“Dischem Head Office, is there any chance that you can PLEASE recruit more pharmacists or assistant pharmacists at the Blue Crane, Meyersdal Dischem pharmacy. We are really tired of waiting in long queues to just obtain medication from self-medication counters. Is this fair to wait 25 - 30 minutes to be assisted? Highly frustrated and disappointed customer”

“I went to Dischem at Jabulani Mall on the 5th Aug 2023, looking for my make up foundation as I had run out. I was assisted by Mmabatho at the make up section and she was amazing! The brand I use was out of stock, but she managed to match my colour to an even better, more budget-friendly brand! I am happy! Her customer service is wonderful and she is a valuable asset there :)”

“Cape Gate Dischem. This is the second time that I get really bad service at the till. The lady was utterly rude and disrespectful. She ignored me and asked rudely that I put my basket at the other side of the till. Won't go back. After a long day I don't want to be a disrespected customer. I said: 'enjoy your afternoon' and she gave me a flat ignore. I would rather go to clicks Cape Gate. I would like better service and think you should put more helpful people at the front.”

“Good day, We went to Dischem Safeway Cresent in Witbank for the first time with a prescription. No one could read the prescription, I phoned our doctors receptionist and they asked that they must e-mail the prescription to them and they refused. They wanted to give my husband Metformin 1000mg instead of the penicillin, he is not even diabetic. We wanted to take the prescription back but the pharmacist assistant grab it and torn it. We had to go back to the doctors room for a new prescription and we told the doctor what happend and he was shocked that not even the pharmacist could read the prescription. Don't even want to think what would have happened to my husband if he drank the wrong medicine. Someone should really check the Qualifications of the people working there. They will kill people with wrong medication.”

“i have ordered medication to be delivered at 15;00 the driver came at 15;30 and it was delivered, but they failed to tell me that there was a levy of R98,50. dischem clear water im not impressed at all and to think i really needed that medication..”

“Terrible service, took almost a week to deliver adult diapers to a nursing home 1.5km from brooklyn dischem. Order was placed and paid for online and only got packet 49hrs later and delivered 4days later”

“I went to the dispensary just to fund out if they had the pneumococal vaccine in stock and nobody could help me. I did not ask to be immunised. All I asked if the vaccine was available but it was an extreme mission. The dispensary assistant asked the clinic sister and she rudely said she is busy with a patient. She kept me waiting. Then after half hour a nursing assistant came out and spoke rudely with no manners. She was a black lady and so was the nurse. Such bad attitude. I never asked to be served or to take any patients place. But surely somebody knows if the vaccine is available. She did not even greet or smile. This is what you get for cheap labour. Most of dischems staff are incompetent.”

“Disorganised! I just wanted a Discovery Wellness health check. Called to make appointment. Told I could come anytime! I arrived to be told the nurse is "on lunch", so I came back an hour later to wait another half hour! The pinprick in the finger for the blood samples was more like a stab, leaving my finger sore and bruised. it just bled and bled! The nurse also told me to "stay off dairy products"! This is not only wrong but misinformed. Women especially need dairy products for the calcium for their bones, especially as they age. Osteoporosis is a very real problem.Without dairy products, the onset of osteoporosis may certainly come sooner! Why are the nurses so misinformed, Dischem? Shame on you!”

“I spent about 3 to 4000r a month with dischem, bitamins beauty products, and it all changed with excluding the white race employment. Found independent pharmacies and shop online at places that is not racist. I have never treated any person I have ever engaged with as a lessor. Dischem I am not your lessor. You will not have ONE cent of mine ever. Even if I have to hold without it”

“Always shortstaffed stand in line atleast for 20 mins and never have stock on shelves on certain products I could always get at one store go to another branch then they have some but out on another its inconsistent and pathethic then the staff will say oh our branch is too small only the bigger outlets stock this, I say its bad magement and staff farting around not doing their jobs and not makimg sure that stock is being re ordered or replenished thats BEE for you but remember YOU SAVE MORE @ CLICKS#WEE”
