Do not have anything to do with this company. I have found out that my elderly mother has had money taken for a subscription magazine she knew nothing about or even received. I spoke with them today and was shocked at the abusive tone of their staff and their lack of competence to work in a call centre. I will be taking this further it is disgusting that a company can scam elderly people out of their money

This company has been scamming my mother (she is 92!) by taking small amounts from her account over the last 2 months. Finally came to a head today when Tesco refused her card!! Thankfully her bank had noticed weird charges and put a stop on it! I don't know HOW they got my mum's debit card details but its now STOPPED. Beware this company. Customer service operator tried to get more information out of me and then when I refused, he "transferred" me to someone else and I was cut off. Operator didn't sound local!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

They have made me very unhappy. They handed over my bank details to another company without my permission. This other company then tried to take £76.99 out of my bank account. Luckily the bank intercepted and blocked the payment. Do not have anything to do with this company. It is now in the hands of the banks fraud department. Easylife takes advantage of vulnerable older people. Avoid at all costs

I experienced numerous unsuccessful withdrawal attempts over the course of several months. Despite reaching out to customer support multiple times through email, I did not receive any replies. Upon discovering that I had fallen victim to a scam and lost my funds, I felt anxious. Thankfully, A M D A R K L i M I T E D * C0M assisted me in reclaiming my investment from the scammers.

Total scam. Do not have any dealings with this company. One item bought which was returned for a refund. Then they stole money from my mothers account on a regular basis, for a so called subscription she had no knowledge of. How are these peope allowed to still operate?

Do not deal with this company. I have shared the same experience as mentioned below and am furious that my details, including credit card, have been shared with other unscrupulous companies. When you purchase online with Easylife, the (very) small print states that by providing your details you are allowing Easylife to share with various associated companies. I consider this extremely underhand way of operating.

These people are filth. I was sorting out my recently deceased father's bank statements and noticed a weekly debit of £18.50 from Easylife, for absolutely no apparent reason other than the privilege of receiving their catalogue. Easylife prey on the elderly and vulnerable; avoid like the plague.

Total scam. It seems this “company” have been operating for several years and I can’t understand how it hasn’t all been closed down. By some magical means when you buy something you have apparently signed up to a mythical subscription, in my mum’s case for £18.50 a month on her credit card. We are not sure how long this has been going on for but I noticed 3 charges of £18.50 in a 3 week period on her monthly statement. I rang on their 0800 number ( for orders NOT their recommended number at “local” rate) but after explaining why I was making the phone call the answers seemed odd and made me very suspicious. There was no real explanation of what she might have bought, more all along the lines of elderly and vulnerable people often sign up to subscriptions but forget they have done it. Subscription to what and for what, well who knows? Let’s call it an imaginary product. The man I was speaking to said that all future subscription payments would be cancelled but when I requested that he sent a confirmation email he refused and said I had his word instead!!! I requested an email address so that I could send him a record of the conversation. Guess what? The email he supplied didn’t work. I rang the credit card company who said they would investigate. They were very familiar with Easylife and have stopped any future payments to them. I’m surprised since Easylife are so well known as a scam that they can continue to advertise and that credit cards and banks don’t automatically block repeated payments and check with customers first. I would appreciate if anyone can suggest a way to make an impact here and try to stop these fraudsters. I would be grateful to hear of any pointers as to what action we can take to retrieve funds and put a stop to this to prevent future victims.

My mum had over £3000 taken out of her account over 2 years. When I phoned asking why all these amounts were being taken out by Visa card. They said she had joined the promotion scheme 10 all together plus a film club ! I do not know how this company live with them selves deceiving older people. Once I told them her solicitor was looking into why these amounts were going out of her account even though she was in a nursing home they repaid a lot of the money but only if you have the time to go through endless bank statements and prove the amount and dates. Some days they took £69.50 three times in one day. £18.50. £24.99 regular as clock work. Shocking company. I wonder how much in total they have deceived vulnerable lonely people out of.

This company has been taking money out of an elderly friends account for months. She has no knowledge of any agreement with them and can’t afford to pay. They are despicable. I don’t know how they live with themselves
