I am very happy with this company. I have peace of mind knowing that if my appliances break down they well try to fix them. If the appliance can’t be fixed then you we’ll get a replacement I can personally testify to that. I would recommend domestic and general to everyone.

The guys Chris and Neil were so efficient. The old machine was removed and the new one installed quickly, no mess at all. They were very apologetic that the kitchen door wouldn't fit the new machine but, it's only a door.....not a big deal. Thank you guys, job well done 👍!!

This company are terrible never ever insure with them, we have been sent the wrong replacement hob by their supplier and now they are washing their hands of our problem it seems theat they should have arranged collection with 48 hours and it's now 21 days and they are refusing collection of the hob.

I have been with D&G for 14years now and I can only praise the quality of service i have received from them. List of items covered Washing Machine Dish Washer Tumble Dryer Fridge Freezer Cooker Television I've had some repaired and some replaced and I have always had excellent service. I've read a lot of bad comments on her that is why I chose to write mine, somebody even wrote that they kept repairing their appliance instead of replacing it, we pay for a breakdown service and if it can't be repaired they will replace it no problem but only if it can't be repaired, we are supposed to be thinking about the planet and cutting down on waste, people need to be thinking about fixing things and not throwing things away that can be fixed.

Lyall came to my house, examined washing machine, told me I needed a new drum and motor, Lyall and the parts were back within 21 days (there was a delay with 1 of the parts), all fired and machine working very well. Lyall really nice guy, friendly and professional which is a good balance to have.

Have taken out insurance for kitchen electrical equipment only in July and unfortunately oven broke down in December. Easy online repair booking system and when it could not be repaired replacement offered. All completed online and deliver prompt and friendly. Very happy with service so far and prices are fair for each item insured.

They have just sorted out a problem with cooker. Booked repair and they sent a "engineer" out to fix it. Span me a yarn about "getting a part" and did a runner never to return. Called D&G to ask what was going on, they found out engineer spun a yarn about job being completed and are now replacing the faulty cooker. I got a very good service from them.

The engineers came to assess the TV a day after I rang. They were polite and efficient and assessed the problem and the solution while they were there (replacement TV needed). There was a couple of minor delays between the engineers that assessed my TV D&G so getting a replacement took a matter of a day or two longer than perfect. Customer services were very helpful throughout. I'm happy.

My television was accidentally damaged moving it from one room to another, the engineer came the day after I reported it and was replaced with a better model and my premium was reduced to £4.50 a month which I feel is reasonable as it covers everything including accidental damage

excellent service my washing machine broke down on Monday called dom.gen.engineer came on Thursday deemed it unrepairable new washing machine delivered on Friday and installed by AO.great service would recommend ins.by domestic general as a must have so thank you very much
