Ebay is a horrible buying site. I've ordered products multiple times and have had issues everytime! The sellers on ebay are a joke. Sell junk & dont stand behind their products. Ive been fighting for almost 2 weeks to get a refund and when I checked the status today it says my case is closed and I did not get a refund! I have deleted the ebay app & will NEVER order from here again.

Horrible costumer service I've had a problem with one of my purchases for months now and eBay was quick to answer my first few mails, but when it looked liked it wasn't something that could be easily solved they've completely stopped replying to me, which is, ironically, one of the same problems I had with the buyer and was trying to fix. It's been over a month now ansd I've sent 4 emails with no answer despite their 48hr reply back policy. Simply awful.

ebay scammed me sent me wrong product dirty unsanitary during covid refused refund wont communicate with me now ignoring emails cant call first and LAST experience!!!

I must agree with earlier posts. Ebay´s customer support was excellent (5 stars) until 1-2 years ago, especially the phone support. Nowadays, the phone numbers are all gone, and Ebay only offers chatbots as customer support. For example. I recently got scammed by one seller, so I tried to get help from Ebay to solve the issue. The phone numbers where no longer in use, so I tried email and chat. But, Ebay did nothing, and the chatbots could not assist in anyway. So, I paid 300 dollars for a product, and proof that that the package never arrived to my address (package tracking history). But still, Ebay did not ban the seller, nor "step in" as they did before. This is positive news for the competitors! :) Ebay´s dominance is definitely going to end soon. Consumers always wins in the end! :)

Got scammed from a fraud in China. He emailed me daily harassing me. EBAY DID NOTHING. FIRST AND LAST TIME BUYING FROM THEM THEY WORK FOR THE SELLERS AND DON'T CARE ABOUT THE BUYERS AT ALL

I have been on ebay since 1999. I believe that was only a couple of years into their existence. It wasn't perfect but it was generally user friendly. In the last 2 years all of that has changed. Different culture altogether - no service, lack of communication prior to systemic changes, dishonesty in consumer relations. Latest: A "reference number" on an online issue sent to higher levels for resolution, two days later, turns out to be the conversation id for the phone call! I suppose that it gets the seller off of the line without actually addressing, nor caring to address, the issue but why bother to have a help line? Many issues, many calls and NONE have resulted in any action. Dismissive of the people that make the system work - sellers and buyers - corporate America, isn't it great? I have made my last purchase on ebay and selling will also be in the rear view mirror. There are other better platforms

If instead of going to jail for breaking into someone’s house or robbing them because you want something just buy it on eBay and take it out of package they will side only with buyer so you will get your. Money back and whatever you want no matter what evidence buyer has your going to get a refund and your desired item period

It's been 90 days of trying to sell on eBay and 99.99 of the bids and sales are from corrupted or "unauthorized" user accounts or they are all fake, scammers, or hackers, they try to use PayPal and send fake emails. Also ebay takes hundreds of dollars in fees and cancelation fees even if you had to cancel due to fraudulent activity. Ebay should be shut down immediately and stop stealing people's hard earned money!!!

From today i leave ebay (BUYER FOR MORE… From today i leave ebay (BUYER FOR MORE THAN 6yrs) because they just told me i was not a good buyer because i was not folowing their policy. In the past years (3yrs back) i had fewer problems with ebay because 3/10 packages were missing or delay and i didn't even want to take refund or email the sellers. The past 2 years, i was 7/10 packages missing or dellay and when i mean dellay 6or more months. And a lot of them was bad quality, not as subscribe and a lot of mistakes were made or even damaged! Instead of giving a new policy for the buyers because we loose our money for scammers they ban the buyers for buying. I am not going to buy again because they change the policy good for sellers to sell more junk and fake packages and buyers say "thanks" or banned! They told me i was doing report or refund/return request sooner than the old days and i told them the truth. I am not raiting generaly but i realy feel so bad for ebay because the buyers will leave in sometime. More than 1000€ all this time!

Absolutely worst place to shop online ever! Worst customer service I have ever experienced! I honestly thought the customer service rep I had was a little girl! They will allow foreign sellers to rip off American buyers. Then they do more to protect the sellers then they do the buyers. If you should have choose to ignore the millions of negative reviews about eBay and go there whatever you do do not buy from magicspa! It is a rip off foreign company they will rip you off.

Scammed on me with a seller and PayPal send me the wrong item AND it was dirty unsanitary opened a return closed without explanation now has cut off all communication with me. I'm reporting to the Federal consumer protection bureau I ordered a Cool Pad flip phone i was sent a dirty LG with assesories for a Coolpad

Ebay is not secure and i am always getting hacked into. I cant even cancel my ebay as someone changed my email address and phone number. Be very careful using Ebay as it easy to get hacked into and before you know it, you are selling 10 cars! Customer service is terrible and you cant speak to anyone! Not a safe website

Ebay is in SERIOUS NEED of a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. There is no longer any live help in customer service. And the automated system is completely boxed into a very narrow and usually unhelpful system. This amounts to FRAUD. Buyers and Sellers have a very big case developing. This FAKE disorganized company will soon go the way of SEARS. It is time to end this charade.

By far the worst and most incompetent service that I have ever experienced. Being a member in spending hundreds of thousands of dollars if not in the millions with buying and selling through them. They have falsely charged me for thousands of dollars to an bank account that was closed months before they continued to say that they deposited money and I an account that was not even opened and then charge me for the money that they needed to withdraw back out due to fraudulent charges that happened. I have never been so disappointed in a company and their customer service to neglect and not take responsibility for anything in my entire life. So sad hopefully people realize that there are other options out there because you guys have made the situation unbearable and unworkable due to a lack of morality

eBay is the worst, they suspended my account for no reason, I'm just a new customer who wanted to buy some computer parts for my new computer and sell my old parts to others. Should receive 0 start instead of 1.

Long story short. First time buyer, was permanently banned without an explanation. Contacting the customer service, I was only given pre-prepared responses but not any actual customer service. Oh, but I was getting vague accusations against my conduct and threats that if I would try to purchase anything in the future my accounts would again get suspended. I suspect there was a technical issue with the checkout, but it seems they have too much money to give a care.

If I could give Ebay less than one star I would. I have been a long time seller and even longer buyer. They have changed the way you get paid out for a sale. They are not going thru Paypal anymore where you would see the money from the transaction in your Paypal account immediately after a buyer paid. They are collecting the $ and supposed to be transferring the income from sales directly into your bank account. I had my first sale under their "Managed Payments" five days ago (the buyer paid the same day in the morning) and I still don't have the money from the transaction. If it shows up tomorrow, it will be six days since the transaction occurred. Totally unacceptable! Ebay is blaming my bank, mind you I can transfer funds from my Paypal account to my bank account and it's in there the next day. I'm not comfortable shipping an item without having received the payment, and now according to Ebay I'm late with shipping. Also, they are taking a larger share of the transaction, it previously was 10% now it's close to 14%. This is how greed works, they hold onto your money so they can draw some interest off of it and they charge you more for a sale. Bye Ebay!!!

Huge fees for sellers you better off deleting your account if you’re using eBay to sell is too expensive and most iff the products for sale is all rubbish. Go out and shop this useless I delete my account. Horror experience
