I bought a hercul - easy garden hose in August 2019. When it broke in June 2020 whilst still under guarantee, I phoned Easylife who told me to return it to their warehouse together with a burden of proof letter from an independent company which I did immediately at a cost to myself of £9 postage plus £3 packaging. After several attempts by phone to obtain a refund or replacement I instructed solicitors. They have ignored two solicitors letters. The hose is still under guarantee and they have still not replaced or refunded the cost of the hose. This company is total rubbish, they are very short sighted because they have lost not only myself as a customer but my family, friends and neighbours too.

Asked to remove my address from mailing list, just removed my name, asked again, ignored, asked again, ignored... If this is how you treat potential customers wishes, I dread to think...

Ordered for my mum because she has no internet and paid using my bank card, after the order was delivered she was then phoned to ask her to sign up to a super card, which she did, I then had a payment for this card taken out of my bank account which i did'nt know about. or give permission for it to be taken. When I rang to query this because the Easylife account was in my mum's name, but the money was taken from my bank account, they would not cancel it. E-mails written returned, my concern is easylife may take this payment again when it's due for renewal. IF you order something make sure you don't get signed up for something else you don't want costing you even more . If it's not a phone call concerning the delivery of your order, put the phone down.

Signed my 88 year old mother up for Perx membership without her permission. £18.50 per month is being robbed out of her account each month. Don't touch them with a barge pole. The catalogue appeals to old people who know nothing about being conned. Be warned.

Agree 100% with the previous reviews, taking advantage of people and trying to charge them for things they won't use/don't know they have signed up for. Product itself arrived late, was notified it was dispatched, then it went missed, then it was dispatched again and eventually it arrived but I could have got it more quickly from a much more ethical retailer. AVOID.

I couldn’t agree more with the comments about how despicable this company is. My 89 year old mum has had multiple payments taken from her credit card without her authorisation after a cold call where she said she wasn’t interested in buying anything. Utterly despicable and illegal practices. They ought to be closed down. I have reported to Citizens Advice who will advise Trading Standards. I would encourage others to do the same to stop this company cheating more people.

If I could leave a zero I would. I have been contacting them about and item that never arrived and the ups note said it was send back to sender. They have not been cooperating in returning my money back. It has been more than a week dealing with incompetent people that steal your money. Don’t trust them.

Wish I had read reviews before buying from them. The actual product (a shelf) is fine, but as soon as I ordered I started getting spam emails from all kinds of suspicious addresses purporting to be easy life and offering refunds. Your details will not be secure with this company. Do not use.

If i could give no stars i would, have just had a phone call trying to get me to sign up for a card of some description saying i would also get a £10 voucher to use, i said no. I also asked to be taken off their mailing list... the person talking to me suddenly said could i repeat what i said as he didn't hear it properly when trying to repeat i wanted to be taken off their customer listing the line went dead. There was nothing wrong with the telephone line.... i will not use this company again and talk to the bank to block this company from taking money out of my account.

Easylife is a really awful company. Their products are rubbish. The worst problem is they constantly bombard us with catalogues, paper adverts, phone calls etc. I have tried on numerous occasions to completely cancel them also to no effect although promises had been made. They are completely unscrupulous and an absolute nuisance.

Be very wary of this lot at Easylife, once your bank details are used to make a purchase the details get passed on to other departments of the firm and intimidatory demands are made for unwanted devices and products.

Same experience as many customers dealing with this pathetic shambles of a company with no knowledge of the word honest. Similar to many comments I bought face masks several months ago then three weeks ago received phone call from foreign speaking individual who I couldn’t understand who ended his pitch by saying details will be in the post.I received nothing. Two days ago bank statement showing £65.95 deducted from account for easy life. Immediate phone call to them resulted in being transferred to different people and getting no information from anyone apart from money was for a holiday club! As I knew nothing of this I said I wanted my money refunded and to cancel any further contact with company to which the guy said your bank will have to do it and have a nice day! This company needs closing down and whoever runs it banning from any further dealings with the public . Avoid at all costs or you will regret it !!

When I placed an order with your shopgoodideas your agent tried very hard so sell me some sort of subscription which I could use to save money on future purchases elsewhere which I firmly refused as I have done in the past when being pressed when talking to Easylife direct. I have heard from the Fraud Team at Nationwide Building Society today that some organisation associated with your company have given them notice that they will be charging my account when it should be clear that by doing so would be fraudulent, that has be stopped. I shall never knowingly do business with your company/group again and I shall pass that word around to anyone I meet. I will also be talking to the likes of the Trading Standards Office.

This company clearly hasno concern for data protection as they are seemingly refusing to remove my address from their database. I have never shopped here and certainly never would consider it after this. They will not stop sending brochures to my house addressed to the previous owner (averaging 3-4 each month) despite numerous requests via their website, email, social media and by sending the brochures back. After 6 months of sending the brochures back, I asked them to stop sending them to me in September and they told me they would stop after 30 days. After receiving more brochures over 30 days later I asked them to stop again, and they said wait 30 more days, and repeat the next month - we are now into January and another has arrived. The sheer quantity of these brochures (all of which look exactly the same) is ridiculous and each one is covered in a plastic sheet - what a lovely way to destroy the environment. It's a never ending cycle, but from reading the experiences of others on their Facebook page, I can't say I'm too surprised at what is happening. I'm not sure what more I can do to make them take this seriously other than start letting others know to stay away, and I recommend you take a look at the comments on their Facebook page if you're unconvinced.

I ordered products from them earlier this year. They eventually arrived. The debit was taken. I was then sent a refund, which I queried by email. Following a marketing call I find they have taken 1.99 from my account. Not received the Awards information promised. Now find the have taken the amount refunded. How can I sever my contact with these incompetent people.

What an absolutely disgusting Co - phone up people asking them to join Reward Club and when told NO, they send letters out saying their trial period has ended and they will be taking a payment out of their account - when calling you get told its not them and need to speak to another Dept and to send e-mail, given the wrong e-mail address and told to send to another Dept so that I can have all my details removed from their Data Base.
