“I bought my new bathroom - tiles, shower unit, toilet and washbasin from Easy Bathrooms, Chorley. I couldn't have had a better service from them. It was all planned extremely well and I was advised on products as well as sales offers. Their products and service generally were superb!”
“Delivery was delayed but no communication at all. Until I called asking where my order was. They also only deliver on Tuesdays and Fridays but keep it a big secret. My delivery was delayed by over 3 days with no notification. Harlow branch asked me to get in touch with Customer services who never responded when I said I wanted to place a complaint. No one seems to care when things go wrong. My builder lost over 3 days thanks to them. Their communication is non existent. Their measurers came to measure before we bought materials and I was left with over 7 bags of adhesive (20kgs each) extra. When I asked to return this additional material (due to their measurer's lack of measuring skills) they refused to take it back. Stay clear at all costs! They are very pricey for the unreliable, non responsive and do not give a damn attitude! Use tile mountain who are far far more reliable.”
“Absolutely shocking treatment from easy bathrooms. Right from the beginning our experience was poor.
Customer advisor totalled our bill wrong and rang up to say they wanted more money, tiles arrived with around 20% smashed.
A year and a half after installation all the poor quality MDF surrounding the bath, sink and toilet is splitting. Both bath and sink plugs broke pretty early on and the toilet is badly marked where the varnish has come off.
We only use bleach like every other household has done!
We sent photos off and received a reply from the technical department to say nothing they can do, this is due to water splashing on to the units and not covered.
So are you telling me we bought a bathroom suite from you which can’t be used around water?!! This was certainly not explained by the sales person in your branch! You also said the toilet varnish had come off due to using bleach!!! Really are you saying that none of your toilets can be cleaned with any kind of cleaning product which has been used for decades?
I will also mention that the shower screen purchased was weak and flimsy and came off the wall within months.
We have complained to the manager of the branch who will not do a thing to help customer services do not want to know and sent an email saying as such.
We are so furious, we are not leaving it here. Thousands of pounds wasted on substandard rubbish. If you’re considering buying a bathroom suite from Easy Bathrooms my recommendation is that you totally avoid and go somewhere reputable.”
“Arrived at Crawley to collect my order, having specially asked the man that called to confirm a previously delayed mirror was now in as well as the other items. To which he confirmed the mirror was in. On my arrival no mirror. Both members of staffed repeatedly referred to the vanity unit (with mirrored doors) as the mirror. First member of staff offered to rectify their mistake by delivering the mirror when it came in. A fair solution, until the manager stepped in. Insisting that when he called he was refering the mirror on the vanity unit. Adopted a passive aggressive attitude, saying the mirror would only be delivered if I paid for it. Wasn't prepared to acknowledge his mistake or offer a solution to the error. I certainly will not buy from them again due to one individuals bad attitude.”
“Avoid! Shocking company! They owe me over £1,000 for sending me the wrong bathroom tiles. They do not answer their phones at customer service! This has been going on for over two weeks now! Do not order from this company! Save yourself the grief and your money!”
“Hi there! I am yet another very angry and dissatisfied customer and instead of sharing my story I would URGE everyone who has had a bad experience and has written a review here about Easy Bathrooms to post them on Trustpilot because they have 4.4 starts there and this is how we got caught. I am sure they are mostly fake reviews and so all your experience should be transparent and seen at the platform where most people go for reviews. Many thanks!”
“I visited Easy Bathroom Worcester on 22 November for an appointment to discuss my requirements for a new bathroom. I chose some possible bathroom suites, and the agreed outcome of the appointment is that I would be emailed over provisional options and prices, and then they would visit to measure up to confirm the costs. It is a week later, and no further communication has been received. I have decided to look elsewhere, rather than chase them up, as this does not bode well for the installation phase.”
“I recently spent £1600 on vanity units and bath panels from Easy Bathrooms for my new bathroom. Unfortunately, these products are made from MDF and fail as soon as they get wet. Despite replacing two units, they continue to deteriorate. Easy Bathrooms now claims the issue is due to installing the unit under a sink, which caused it to get wet. However, these vanity units are designed to have a sink fitted on top and were sold to me for this exact purpose. Despite being marketed and priced as high-quality items, they are actually low-quality MDF and clearly not waterproof.”
“3 orders 3 wrong deliveries. Well two wrong deliveries and one defective item.
Front of the house in the shops is brilliant, friendly, knowledgeable and easy to deal with.
Now Warehousing and despatch really need to go to specsavers and start using an Abacus! Check your orders thoroughly! Not just for quantity, but also for any sign of defective packaging!”
“We purchased black tiles and white tiles advertised as the same size and range for a check pattern.
The black tiles were 3mm bigger than the white hence useless to us.
We requested a return for these tiles on the day they were delivered, this company refused to accept a return for these tiles.
Despite delivering some of them in nothing more than black shrink wrap and one of the boxes being opened before delivery to us, evidenced as per the delivery drivers own proof of delivery photo, they claimed the entire 4 boxes and the stack in the shrink wrap were unresaleable because I resealed the opened with brown tape instead of clear...
Avoid bad companies like this with poor customer service and save yourself the headache.”
“Very disappointed. Was promised nearly 2 weeks ago that a delivery would happen today. It didn't arrive and I had to ring the store only to be told I wouldn't have it. I took a day off work, lost out on pay and had to pay a fitter for a day, for nothing. No communication from the store and no help from customer service”
“We explained what we wanted and we were shown around the Gloucester showroom by Ben Golding. He was polite and courteous at all times and very knowledgeable. He did not immediately go for the expensive option and we did not feel pressured to buy. The items arrived in excellent condition.”
“I bought shower mixer tap, two basin taps and wall hung unit for the cloakroom 18 months ago. Within days the Nyland/Nero taps looked discoloured and I thought I shouldn’t have cleaned them with bathroom spray cleaner which I have used regularly forever on other taps.
The vanity unit bubbled up within days as well.
I went to another store to buy new taps of better quality and the local bathroom shop assistant recommended chrome taps and when I told her about my experience with EB chrome taps she advised that they should be under guarantee and I should get a refund.
Not say Easy Bathrooms. First tried to fob me off that they were out of guarantee, then it is lime scale, I told them I have water softener and lime scale is not a big issue. I was told I have not been wiping the taps after each use as water has dried on the taps!
The vanity unit - I have let water run on to the edge of unit so that has caused the bubbling.
I am 73 years old and have never had problems like this. I wanted to have some modern looking taps, wish I had stuck with the old ones.
After numerous to and fro emails the resolution was I could buy the same stuff at 50% discount!!!!
I wanted to tell them what they could do with that offer.
Please don’t set foot in this store, their stuff is inferior, looks good but you soon find out it is cheap and defective.”
“Bought a basin in Spring/Summer 2024. The product was cracked out of the box. They have refused to provide a replacement. Will not use them again and would advise others don't either.”
“Bought and had fitted an ELLIS WC UNIT in charcoal, it looked lovely, Then we noticed that plastic skin on unit was bubbling and lifting away from unit carcass. Took pictures went to showroom where we purchased unit and showed them photos of damage. It must have been a FRIDAY job was one action from in store staff. Phoned and sent photos toEasy bathroom customer services, told it was water ingress which is not possible. Told no one can visit to view. would have to buy new unit, not their problem. We are an elderly couple who can not understand their attitude. Is it a case of have your money, TOUGH!. Customer service? What a misnomer!”
“Terrible company, do not use. If I could give them 0 stars I would. We spent thousands on a bathroom makeover and from start to finish it has been a nightmare. The salesman, we found out afterwards, was totally inexperienced, and yet was left to design and order a total bathroom, he left out the bath......work out that one! The wrong items were ordered, and it took a lot of phone calls and hassle to get that amended. Then the shower head paint started bubbling and peeling, and of course that was down to cleaning products. I am not stupid, I can read directions for aftercare and follow them, but how do you prove you haven't used any? Unlike many other places with them the customer is not always right and they will not listen. Why would you not when you have paid out so much of your hard earned money? So if you're thinking of renovating your bathroom take my advice and go elsewhere.”
“Have gone to easy bathrooms thinking will have good quality... was really wrong...
Just after few months thighs started to fall appart, starting from toilet seats and flushes, shelves fallifg out in of unit that was over 500£, wastes rusting and pealing off, tap very stiff need replacing, shower valve leaking.. The list is endless... contacted Sheffield branch and to start they sorted few things, but it was not long before other things gone wrong again and now I'm just ignored, been promised it will be sortedand nothing is done, im send to Customer serviceand they do nothing too saying its not covered by warranty.
Now another flush broke send email and been told its not in stock and can't be replaced, whent to shop and been advised delivery with in 3 days for price of 56£ for flush, when aksed about the warranty been told will take to long, than said will sort it and again 2 weeks gone and nothing done....
All I want to say this company is a bunch of liers that sell cheap staff..
I had my previous bathroom from a private plumbing company and never had issues for 15 year, now I got 3 bathrooms done from easy bathrooms, and it all needs replacing after 2 years.
AVOID IF YOU DON'T HAVE SPARE CASH AND TIME TO WASTE!!!”
“Who would have thought a bathroom unit couldn’t even have a bit of condensation on it! A unit that is in the room which naturally has the most water!! Clearly we have been showering and bathing all wrong and everything must be bone dry. I must remember that when I get out of a bath to dry myself before stepping out and then go around the entire room wiping off any hint of condensation! I can’t roll my eyes hard enough at this. We spent thousands on their units doing up our upstairs bathroom and downstairs toilet, only to find that in just over a year, the upstairs sink unit has started to peel. To be clear; there is an extractor fan above that area and the window is also left wide open to minimise steam when showering or bathing and we usually shower more than having a bath, so water is even further away from the sink.
Contacted easy bathrooms with this issue expecting to receive more help from somewhere that charges through the nose for their units, only to be met with a complete cop out reply blaming us as customers.
Their excuse was that because the sink was next to the bath it was water damaged. I must have forgotten all the times the bath water was so high it reached the top of the sink unit which is at least a good 30cm above the rim of the bath. Also it’s regular practice in our house to grab a load of water and throw it all over the unit clearly. Why would you have a shower or bath any other way?!
To be offered 50% off a new unit was a complete insult on a clearly inferior product which we don’t trust wouldn’t do exactly the same another year down the line. What a waste of money.
They claim they have a guarantee but turns out this is just words to get people to buy their products and they mean absolutely nothing. Obviously they no longer care as we have already paid for our units so they don’t feel like it is their responsibility anymore.
In their own words:
“All Easy Bathrooms products are backed with extensive guarantees offering you up to 25 years of coverage against a range of manufacturing and design faults.
We already offer the highest quality products at amazing prices but to give you extra peace of mind all of our own brand products are guaranteed - so you know when you buy from Easy Bathrooms your bathroom will stand the test of time.”
Incase anyone is still unsure - this is a blatant lie!!
We have previously bought a sink unit from Wickes which was of a significantly higher standard for a fraction of the cost. Definitely avoiding in the future and if I could give negative stars I would.
I would love to continue justifying why I left one star, but I have buckets of water I need to throw around the rest of the house and they’re not going to throw themselves. The rest of the rooms obviously need to match. May even bring the garden hose inside for efficiency!”
