I spent so much money 2 months ago to get a mattress but it aches my back . My back really pains and the rest of my body when I wake up. I wish I could change it.

Hemel Hempstead Richard Jennings is a very slick salesman indeed. Polite with just the right amount of friendliness- not too much. Remember he is a salesman. Knew my budget- and actually tricked me into believing a bed I was trying was a £600 mattress. It was a lovely mattress- which when I had decided that was the one for me- the price by the side of it stated £900. Hmm. Richard did not bat an eye. Next the sales tactics. Automatically adding the Dreams guarantee insurance to the total. Except when you read the small print it states quite clearly that you will not be eligible for any help if the item is damaged prior to or during delivery of it to your home!!! Hmm. So dodgy 8 year guarantee. Please look at other customers reviews of their experience of the 8 year guarantee. Finally the trying to tie me into the sale. Asking me to put a £200 retainer deposit down on the mattress. Seriously guys. DON’T EVER BUY OR PUT A RETAINER DOWN SAME DAY. WALK AWAY AND LET THE WHOLE PICTURE OF THE SALE BE CLEAR IN YOUR MIND. THE SALESMEN ARE COMPETENT SALES MEN. They make it seem as if they are on your side but actually they are in it for themselves. They only care about extracting money from you.

I got a mattress delivered on the 5th December, I noticed when I flipped and rotated the mattress in April, that there was a blue mark on one side and a grey mark on the other. I phoned Dreams but because of Covid I had to wait til July for someone to come out to inspect my mattress. Got a technician sent from Homeserve who said the grey mark was finger prints and the blue mark was dye transfer, he said these marks are possiblity due to accidental damage. To me the blue mark looks like mold. My hands are always clean before I make or change my bed, I always use a mattress protector. My mattress is now going lumpy and causing me to have a sore back. I'm now going to have to buy a new mattress. I wouldn't advise anyone to buy from Dreams.

£849 for a mattress that started sagging after just 12 months and now it has lost it's support altogether and causes horrendous back pain! Dreams sent the "independent" Homeserve out to "test" the mattress and strangely enough, their results completely differ to the same tests I performed myself.... I believe Homeserve are biast in order to keep their contract with Dreams.. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN, NOR WILL MY FAMILY, FRIENDS OR ACQUAINTANCES. Buy a mattress online with a lifetime warranty! From my experience with Dreams, they do not care about their customers AT ALL and just want your £££ Absolutely Disgusted

Paid £850 for a mattress less than a year ago has massive lump in the mattress dreams come out to look and have said it’s our fault as they believe it’s been caused by the way we use the mattress all we do is sleep in it ? Customer service awful no one seems to care I now have no mattress and am still paying for it

After arranging delivery of a 800+ mattress we were met with inept delivery men who were rude and vile in the house and could not fit the mattress into the room , after we were told that dreams would be in touch about what to do next we heard nothing till 3 days later , I proceeded to store and demanded a refund which we got but the complaint was not taken seriously and we were left dejected and still without a new mattress altogether a terrible customer service and company avoid at all cost

As everyone else bought an expensive bed , were unsure about a topper as would not be able to turn mattress and had had a previous poor experience . We were reassured by a very convincing con artist and asted even more money on the extended guarantee. Mattress now sagging, hurting backs and we almost roll out of bed with large hump in the middle. Activated our warranty , man with the string arrived, could see the problem but said he would do the tests but we had no chance as 3.5cm sag was permissible. Please everyone do not use this company and be aware the guarantee is worthless

Good experience in store and with delivery- mattress good so far. My complaint is with a product which costs £45 - The Pure Cotton mattress protector. This isn't 100% pure cotton, it has polyester/hollowfibre filling and unlike the very expensive range of Flaxby 'made in England' beds (Harrison Spinks) this item is actually made in China. I have spent several hours trying to put a review on Dreams website pertaining to this (with photos) but they keep 'moderating' my review and no surprise, they won't publish it! Have managed to upload review on Trustpilot and hopefully here too.

Let’s first start by saying the store and the staff there are an absolute delight to deal with and this complaint has nothing to do with them. Ordered a bed in July, all ok, a month later a date and time was sorted for delivery, on the morning of delivery the driver phoned to say he was on his way but there would be no mattress as it had not come into stock, nobody from the depot had rung to say this, no offer of another mattress was made, I had to phone the store to find out was was going on, Susan the manager was shocked to here what I was telling her and she organised a brand new replacement mattress to be delivered for us to use in whilst we were waiting for the one we had ordered. Still no phone call from the depot. When we did get a phone call it was to arrange the delivery of the mattress we ordered, a date and time was agreed, waited for delivery on the day and an hour after delivery slot I had to phone driver to see where he was only to be told the mattress still hadn’t turned up and had nobody from the depot phoned us, so I still don’t have mattress we ordered, nobody from the depot knows how to us a phone and if there is a manager there he or she should leave the job and maybe start sweeping the floor as this job may be more suitable!!!!!!

Ordered a sofa bed over 6 weeks ago. Very happy with in-store sales process. HOWEVER - we were told that delivery would be 6-8 weeks and we would be contacted with a delivery date within 2 weeks. No contact. Follow up - no contact nor response to left messages. Went into store (Reading) again promised follow up - nothing. Contacted HQ and was told that delivery slot is now November. Cancelled bed awaiting refund. Sourced a replacement through Wayfairer - this is arriving this afternoon - and customer service and delivery agents (Panther) have been excellent.

Wish I'd read these reviews sooner. Ordered a bed from them well over a month ago then got a voicemail from them at 5:55pm (5 minutes before they close) the day before my bed was due to be delivered saying that I would only be getting the mattress because the frame was "out of stock" despite receiving an email the same day and speaking to a member of staff, as well as a couple of updates over the past month saying it would be delivered on time. No information about when the frame might come back in to stock (if ever) no information about a possible replacement, no information about what I'm supposed to do next. They've taken the money out of my account but now I can't get through to their customer service, can't get through to them on their online web chat and the current wait for a reply to an email is 5 working days according to their web page. Will never use the company again and would advise anyone thinking about it to keep well clear. So disappointed after waiting so long. I'm seriously ill at the moment and am now currently sleeping on the floor.

We spent £1500 on a bed at dreams, just a year or so later one of the boards on the base gave way. The "independent" assessor rushed in, declared it was due to undue pressure, took a few photos and rushed out. Surprise, surprise the report says it's our fault as we sat on the bed too much! This bed takes up to 115 kilos of weight, I weigh 80 kilos so surely sitting on the bed shouldn't be a problem, even if I did sit on it too much (I don't) The assessor didnt ask any questions just assumed what had happened. What a waste of money the insurance is, it's loaded in their favour

You are by far the worst retailer I have ever had the displeasure to deal with. Staff don’t do what they say they are doing. Lies about delivery dates and ultimately asking me to pay the full balance immediately to get a guaranteed delivery date only to find out that this was also a lie. Promised call backs never materialised. If you are thinking about buying from this company, beware.

What they mean is “A refund madam for an £800 mattress that struggles too support the quilt let alone the poor person sleeping in it?” “IN YOUR DREAMS MADAM “ Utter rubbish, I can squeeze flat the outer edge with one hand. I haven’t even took it out the plastic bag. Requests a refund politely from Dreams, there going too send an engineer out....how predictable. TOO BE CONTINUED 🙄

They treat genuine employees like dirt and heep praise on the arselickers who creep to the management . They employ store managers who deal drugs on the store premises and who steal the companies money . Anyone who is thinking of working for dreams should think twice unless you know how to creep to the so called managers .

New mattress smells awful! Wasn’t told this would occur. First night my body was so hot I thought my flesh was cooking. Far too firm and bones ached so much. According to Dreams criteria I have to endure for 30 days before I can do anything. Again I was not told about this.
