I usually don't have too many issues with dpd, I don't get notified when things arrive though. I had a delivery today which required a signature as it was around £500, they did not even leave it by my door, they left it 2 floors down in the open, box torn open, didn't notify me they left it or that they even arrived, found it an hour later a state. I couldn't review anything as they didn't give me an option to as the delivery guy stated he delivered it to me in person which obviously wasn't true as he did not. Was very unhappy with poor effort and quality of care.

Disappointed. Correct street They even took the photo of the wrong building of the flat and waited in all day. Now I got to make other arrangements to wait and catch them so they can deliver the parcel. Even evri have been sending it to the local shop of mine lately and have been efficient. Says it all I don't trust deliveries as their staff are lazy and incompetent

Parcel from Amazon supposedly delivered to me by DPD today. It wasn't. I had to go hunting for it around the neighbouring houses (in a scattered rural community), and eventually found it on someone else's doorstep. No point in trying to complain to DPD - it wouldn't make any difference.

Used to be the best. Now they’re just the best (and most annoying) at self promotion.

Always a delivery when no one's home, can't change time slot once given, no depo to go to collect. Worst of all if you want delivery time or date you have to pay . No compromise at all

so unhelpful- consistently attempting delivery on a weekday during working hours. I tried to rearrange multiple times but they refuse to deliver on a weekend unless I sign up to their VIP delivery subscription service. Awful service. Now they keep trying every day during working hours and I cannot even stop it. Awful.

Rang doorbell before I could get to the door, 30 seconds and I am a pensioner dumped it by the front door in full view and drove off. Had no idea if anyone was in. Had to struggle to get it into my Hall.

I waited in for my delivery yesterday, allegedly 17.38 and 18.38 on 21 December. It didn't arrive and on the tracking there was a note to say that Laurentiu was running late but would deliver my parcel yesterday evening. INeedless to say it did not arrive. This is not the first time that DPD has failed to deliver to me, especially when my slot is after 3pm. I am expecting my delivery between 4-5pm. I hope it does.

DPD have really gone down hill lately. I don't know if they just anyone as a driver or change rules for drivers..But the last 3 or so deliveries has been awful! 1 incident. My roommate sitting in the front room, blinds half up as he knew I was waiting for a delivery. He saw the delivery guy walk up to our door, he looked like he was pretending to knock, turned around and about to leave. My roommate barley made it to the door to stop the delivery guy and take the package..meanwhile the delivery guy were giving him attitude. 2 incident. About the same thing happen to me. I'm upstairs in my room (that's at the front) with all windows open. I hear the doorbell I yell, letting the delivery guy know I'm on my way down. I was lucky catching the guy as he was about to turn around and leave. I know that they have to take a photo of some packages as proof that they had been delivered. They guy did not ask if I was okey with it and just took the picture and left. 3 incident, happen today. I had given them a safe as due to being pregnant and always tired I fall asleep easily. At the time I was in the kitchen having lunch. I suddenly get an email saying "Your package has been successfully delivered to your safe space". There was no knock or doorbell. No attempt what-so-ever The delivery guy had just dropped the package in the safe space and left. Bonus, few days ago on my way home, I saw one of the delivery guys driving around with their boot open. Really professional..

What the heck has happened to DPD? Two weeks ago you were riding the wave of reliability, but the decline is so dramatic and rapid, I wonder whether Truss or Kwarteng is interning with you? I have been waiting six days for a package, received at the local depot, and 'Your parcel has been delayed due to an unexpected issue ... your new estimate is [insert next day]'. After two days I think you should have got to the bottom of 'unexpected'. Reading some of the other woeful stories of DPD's recent performance I am, thus far, having an easy time. I have asked the vendor to query this with their DPD account manager: they consider this unacceptable to be fobbed-off daily, and to have their business damaged by DPD's poor fulfilment. There is, as other reporters have found, no easy means to speak to a human at DPD who could offer clarity and reassurance, which adds to the frustration. I have previously used DPD to deliver items, but have no choice, on the back of this poor performance, to look into alternatives who have taken on a manageable workload and not imploded. Two stars: why not one? - I still have a recollection of how good DPD was from just a few weeks ago.

I was due a delivery today via DPD & my husband was in, working from home, but the driver didn't ring the doorbell, therefore my husband didn't hear him knock. We have the video on the ring doorbell - he came down the drive, knocked & immediately walked away again, went the the van, closed the door & then got back in the van and drove off! Why not ring the doorbell??!! Terrible service!

given a delivery slot and then after the due time the website tracking informed that the ‘driver is running a little late’. The web site sp doesn’t give any indication of when the delivery will now happen. 3 hours later, still waiting.

Driver dumped my parcel at the door and disappeared before I walked five steps to open the door. The parcel was marked ‘heavy’ and I would have liked him to lift it over the doorstep for me. If I had it been in, it would have been soaked by the rain. I tried to leave a review of the delivery on my DPD app, but they are obviously not interested, as I was not given the option to do that. The notification said ‘delivered to LOLO’ what’s that supposed to mean? Valentin was HIS name.

I donated an old laptop to a charity and it never reached the drop off point. Lost without a trace. A fairly large box, disappeared into thin air? Or disappeared into the boot of someone’s car. They wouldn’t even pay up the poultry £30 value I put on it, which would have gone to the tech charity. Appalling service.

I have tried all the contact places I have been on live chat, what's app, Facebook, Twitter etc, and the contact form and no one has helped me so because of this I now can not change my one hour slot for today you really need to improve your customer service and contact system not very impressed with your company

They used to be good, with the one hour time slot always hit and easily tracked. The last few attempts have been gradually getting worse. Am currently waiting for a parcel today. It's nearly 1pm and no one hour time slot has been given and the last tracking shows the parcel in Kent yesterday (delivery is due in County Durham). Customer service chat was automated and of no use and the Customer service number I phoned and then supposedly passed onto my local depot - well they just disconnected straight away. Get your act together DPD.

Bad service. I made order online and paid money. However, when I called to customer service after 2 days to clarify regards not moving delivery. I was told that I need to print out labels which were sent to me via email. I explained that I did not receive anything. After I was transfer from one person to another, wasting my time and money on phone. In the end, customer support could not assist me. They suggested that money will be returned if I will not take any actions (which they did refund). However I wasted my time without getting what I needed.

Often a pretty good experience from hard working drivers, but I’ve been waiting up for a delivery that I was emailed by DPD to say that it would be here by 10pm. It’s 10:20 and I’ve just found that it might be here on Friday or, possibly, Monday. Who can tell? DPD’s communicators don’t seem to be able to make a promise that I can rely on.

The driver literally parked outside the house got out the van went round the other side of it then got back In and drove off then went to the app and it said he didn't have the contact information or along the lines of that practically no effort made at all
