Has anyone else noticed how eBay are trying to dictate what your prices should be when selling? Auto re list an item up to 10 times, what they don't tell you is they lower the offer price you might consider by half! What the hell? I sell vintage items at a heavily reduced price, they cannot be any lower, but eBay goes into your account and lowers the price on auto re list. Also they have a little two click option after re listing an item, one to use 'auto pricing' and the other to say 'maybe next time'. How about NEVER! They are trying to screw sellers into the ground, giving dishonest buyers money back, basically helping people to steal from you. Daylight robbery eBay, you do not get to tell me how much my items should be sold for and nor do I want to give your thieving customers money back when they change their minds about what they bought or lie about an items condition, want a refund and to keep the item. People negative feedback because YOU won't pay their return postage! How can sellers afford to do that, unless they are huge companies? It is despicable! Buyers have to return goods to shops, they pay to drive back, park or take the bus etc... You buyers out there who expect everyone to owe you a living, role on you losing your job and having to make ends meet selling online...I hope you are treated like DOG DIRT! My advice to ALL sellers, do not partial refund EVER, this is a scam used by thieves. Also do not fully refund unless you receive an item back in the condition stated and make sure the buyer pays return postage. If we decent sellers do not stand up to these low life thieving buyers, eBay will never change their awful ways.

Just had an awful few weeks trying to use EBAY. I was targeted by scammers 4 times. Almost scammed out of a 4K camera system. Even selling minor goods such as a Gopro is a real hassle. EBAY side with buyers and punish sellers. Be warned the terms and conditions of selling there are very onerous and the market place is rammed with people playing the rules because they know ebay favours buyers and not sellers. If you dont take care you are very likely to loose money and loose items. If you use ebay make sure you are ultra diligent. Before you send any itmes take videos to prove anything works as I did thank god. Take pictures of the package at the post office and what you put in the parcel. Act as though you are certain you are about to be ripped off and then you should cover yourself but be very careful. I will never use ebay or paypal for anything ever again once this fiasco is over with. I have all the evidence too so if ebay want to dispute anything its all on record.

STOP the "rogue eBay employee" that is abusing his/her power by issuing "contradicting" & "bogus" policy violations that cripple my selling effort Account eBay ID is: exotic-classic-car-racecar-dreamcar-sale-luxury-gifts-for-men I am Greg Severin, a Disabled, 63 year old, Top Rated eBay Seller (for 8 years running) is being "Harassed" via my account being singled out by a rogue eBay employee that is issuing contradicting and bogus policy violation notices to me and then punishing me with crippling and unfounded Account Restrictions..All done by an unidentified eBay employee (with a grudge against me)... Last episode of this behavior was Oct 1 and Oct 21, 2019 documented eBay violation messages. I then, contacted an eBay employee who identified herself as "Ashley" (a good eBay employee) who was trying to help me with this harassment problem of unfounded and unfair account violation notices. "Ashley" requested a review on my behalf (see eBay internal message documentation threads eBay SR #1-232175791160 and eBay SR# 1-232181694086 message threads). "Ashley" was unable to help me or identify this "rogue eBay employee" that is abusing his/her power by issuing "contradicting" & "bogus" policy violations that cripple my selling effort. JUST ONE EXAMPLE: the bogus and harassing violation notice statied: "formula 1" cars cannot be listed in "contemporary die cast car" category...Find Attached to this complaint: A screen shot of eBay “search” for: "formula" cars in the "contemporary die cast car category" which documents a total of: 3,592 "formula" listings (listed for sale in eBay's "contemporary die cast car" category)...SHAME ON EBAY FOR NOT PROTECTING A 63 years old, disabled, TOP RATED SELLER FROM THIS ROGUE EBAY EMPLOYEE WITH A GRUDGE AGAINST ME!!! I request eBay to: Find, Stop and Discipline the unidentified, rogue, employee behind this abuse of power by the "harassment I have experienced" by being singled-out has been issuing "bogus and contradicting" violations and account restrictions and protect me as an eight year top rated eBay seller. Also, a written eBay apology and an assurance from eBay that this harassment will NOT happen again...would also be appropriate... As a disabled, 63 year old...Selling off (liquidating) this model car collection is my only source of income...Please HELP me stop this harassment and find the unidentified eBay employee responsible.

As a seller, the WOOOOOORST. First, the user interface and experience is like being sucked back to 1999. Then, if you're a seller, the cut that ebay takes is crazy. They say 10.9%, but they actually take a cut from the whole value, including postage. So if you sell a pair of shoes for $10, and there's $15 postage on top, then you're charged 10.9% of $25. Ie $2.70 fee goes to ebay. That turns into a 27% cut to ebay on the money you're ACTUALLY making. So you make a measly $7.30 from a pair of shoes. Hardly worth the effort in my opinion! So. Much. Greed.

I just want to share my selling experience with ebay. There are a lot of hidden fees involve in selling on ebay. Please be aware before you list any items. ebay will charge the final value fees (10% of the sold value), paypal will also charge fees between 5to 10%. There are also other insertion fees. It's not worth it to use ebay and paypal.

My first selling experience using this service has been a real eye opener. First time seller meets first time buyer. Seems Ebay has zero responsibility to verify that new customer's account information provided is actually correct. Their name , mailing information, etc. ex. goes completely unchecked. They can make a purchase & then claim they never received it because the postal code is wrong in their account. The buyer has zero responsibility ensuring the proper info has been entered into their account by them. The onus is on the seller to provide tracking info when the item is sent even though that may not be feasible fiscally, though, & even though the mailing address is bogus, you, the seller must prove it was at least set to that wrong address, or a refund is due to the person who has plainly committed fraud. It is, however, not Ebay's responsibility to actually ensure the person's validity when opening an account on their site, which they exact all kinds of charges to use. lol What hypocritical baloney & sheer utter nonsense. Can't believe anybody still sells on this sorry excuse for a system.

Billions And Trillions, Inc.; Unbelievable. This guy Frank is a nasty human being. I have been patiently waiting...going on 7 weeks now for chrome head light bezels for my classic car. When I place the order on September 4th I was initially told I would for sure have them by the end, to just be patient. I did a follow up call on October 4th in hope to get a tracking number. I was told they were backed up, give him a week, and that I need to be patient. Called back on October 9th to get an idea when I would get them, and this guy went of the wall, didn't let me talk and he decided to give me a refund and hung up on me. He called back and apologized, said he would make good on this, to call him next week. He kept say over and over again on how he has a 5 star rating on ebay...and that there was a reason for that, bla, bla. bla, bla. Call on October 14th, now he's selling me more BS, telling me the chrome tank has been down, they finally have it working. He had one bezel completed and asked me to call him back on Thursday, October 17th which I did... This guy is... wow, off the wall screaming, cursing, told me to go "F" myself...I didn't say a word till he was finished, I reminded him he asked me to call him today and just asked him for a fund. Let's see how long it takes for my money back.

The worst experience. Ordered an automotive part 205905341480. Seller stated 3 day delivery in their ad. The money was debited from my account. It's been almost two weeks. I don't have the part and I'll have to fight to get my money back. I am told I'll have to wait 2 -3 hours to hear from a supervisor. Any other company would be out of business tomorrow. If you care about your money don't shop here

Ebay has to be the worse website I have ever used. I set up an ebay account and it was immediately suspended. I was asked to provide ID and proof of address to lift the suspension. After doing so, ebay stated I am indefinitely suspended. However, I had not traded or committed any offence. The fact that it was stated after ID check makes me feel discriminated against. Ebay will not explain why this has happened and subsequently refuse to engage with me.

I made a purchase on July 7th 2019 it arrives July 9th 2019 it was a Cuisinart electric frying pan the Teflon coating non-stick coating started to bubble underneath I contacted the seller July 26th to return it after getting the return label printed out I took it to the UPS drop-off on August 4th and since then I've contacted the seller five times they will not return my email, candid cow. I contacted eBay today October 9th to get them involved it's been 2 months since I sent the item back they said they can't do anything contact PayPal. So eBay is trying to make customers use their personal credit card and not use PayPal so if you do this you are not covered they only cover the first 30 days then after that if you don't do a return claim within 30 days of the item being received you are SOL that is terrible. I thought eBay had money back guarantee this is false advertisement and blatant fraud. So don't buy anything off eBay unless you can pay for it through eBay!

Complete scam. Only good if you are a scumbag and want to buy things from sellers, keep the merchandise, and get a full refund with interest (charged back to the seller). I called their customer service (overseas line of course) and was stonewalled by a condescending and completely useless agent who acknowledged the scam and said better luck next time. Never again.

Bid retracted by buyer after clearly competing with another Ebayer. Ebay contacted. Raised investigation. No outcome. No safeguards. If a buyer bids they should be duty bound to pay. E bay is way too expensive now. My advice. Use Facebook marketplace. E bay sucks a ss
