Bought a couple of plug in heaters from them, like you would from Amazon. 3 months later I have a charge on my card for £18.50. I was absolutely furious. When I rang them they told me it was for some annual membership to their club. I told them that I didn't agree to sign up to their stupid tufty club and what they done was fraud. To be fair, they did refund me straight away. But even so, I could have missed seeing that charge on my card and they could have got away with it.

Just found similar problems as everyone else on this page on my 92 year old mums bank account. In total they have taken £185 in amounts of £18.50 since July 23, sometimes twice a month. When I eventually got through they said this was for a subscription, for what I still do not understand. Sadly my mum has the start of dementia and does not know anything about this. Luckily I now have POA and her bank have been extremely helpful and put a stop on these recurring card debits. She used to order things from this company but not for a long time so they have kept her bank details and tricked her somehow into subscribing to this mystery thing. She doesn’t receive anything, so I’m still totally in the dark about this subscription. How dare they, when their easy life catalogue is aimed at the elderly in the first place. I have told them we have stopped any future payments and that we are expecting a full refund. Any buyers looking at easy life beware, they will rob you after your initial purchase

Easylife seem to be a scam outfit. I can’t seem to find a place to put a review on their website so I’ll put it on here. As a partially deaf person I feel I was duped into joining subscriptions. I never got to the bottom of it but my bank managed to recover around £200 of money which I regard as stolen. I did not realise that they were taking regular unauthorised amounts on my credit card without my authority. Seems to have been going on for a few years. I’m 92 years and didn’t realise until my daughter looked into it. Looking at other reviews, it appears they target the vulnerable. Don’t use this rogue company is my advice.

My mother is 92 years old and confused. This company has set her up with some sort of subscription on her credit card and has been charging her for nothing. She doesn’t do subscriptions for anything, not even broadband. She is incredibly upset and it’s taking us a lot to try and work out what has happened. Total scammers. Avoid like the plague.

My 90 year old mother ordered goods from this company. Waited ages for the goods. Wrong goods sent. I telephoned for advice on returns. This was a bulky item and what they DO NOT tell you is that the customer pays for return postage. Even though the company sent wrong items. I spoke to a dreadful rude man called TARIQ. He was trying to blame my mother for ordering the wrong item The invoice clearly has the correct item that was ordered and the item enclosed was clearly something different. He just kept talking over me in broken English and clearly had no customer service training whatsoever. All my mother wanted was the item she ordered but he was having none of it. He then proceeded to hang up on me. Hopefully these calls are recorded I rang 20.11.2023.This company's goods are aimed at elderly people and they are taking advantage for sure AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. And please employ poeple who know what they are doing TARIQ needs to go. Terrible rude man. Returns process very complicated. Never again will I or my mother will be buying a thing and I will be cascading this to anyone I know. It's criminal the way you treat your customers and reading other reviews I'm surprised your still in business.

My Mother age 97 has had at least £450 taken from her credit card account by this company. I have written to them numerous times to ask for a copy of the documents they supplied to her one with her signature plus a copy of what was provided to her under consumer protection regulation and data protection. They have not answered my queries but have refunded some money. Two amounts were taken out of her account of £74.95 in June 2023 and then in September 2023 (at this time she was seriously ill in hospital) otherwise they have taken £18.50 per month and some months three payments and two payments. I am pursuing this matter with the credit card company and if necessary I will issue against them through the county court as this maybe the only way to force them to provide information. I find it unbelievable that they cannot answer three simple queries as they need to keep records for six years and how difficult is it to give me a print out of what has been taken out of my Mother's account and what the amounts are for. On researching this company I noted they have been find for breaching data protection. They have been using information on elderly people to profile them and then use this information to cold call them.

This Company is awful, I had someone ring me one evening out of the blue, I have only ever purchased from them once years ago, this caller said he had some special offers for me to join some clubs, one was for puzzle books, another was a motor club and can’t remember the third one, I told him I was not interested and would not take out anything over the phone, he said he would send me something in the post and I could decide if I would like to go ahead, I basically wanted to get off the phone and left it there, I got a couple of letters and a puzzle book in the post. It said if I was not interested to contact them before the 18th of this month, I rang up a week ago and said could they please cancel everything they had in my name, the lady I spoke to said she would do so. I believed this would be the end of it, but no this morning I checked my bank account and three payments had been taken out totalling £198.00, I was fuming, I rang up Easylife and spoke to a Foreign gentleman, I said I want my money returned straight away as I haven’t given them the authority to take it, I did get really annoyed when he said it was a system error, how are they allowed to keep your bank details after several years when I did purchase from them, this is criminal as far as I am concerned, I rang up my bank straight after my call to inform them too, to make sure they don’t try taking out anything else. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE AVOIDED TOTAL SCAMMERS.

I ordered a step ladder for my husband, before I new it 2 days later £32.99 was taken from my account from the rewards club to do with Easylife without my permission. I was so angry I called them straight away. I have had loads of calls from them each time saying not interested but it falls on deaf ears & you get charged anyway. Absolutely disgusted with Easylife. Save to say I will not be ordering from them again. Very very Angry customer

My elderly neighbour recieved 8 books today from a rewards club that he did not sign up for. After investigating the source it was discovered to be Easy life.He had made a purchase over the phone a few weeks ago for a household item, and given them his card details. He phoned Easylife and told them to remove his name from their mailing list and to refund his money for the books he did not request. He gave his deatails and the lady he spoke to said they would call him back in 48 hrs and hung up on him.He then went to his bank with all the paperwork and asked them to cancell any further payments they might take.He has been an easy life customer for some time,so he found this hard to understand.I will speak to them on his behalf if the don’t call him back in 48 hrs.Action Fraud have been notified. He is keeping the books until they either send a courier or a prepaid label to return them.Easy life have lost a customer today and I am advising the elderly community that he lives in to never buy from this company again

SCAMMERS !!! They call vulnerable pensioners and convince them that they have a wonder cure for all of their ailments. Before you know it they've scammed them of hundreds of pounds. Contacted the bank fraud line to stop the payments thankfully but they just move on to the next victim. Despicable company. Reporting them to Trading Standards.

As I read in other reviews it seems you buy something from this company and then it seems like a piece of tape stuck to your fingers you just can’t shake them off . A call every few months well over a year from my purchase . Don’t say who they are at first , Well-being nonsense , I ask is that Easylife , yes ! Stop annoying me for gods sake . I can see how elderly foke get entangled in this .

If I could give them no stars I would. They are a scam. Disgusting company preying on the elderly population. Parents made one purchase and ever since they have been called and without their understanding signed up for a rewards club. Unbeknown to them money taken out of their account. It happened several times. Although I have made many phone calls and emails they still cleverly reinstate the membership. I have called bank to stop payments and are in the process of trying to recoup the money. Bank thought it was disgusting . Absolutely dreadful. Stay well away !
