horrible first time using. bought a bike for $259 and guy sent me a mask like it was the bike. eBay not giving my money back like they said and would coach prior agent. im out $279 thank you ebay no Christmas for my kids!

The new ebay is the worse site on line. They are now after your dollars through trickery and deceiving you with adding 5% to fees if they deemed you below some BS standard. Never ever Ebay.

Openly facilitates fraud. Sellers are scammed all the time and eBay dumps it on the seller. I have been with eBay for over 20 years, with over 500 pieces of positive feedbacks from real people. My recent experience drove me from eBay forever. Here is how I was scammed... this can be used to also scam eBay. Yup these are directions to scam eBay, just like they tried with me. How to scam eBay: 1. Find something you want that requires freight. 2. bid and win or buy it now... and then pay with a credit card 3. The next day, through eBay, click the box that you haven't received the item yet. *(Duh, its the next day... doesn't matter) 4. Don't communicate with anyone! 5. When the item arrives on the truck because it's freight. Sign off with an "X" or another name than your own... just use your name and make it really hard to read. 6. Keep claiming you didn't get the item, even though you did! eBay will contact the seller for more info and all that... you just do nothing. 7. eBay will refund your money and try to collect the money from the seller. 8. Done you just got something delivered to your house or business that cost thousands of dollars for free. 9. eBay will spend all their time and effort going after the seller that never shipped the item. 10. Done!

Ive been with ebay for 17 years with a 100% score of 3430 as a buyer and seller,an item was bid on at the start of novemeber which was a collection in person only(as in listing) it was bid on by an absolute player who then said he would send a courier which i declined(if i had adequate packaging and a box big enough i would have offered postage myself which i did not hence collection in person only) order then cancelled and refunded yet the buyer left me negative feedback and ebay are unwilling to help-THEY OBVIOUSLY DO NOT RESPECT OR GIVE A DAM ABOUT LOYAL CUSTOMERS AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS ARE USELESS AND RIDICULOUS AS THEY ARE ALWAYS READING FROM A SCRIPT AND DO NOT WANT TO HELP WITH UNJUST DAMAGING FEEDBACK

Someone gave me a bad feedback for refusing to deal with them outside ebay. But ebay doesn't remove this feedback. My rating from1 00 percent dropped to 97. All years of being an honest user on ebay is not actually appreciated by ebay. I am deeply hurt. I just removed all my items for sale and with use other sites instead. Very bad customer service this is.

Don't bother with eBay. There are other platforms that are MUCH more customer friendly. Signed up to sell on eBay, setup my account, and it was suspended before I could do any business (this was a personal account). eBay would not tell me why it was suspended and would not reinstate my account. Terrible customer service - DO NOT BOTHER with eBay!

EBay is charging sellers too much money, dont use them. Sell your items on Gumtree!!

The customer service is horrible they read from a script when you ask them a question and never resolve the issue they keep saying all it’ll be reviewed in two days and that never happens .you ask to speak to a supervisor or manager and you’re not allowed to .I’ve been selling on here for 10 years I’m about fed up with it. and have 100% feedback as a seller. I listed crest white strips and their system flagged it as a prescription drug and froze my account for a week absolutely ridiculous. Yes they’re a big company but they should still care about their sellers and customers.Customer service is a joke.

If an issue, all they have are articles to read, no human being to resolve matters. Seller's return address on package is domestic, but must return to an international address at far higher cost. NO obvious way to contact seller. I will never buy on e-bay again. Absolutely no human resolution of issues. Not good!

joined ebay 3 months ago, sold 50 items with positive reviews, told me to send my ID which i did, after 7 days i got in contact and they said they didnt get my ID, then went back on chat and they said they actually did receive it. Then they put me through to another rep called Nidhi, she must have had a bad day and wrote some complete rubbish - ''Sometimes we find that eBay isn't the right venue for you. We understand that the move from PayPal to eBay Managed Payments was a big one, and we asked for information and action from you that we had never needed before. To allow time to provide the information and for you to decide if this was the best platform for you, we sent reminders so we could get your account set-up completed'' what does this waffle even mean? they just write what they want, a very corrupt company and wont buy from there again.

Customer services are so inept...6 transfers to people who claim to be able to sort my issue out today. Ended up with the first advisor....who was clueless... Closing account...I know they won't be bothered...but hey....avoid eBay at all costs

I bought an item a few months ago but was given used tape instead. I contacted ebay asking for help. I made my claim on a thursday. Forgot they don't work on the weekends so I had made another appeal by mistake, then contacted them on monday, not realising that monday was only the second day. Therefore my account had been banned. I am now trying to make a formal complaint as I believe the situation wasn't handled properly but they won't let me. I contact them personally and they turn me away.

I have been an Ebay customer since 2007 - nearly 15 years now, but they have become such a horrible, horrible company to deal with. They have stolen nearly £175 from my bank account for fees which were not owed, yet they refuse to listen to me or resolve the issue. Trying to appeal and have the money refunded is like talking to a brick wall. They are only concerned about making as much money as possible and they do not care about their long-term sellers at all. I will no longer use Ebay to sell anything and I advise others to use alternative platforms which are free to sell on, such as Gumtree, Etsy or Facebook Marketplace.

If you are a seller and have an issue with a buyer, ebay will back the buyer 100% regardless of the circumstances. I have been trying to resolve a return/ refund dispute with a buyer and every message I have sent to ebay has been ignored. I sent the buyer a return postage label, which they did not use. Still ebay refunded the buyer, closed the case & my appeal. Horrible company!

Totally useless business model! I can't even buy anything from Ebay, they reject me as their customer. I've never seen a business that doesn't allow to buy their products. I hope they will get bankrupt soon. The worst company I've ever known !!!

Ebay is not even for 0*. The worst of the worst. I HAD EBAY ACCOUNT SINCE 2015 buying once a while and all the sudden they suspended my account when I contacted them told me because I had to many return. I Think that ebay has option to return and I barely shop ebay bc as a costumer service they are one of the worst. I had 2 or three items didn't even receive them and tracking showed in transit but time frame ended long time of course I would want my money back if there is no product. Maybe I had 4 or 5 item as not described and 2 not received in 6 years since I have account with them. And they still suspended my account. Ebay is THE WORST AND BARELY RECEIVE ITEM AS DESCRIBED AND NO ONE IS HELPING YOU. IF ITEM IS NOT AS DESCRIBED THAN YOU SHOULD SUSPENDED SELLER ACCOUNT NOT THE BUYER. BUT THEY DONT SUSPENDED SELLER BECAUSE EBAY ALSO MAKES MONEY WHEN SELLER HAS A SALE, EBAY DOES NOT MAKE MONEY WHEN I OR ANY OF US PURCHASE THATS WHY IS BETTER SUSPENDED ME THAN SELLER EBAY DON'T WANT TO LOSE MONEY. EBAY IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST THING IS THE PLANET. GOD BLESS AMAZON AND THEIR COSTUMES SERVICE.
