The service is GREAT, the caller centre staff are wonderful. They do a good job, fast. Well worth the monthly fee.

I have a number of household appliances covered, so far I have only needed to call about one of them: the cooker. Two separate call outs, with a workman readily available, arrived promptly, and resolved the issue quickly, even when factoring in ordering parts. Service has been good and there have no issues.

My 6 months old 49 inch Samsung TV screen had a crack. D&G replaced the screen with no additional cost as promised while buying the insurance policy within a week of lodging the complaint. I was regularly updated by the repair Agency about the availability of the spare parts and the appointment for the TV repair. Very happy with the service. Thank you. D&G and Equinox.

The Hoover/Candy Engineer (Gary) has now finished my repair. He arrived within the approximate time frame. He asked pertinent questions. He did some electronic tests. He took the top off the machine and ran it for a period of time. The machine was making an unusual clicking sound. He then did further assessment and identified that it was the motor. He then replaced the motor and put the machine back in its space. Appreciated. He also cleared up and explained what he had done. Again, responsive, prompt, professional, efficient 5 Star Service. Thanks to Hoover Candy and Domestic and General Care and Repair for excellent service.

So....have Domestic and General Care and Repair Plan. Monthly cost but allows you to call out an engineer when your appliance eg washing machine or dishwasher breaks down. No call out fee. No parts or labour fee and if they can't fix it the plan replaces like with like at no additional cost. It's a no brainer! So had cause to call them out. Smooth, professional process. Slot booked, out within a couple of days. Email to let you know when. Text giving the time. Hoover/Candy Engineer arrived very promptly. Had the place ready for him to work. Worked very quickly and efficiently and had it repaired within a few minutes. Put the machine back, explained what was wrong. Told me about cleaning products but no hard sell. Appreciated. Very professional/aware of being clean and tidy too.....Hoover/Candy....thanks for a pleasant start to a Saturday morning. Washing machine up and running again! Oh and a great washing machine btw Hoover Optima Wash System, very large drum so takes lots of washing ...saves energy; fast spin and eco friendly. Very happy customer this morning. Thanks Domestic and General and Hoover Candy. Highly recommend.

Had insurance for seveeàl products and when a appliance has to be fixed I receive rewards for the inconvenience, recently brought two brand new appliances using there smart care rewards scheme. Love my new hob and double oven

Have been covered for about 3 years, my washing machine has broken down twice in that time. first repair would have cost my over £400 and my second repair the washing machine was a write off. to replace my LG washing machine for a like for like it would have cost me £1199.99 so over the 3 years I spend with D&G £280, that's a saving of £1399.99 and on top of that D&G replaced my washing machine within 2 days! can not thank them enough
