“Feeling a bit underwhelmed by the towel which sounded like the dream when advertised. The towel is creased when it it’s been in the carry bag, it didn’t seem to dry dramatically differently to other towels and sand still lingered. The best thing is how compact and light it is. Also having washed it upon return from my holiday, it still looks discoloured on the white stripes which is disappointing when the cost is much more than other towels”

“I do like how light weight these towels are. I was expecting them to be a little thicker, more like a hot yoga towel, but they kinda remind me of a table cloth. I am disappointed they are already stained though after one wash (just from wet sand and grass).”

“My second D&B beach towel. They are super soft, colours lovely and bright, would definitely purchase again. Bit disappointed that only after its first use I noticed a speck of dark ink has “dropped” on to the cream “wave” looking like a dirty mark.”

“I brought these for our holiday. They are ok they are light and dry faster than normal towels. . But the sand still sticks to them. The white stripes are also not a great idea. They are looking quite grubby after day one of our holiday.”

We’re glad you love our designs 💖 We understand the texture is not for everyone as unlike your traditional towels D&B towels are not made of microfibres, but rather 100% recycled plastic 🙌 No worries though, if they’re not for you, that’s okay! “Ordering was OK but delivery spoiled by Royal Fail. DoB's Customer Service sent missing parcel forms, which were promptly lost, then requested another. In the meantime parcel arrived! Very chaotic first and last experience of this outfit.”

“I was shown that the towel was still available in that size. After ordering, I received an email saying that the towel was no longer available and I get the refund. This process was very quick.”

“Ware kam schnell innerhalb von 4 Werktagen an und war in einem guten Zustand. Stoff und Design sind gut, allerdings war ich über die Tiefe der Taschen enttäuscht - im Verhältnis zur Breite der Taschen viel zu niedrig/kurz. Aufgrund der Nachhaltigkeit habe ich sie nicht zurückgeschickt und selbst verlängert. Könnte ein Verbesserungsvorschlag sein.”

“The Dock and Bay XL and L towels I have are amazing and fold up exceptionally well which is perfect for walking and wild swimming. I was disappointed with the poncho as I felt they were not as good as the towels so I was left disappointed with their small size and lack of drying capacity.”

“I wanted to love these towels. Ordered one for each family member for a beach vacation. They are not quick dry and sand sticks more than regular towels! After more than 12 hours hanging to dry the towels are still wet! It may be user error but I’m not sure what I am doing wrong.”

“Die Handtücher wirken qualitativ hochwertig und halten ihr Versprechen, dass sie schnell trocknen. Die Ponchos sind sehr starr und aus dem selben Material wie die Handtücher. Da die Ponchos nicht passen, wollten wir diese zurück schicken. Leider wurde die Retour nicht von Dock & Bay übernommen. Wir mussten daher knapp 20€ an Porto für die Retour bezahlen, da die Ware nach Polen geschickt werden musste. Außerdem sollte die Ware unbedingt mit einer Sendungsverfolgungsnummer verschickt werden. Ich bin gespannt ob das klappt und wir unsere Rückerstattung erhalten. Wir finden das nicht sehr kundenorientiert und werden uns deshalb überlegen, ob wir noch einmal bestellen.”

“Sadly not a good experience this time. The towel I ordered came and was tiny. The website showed it as a bath towel, but in the drop down menu I didn't notice that the price was for a hand towel. I was offered my money back, plus return postage, but have yet to see my refund. I have ordered from this firm before and like their products.”

“I found the hair wrap too small for my head compared to other one size ones, plus I didn't find any difference in drying times so a little disappointed. The cool towels work well and love the color, yet to try the over shirt thingy but as same material as the hair wrap not expecting too much”

“I really wanted to love this towel. I bought it as a swimming towel, as I swim three times a week and in the cooler weather my normal towel does not always dry between swims. It was ok but it was harder to get dry than with a normal towel which increased my turnaround time at the pool. I will persevere. I suspect it's better as a light beach towel for people travelling light than a daily use towel.”

“I found the website quite confusing when ordering. I thought I was ordering a large towel and when it came it was a small hand towel. So it didn't seem clear to me what I was ordering. They were very good about communicating about my order and a refund so that was very positive.”

“Two children's ponchos were dispatched promptly . The seam was coming apart on one so I contacted DnB , offering to sew the seam myself in return for a partial refund. DnB agreed. Their communication was good. They offered me 25%. Fair enough I thought. BUT they applied to 25% to the towel which was priced as half price on their promotion - refunding me a miserly £3. I wish I'd requested a complete exchange 🥴”

Sometimes they get sucked into the spam folder, but just taking a long time to appear in the inbox is strange. We're glad to hear it did eventually come through.
