I ordered 2 oz of Teff grain from a seller by the name nobeanstonight (should have known better) on or about February 14, and have not recieved the grain and have not recieved help or a refund from either ebay or the seller. I can't message the seller anymore, paypal has no record of the purchase though it shows in my bank account. Some would say, "it's only eight dollars!" But it's my eight dollars. I will not be doing business with Ebay in the future. Sticking with AMAZON, whom I've never had this problem with.

Are you a honest and just a regular privat seller? Stay away from e-bay, you have been warned. E-bays rules are so biased and harsh, you will end up loosing both the money and the item you sold. Ebay rules for sellers are scamers paradise. I got ripped off my coat, my money and my time. There are unscrupulous buyer who open a claim directly with eBay, like in my case, who it issues an automatic refund without any evidence from me being considered. I wrote dozens of emails to ebay customer service, prove the fraud, but nothing happens. The buyer is under ebays lavish "buyers protection" and she knows that.

I was scammed on shipping address and thus my camera did not got to actual buyer. It appears I am out $950! eBay cannot do anything about it according to ebay phone person. As a result I will be cancelling my eBay account once the issue is settled. Please beware of address scams if you are selling an item on ebay.

eBay encourages customers to leave feedback so it'll be a safer community. But what sellers can do is just call eBay and ask the negative and neutral feedback to be removed. Just how the seller @wisconsinvintage312 did. What's the point? They just want the money.

They don’t back the buyer seller sent something saying it was ups but had no ups letter. Called eBay when I found out ups couldn’t find my package stayed I had tried to reach seller but had gotten pretty flakey responses asked eBay to look into it for seller should tell them what happened if seller wouldn’t respond to me. eBay said they don’t do that. I won’t shop with them again because of it

I’ve always had quite a neutral opinion on eBay. Today, however, I filed a complaint about a purchased item that was removed from my orders. Not an hour had gone by before I got emails from both eBay and PayPal saying the full amount including postage were being refunded back into my account. I am so impressed with the service.

eBay apparently don’t like allow people to ask for money outside of there site, but when pointed out a buyer was asking me to send them money. This was ignored and I was told I should try to resolve the issue with them directly

I did not sell anything on eBay until last month. I have three pairs of high quality bookshelf speakers. All of them work perfectly. Since I want to downgrade my house to a smaller one, I decided to sell one pair of these speakers on eBay. Before I put them on eBay, I tested all of them. They sound in excellent condition. When they were sold, I packed them in the original factory packing materials to protect them. Several days later after the buyer got my speakers, he emailed me for return request and claimed my speakers did not work properly. I turn it down because I stated it clearly on eBay “NO RETURN”. Then eBay notified me that I should fully refund the buyer, otherwise, eBay would draw the money from my Paypal account to do the refund. I called eBay manager about my story that my speakers were in excellent condition when I shipped them. The buyer then sent me a photo that showed the disassembled speaks. I told eBay his disassembly made it impossible for me to accept his return. eBay manager insisted that I should fully refund the buyer no matter what. I asked him what protection eBay sellers got when we have this case. The manager replied: the sellers do not have any protections from eBay. If buyers ask return, sellers have to take the return and refund the purchase price including shipping fee. Finally, eBay drew the fund from my Paypal account without my permission. The seller got the full refund, plus kept my speakers. eBay thinks it makes money from buyers not from sellers. So eBay tries to do everything to please buyers on sellers’ expenses. I am very suspicious that the buyer replaced my good speakers with his damaged ones. Then claimed they are not working, wanted to return. One of eBay customer service people suggested me if I want to protection I should fully refund the buyer and have the buyer keep my speaker. In this way I can have a good rating. That is ridiculous to me. I lost my pair of speakers, lost $100 shipping fee. Now I have to have the buyer keep my speakers for a good rating. That is eBay protection for sellers? Before you want to sell anything on eBay, think twice. 1) There is no protection for you if the buyer wants to return no matter what condition your item suffered: he abused it, or damaged it, you have to refund fully. 2) If you think eBay can help you to solve the problem like this, you are wrong. eBay just draws money from your paypal account without your permission. Again, you have no protection from eBay. I am thinking if this is the case, why eBay has a NO RETURN tag for seller to use? What is the point from eBay? The only thing I can do is to close my eBay account and Paypal account. I will not do any business with people who treat me unfairly, or make money from me and come back to bite my hand that feed it kindly.

Can’t believe it has good reviews here judging by other site reviews and my experience. Been pursuing a refund for a broken product- had to make 3 phone calls as no e mail option! Told adviser wanted to complain and she couldn’t care less. This experience has totally put me off ebay

Created an account one morning. Didn’t have a chance to log in and place a bid on an item I was interested in. Later that day I received a notice say that my account was indefinitely suspended for suspicious activity and I was no longer allowed to use eBay ever again. I never even logged into the account after creating it. No explanation why and cannot get ahold of customer service.

Ebay allows bullying to happen. Complained several times about a seller trying to bully me, and also seen feedback from others claiming same yet Ebay allow them to continue selling.

Yes, I HIGHLY agree that returns/refunds are VERY difficult to obtain. Ebay allows sellers a lot of rights, but it appears as though consumers have very little say and room (other than 1 hour) to change their minds if they want to cancel their purchased item. Ebay allows the consumer only one hour, but sometimes it can take a little bit longer to decide if you really should have made a purchase on such item. Once the hour passes by, the soul decision is left upon the seller if they choose to refund your money or not- even if you leave SEVERAL emails to the seller to CANCEL the transaction, the seller may portray as though they do not see the 'canceled email' and may proceed with your order anyway. Even if you call Ebay to let they know the issue, they will tell you that it "is up to the seller to refund your item or not" and they they possibly give you runaround. I will also say that Ebay's supervisors need to all be on the same page and also educated about their company's policies, otherwise, they will most likely tell you fifteen different things. I have dealt with Ebay since approximately 2008-2010 and I have just about decided to let Ebay loose for now. I can just shop Amazon, Wal-Mart, or other stores via online that allow easy refunds/returns and be happier!
