They give you information on your mobile about times but they never come when they say. They just send misleading messages to your mobile talking about a time slot but you hear no more. Disappointing

I had a parcel I needed asap. It said it will be at my house for Saturday and it never came so I called in. They said it's been changed to Monday (doesnt help with the asap problem) so I asked if I could maybe fetch it from the depot and the person on the call gave me a snotty remark.

Not impressed. I asked them to deliver to a neighbour (I had no choice as to when they were going to deliver) and they delivered to a house 14 doors away - hardly a neighbour! Unfortunately that resident was a dodgy geezer who gave the parcel to his next door neighbour, who gave me the runaround, despite the package containing perishable goods.

TWO DIFFERENT, UNRELATED ITEMS FROM DIFFERENT SUPPLIERS. (A) FAILED TO DELIVER AT SPECIFIED TIME, FAILED AT SECOND AGREED TIME, IN SPITE OF TELEPHONE CONFIRMATION, AND THEN FAILED AT REVISED TIME. (B) NO DELIVERY, NO APOLOGY, NO NOTIFICATION THAT NOT BEING DELIVERED - JUST A LATE NOTIFICATION OF REVISED DAY AND TIME. APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Driver went to wrong house and said he’d missed me and therefore gad to rebook new delivery day - I waited in all day. He even sent a picture of someone else’s front door. I called DPD who said they’d speak to driver. When I actually met the same DPD driver a couple of weeks later (at that time he had found me) he said no one from his depot had spoken to him and he denied going to wrong place. Since then I seem to get him delivering and he’s very short with me. Please deal with my complaint DPD and do send the other delivery guys back again.

My recent delivery came in a damaged box and wasn't even attempted to me fix or re-boxed and their wasn't even an explanation as to why it ended up with way its discussing and I also know that at their Wearhouse they do not handle the products with any care they just chuck them onto the van carelessly they need to be checked on regularly but someone to stop with discussing behaviour

When delivery works, it's fine. I have had some successful deliveries with DPD. However, this is the only courier where I have on several occasions been at home all day, then received a message saying my parcel could not be delivered because I was not available. This happened last week. In all day, the intercom never rang and I received a message with a photo of my block saying delivery was not possible. I thought it was only me this happened to but it now seems I am not alone. I suspect there must be a loophole in their policies for delivery that other companies do not have. Perhaps the driver gets paid for a missed delivery, maybe the same as for when the parcel is actually delivered? So it makes it more worth it for them to pretend they have tried to deliver, collect the fee for that, then come back another day and try the same or actually deliver that time - and collect twice the fee instead of just one fee. That would be my only explanation to this kind of behaviour. When deliveries work, they are OK, overall. But when something goes wrong, its hard to rectify the situation. Talking to their AI chatbot is not always very useful. Getting through to a human is possible and then it's a bit hit and miss as to what service you receive.

Driver did everything in his power. Lovely, polite guy. But customer service in India was appalling. Could have rectified in the situation in minutes by having local depot number, instead 2 hours of pointless calls and lies

The driver, Attila, was the most rude and unhelpful courier I have ever come across. I had reversed my car up to the entrance gate so that he would be able to put the relatively heavy parcels I was expecting into the back of my car. When he arrived, I beeped the horn and waved (I am in a wheelchair and could not get out of the car on the narrow lane) but Attila proceeded straight to the outbuildings where he dropped the parcels. By the time I had reversed around the corner to ask why on earth he had done that when I was clearly waiting for him, he just shrugged his shoulders, said ‘too late’ and walked off. I am unable to lift these parcels myself from the wheelchair and will now have to get somebody else to help me get them to their destination. I am amazed that this man is allowed to deal with the general public on DPD’s behalf with his nonchalant attitude. I am extremely unimpressed and hope to never see him again.

Don’t arrive at specified time and fail to leave parcel, on one occasion they claimed to have left parcel in conservatory which was locked!! Drivers have too many deliveries to make in too little time!

Deliver to houses hundreds of metres away or not at all. Don't contact to find directions. Customer service of local depot promises but doesn't deliver. Have also contacted their regional manager but no response.

DPD has been reasonable up until a recent order where the driver refused to knock and deliver my parcel on two occasions, instead opting to put 'missed you' cards and driving off, and forcing my parcel to go to a pickup point I couldn't reach. Regardless of their civility, DPD's customer service representatives were obtuse to their employee's ineptitude and chose instead to defend his actions. Thankfully, the vendor arranged with me to have my parcel redelivered via a different courier once it was returned to the warehouse. I've given an extra star for the representatives' cordiality, otherwise I'll endeavour hereon to refuse my parcels to be delivered by DPD. They were one of the best amongst the 'Big 3', but while the other two have improved their delivery conduct, DPD seems to have regressed to exactly the behaviours those two used to exhibit. Very disappointing.

Made.com as a company were informative and a good company to deal with. I Am rating DPD and NOT Made.com. DPD who courier for them were and are absolutely useless. I am still waiting for a return email or telephone call. Have yet to receive my made.com item. DPD are a poor excuse for a company. DPD really are a let down to Made.com. I have yet to receive my delivery which means I cannot answer the below questions.

Driver says no one was home without having rung the bell. Not the first time this has happened. Simply didn't come and are lying about it.

They drove past my house and went to another house down the street and left it there and it was signed for by that person in their name and DPD didn't even notice or say who the parcel was for. I e.mailed DPD to tell them what had happened They didn't bother replying. Luckily for me the person was honest and brought the parcel around to me. As they thought the parcel was for them as the driver didnt say a name

Parcel was confirmed and guaranteed for next day delivery 24/5/18 to my home address, I received DPD confirmation email stating delivery would be made on this date but to Sainsbury’s Harpenden. Received other email on 24th stating that I had instructed them to change delivery from Sainsbury’s which I did not and delivery would now be on 25/5 which was no good for me. I requested a customer care phoned call and they could not understand why this happened and the only way that I could receive the package on the 24th would be to pick it up from Dunstable which I did which involved nearly 90 minutes of driving and waiting time. Not impressed.

EVERY time I order, you mostly have to wait all morning before you even get a time slot. Today I waited until 12pm - So I have a 1730-1830 slot but the guy seems a HOUR behind. Bring back royal mail. this is depressing.

DPD might be able to tell you where the driver and delivery is in relation to your location using GPS technology, which is great in principle, and, text/email you a delivery notification minutes after the drop, but, when they are overloaded with volume (industry parlance for for the amount of packages in the entire system) the whole shebang (not industry parlance) FALLS OVER. DPD, stop pretending to be like a FedEx or UPS business model, You haven't got the contingencies, infrastructure or technology in place to cope with busy periods like Christmas and this Godforsaken Black Friday. Hopeless.
