"DPD's reputation is a myth. This company is really rather terrible.\r\nThe delivery driver 2 weeks ago demanded I help them because how dare me order 4 boxes (not heavy in the slightest), the driver was upset because why should he make 2 trips to my door?\" was what he was muttering.\r\nI called DPD about this experience, the lady on the phone suggested that their drivers have the right to deliver parcels if there are more than 1 box per address. The horror.\r\nSo today I can only assume the same driver fake attempted my delivery that was due between 12.08pm and 1.08pm- I was at home waiting for this parcel. Close to 1pm I check tracking update...\r\nIt has been updated to 'parcel has been refused'... by who???!!!\r\nThis behaviour from your drivers is unacceptable DPD. \r\nFor the longest time I have often wondered why Hermes\/Evri bigger than DPD- well it is becoming abundantly clear.\r\nDid you know you cannot drive a van that is 5 years old to deliver DPD parcels. Someone explain to DPD it is not the condition of the van that makes customers happy. Absolutely pathetic, but it is 2024 customer service is in extinction."

"Disrespectful and Dishonest Service\r\nI had a very disappointing experience with one of your drivers during a scheduled collection. The driver was incredibly disrespectful and did not even attempt to pick up my parcel, despite the collection being confirmed. To make matters worse, He falsely reported on the DPD app that there was \"no parcel to collect,\" which is completely untrue. The parcel was ready and waiting at the designated spot.\r\nIt\u2019s unacceptable to experience such poor customer service, especially from a company that I\u2019ve relied on in the past. I expect honesty and professionalism, but this driver fell short on both counts. I hope DPD will address these issues to prevent this from happening to other customers in the future."

"I ordered some tools which I need for work. Usual 1 hour time slot. Then at 10.30 the app didn\u2019t update. When at 6pm I started the chat now I was told it wasn\u2019t lost, but couldn\u2019t tell me where it was. Then tried calling, I do think knowing the definition of lost escaped the person I spoke to also. She advised me they can\u2019t contact the driver while driving, I offered her lots of footage of drivers on their phones delivering parcels I have captured on my ring doorbell. She then explained that they can call the depot if there is a problem. Having one of their drivers swearing in Polish in one clip and various languages spoken in many others, perhaps the depot has moved, that would explain the poor delivery service having to cross the English Channel every day. Then she went on to explain my delivery would depend on how many parcels are on the van. I tried to explain I was delivery 27 and the driver delivered 26 at 10.30 which again I think she struggled the concept of time , especially the 7 hour gap between his last delivery and me being on the phone to her. At that point she said that she could do nothing else to help, I asked that using the word \u2018 else\u2019 would imply that she had actually helped in some way? She hung up.\r\nUsual DPD, usual parcel company but that god it wasn\u2019t Royal Mail. It wouldn\u2019t be here for a month. It\u2019s not like I had anything better to do with my day and the delay in getting my tools will have a knock on effect to my weekend."

"Delivery driver never rings my bell, instead leaves my parcel in a public unsafe, unmonitored place, on a completely different floor to where I live for it to be stolen, huge sign with red writing says don't leave parcels there, he just ignores it and never delivers to my actual address\/door, despite having the address and me being home. Ignores my notes in the safe space option which clearly states to do deliver to my door, and if I am not home leave it outside my door. This has happened over 17 times where he doesn't bother coming to my door.He has delivered to my actual address TWICE. He rings the bells of other flats to be let in, so he can leave it in the public place. Does not do his job properly!"

"Placed 3 orders now with Yamaha motorcycles for a new seat for my bike, they only use DPD for their deliveries.\r\n1st order never arrived after 10 days.\r\n2nd order was damaged.\r\n3rd order has been delayed at their sorting office now for 10 days.\r\nAbsolutely disgraceful company.\r\nLoiks like this order will have to be refunded again for non delivery \/ lost again and another order placed, which sadly will also still be via DPD as Yamaha don't use anyone else.\r\nI've been trying to obtain a new seat for my motorcycle now since mid July with DPD screwing every order up once it hits the UK.\r\nI now have a bike sat in the garage with no seat on it so have unable to ride it for over 2 months now.\r\nWorst delivery company ever.\r\nI'm sure some of the drivers are decent, but the warehouse and sorting is an absolute joke."

"I have just spent two days waiting in for a parcel that has never arrived. Yesterday, I received a one hour time slot and started tracking the driver at the beginning of the time slot, watching his progress as he got closer and closer, then suddenly the screen changed to 'We Missed You' with a blank black image of where the driver supposedly attempted delivery. I contacted customer services through chat and they just said we can't do anything except reschedule.\r\nSo, today, I'm waiting again for the delivery to be made and I'm watching the driver's progress on the tracking. I'm sitting by my lounge window that looks out onto the street and the front door is open, and this time I'm taking screen shots every five minutes of his progress. The last screenshot of his progress said he was at stop 60, I was stop 68 and he was around 15 minutes away .... then just five minutes later, the screen changed sudden to 'We Missed You'!! As I said, I was sitting at my lounge window which looks out onto the street with the front door open .... NO-ONE CAME TO MY HOUSE!! My plans ruined on two separate days. I tried again with chat but couldn't access it, if you call it is a recorded message saying you must reschedule and the email contact form is defective and doesn't work. What a TERRIBLE company!! The CEO is someone called Elaine Kerr, if anyone has any contact details for her please do post them. I will never, ever use this company or agree to have anything delivered by them."
