It is not so much a bad experience . The problem lies in ebays global shipping where packages are handed over to multiple carriers It never use to be that way . For one Intelcom Express Courier Service has the worst delivery service , the business is down right horrible and delivery service is never on an exact time ., a shady business A business that cares nothing about a persons package That's two days and my package hasn't been delivered yet from the dispatch centre in Surrey Ebay global shipping just doesn't get it and do not care about ones package They don't reply to messages through twitter as often , to me that's bad . Been a power seller and ebayer, since first quarter 1998. Ebay started as a great venue, but through the years it changed for the worse. Limiting access of help is their first mistake, second their lack of knowledge of ebay predators, and senseless process to capture of shutdown even when police are involved. They let it continue so they can steal fees, out of greed. Every decade they make it harder and harder to protect and get fees back, until they nickel and dime you with time and fees, then the constant language barrier from their out of country customer service. These people do not care whether some American halfway around the world get service or not. Wake up Ebay

This is a review based on being a seller for Ebay. I have been a seller on Ebay for about 2 years. I feel like Ebay helps more of the customer rather then helping both the seller and the customer. Many times I have come across problems such as packages not arriving and Ebay does very little for the seller even though the tracking number is there. If you become a seller be smart with where you ship your items. Always get insurance with your items otherwise you will lose money like I did and in turn can make working for Ebay dreadful. I started selling on Ebay for some side cash and although I am grateful I can't help but feel the customer gets special privileges while the seller gets left out in the cold. I feel improvement is needed if they want to match Amazon because Amazon is way better at helping both the seller and the buyer. Amazon might swallow Ebay at some point because Ebay is lacking many things.

EBay is very vague on their fees and the website is difficult to navigate. They don't give you any instructions. It's a good platform, but make sure you inform yourself well before using it. Which is difficult considering their horrible customer service. They know the platform is solidified so they do very little to optimize it.

Ebay is totally worthless. I have sold numerous items and never had one person ask for a refund. I have purchased numerous items and never asked for a refund. Buyer purchases item and my funds are on hold immediately????then as soon as they get it they ask for a refund saying not as described. I respond telling the buyer it is and ask for proof it’s an altered golf club (it’s not) no response. Ebay get’s involved for two minutes (literally) and just tells me i have to take the club back, pay them their fee and pay shipping both ways! Total BS......

Too many unreliable sellers. Resolution of problem takes too long. Ebay takes the money from account and it takes way long to return money to bank account when purchase is canceled on your favor making you lose other buying opportunities.

I am totally confused by the 1 pound selling fees, which never seem to be applied when I get my invoice! Now there may be a good reason for this so I try to find an explanation why the lower fess are not being applied by trying to get in touch with Ebay -FORGET IT- It's simply not possible to anyone by phone or email-absolute rubbish customer service. What the hells wrong nowadays, people just want to treat you like dirt and get your money with NO customer care!

I tried 5 orders, 5 times to purchase Vintage Original Diorella, but even though I specified that I wanted ONLY vintage Diorella, I paid for and received NOTHING that smelled like the Diorella from the 70's. One bottle had leaked all over inside the packaging. Just think this is not a reliable seller.

I had seen price gouging on almost every essential item and since I had 3 extra boxes of gloves and 3 disinfectant items I decided to put them on eBay ,well ebay gives a recommended price but I thought it was to high and I just wanted to get my cost back and help others save money so I priced it at below my cost and what happens next is what makes me mad. eBay removed my item and accused me of price gouging all while at the same time they have sellers selling same items at 500% over original cost. It bothers me cause I'm not a greedy person...

Ebay is changing everyday I have been a member for years even got a credit card from them besides when you place an order it has to go threw PayPal then you get charged threw your bank or credit/debit and if you have a problem eBay tells you to contact PayPal but PayPal don’t have any records of your purchase I can accept if you don’t check seller ratings you can waste time waiting to get your money back after seller didn’t send items but now with everything that is going on (COVID-19) Ebay has removed live reps and has instructed everyone to use there online computer which sometimes can be very frustrating I have decided to place my orders with company’s I can reach out and talk to a human like Walmart or amazon until things change I’m staying away

The item I ordered was not item shown on the seller provided photo. I tried to return it using eBay provided return label, but the item was returned by USPS. The seller refused to do anything to resolve the issue and there is no "ask eBay to step-in" link available anywhere for me to contact eBay. Again and again, eBay failed me. "Money back warranty" is a lie.

I recently made a purchase and the seller cancelled , a week later I still haven't received my refund. Contacted eBay through eBay and they requested I provide item number , transaction number and other information. The seller has not replied to my message either . eBay makes it extremely difficult to resolve issues through their help center as every case has it's differences .. Its basically a lesson learned on my part . I buy almost daily on eBay and this experience has me sourcing items from other platforms .

eBay asked me to pay for the returned item and said that the seller had the problem to provide the return label. eBay said that the seller is responsible for reimburse the return fee to me later. But, seller failed to do so and eBay closed the case. I filed the complaint for many times via different ways, but never got the response back from eBay. Ebay's "money back" warranty is a joke. For a couple of times disappointed by eBay, I'm walking away from eBay

EBay commits fraud. The delete REAL and honest negative reviews to help some of their sellers. They have a seller AAA_PCS that has had a few negative reviews, including mine, and the delete the reviews and claim that the review violates their policies but they don't and the won't even tell the writer why. Complete fraud

Ebay, after many years of so called site and seller improvements is still is miserable disappointment. Unlike Amazon, they still have not figured out ways to distribute visibility of seller listings with any equitable consistency. They have tried to propmote to sellers that if they stopped using text on listings, more photos of products, spent more money on sponsored listings, they would have better performance on the ebay site. But unfortunately, the only true factor is price. Tell me ebay, how does Amazon manage to list, promote and sell products that may be a bit more expensive but which might be more attractive to knowlegeable buyers in terms of quality, brand and other positives? The tie-dyed ebay management has for years relied on computer algorythyms that are outdated to do ALL the work for ebay while management shields themselves from basically all seller contact. It's a lousy platform for sellers and after years of constant worthless seasonal improvements, is known as a junk shoppers low price guarantee.

I usually always get my packages from eBay, but for some reason they have lost 2 of my packages and I haven’t got a refund yet. My other package was expected to arrive 3 days ago, and nothing has came so I imagine that package has been lost too. Hopefully they can better this because it gets annoying when your packages don’t arrive when they’re supposed to.

I have been a member of eBay about 20 years as a seller and buyer. I would say sadly that it seems like it has got worse. I have have had a couple experiences lately that some sellers have things for sale, but after making payment they no longer have the item, or on backorder. It's very hard to get your money back. I have had a buyer give me a tracking number and marked item as shipped. Post Office had no record of the tracking number. Also, they will keep moving the delivery date to later. When that day comes they move the dated again. I have had to contact my bank, and report them. If they don't have 100% approval rating, find someone else. I have not had much luck with eBay helping get your money back.

I'm very disappointed that they allow their sellers to post porn. My husband was looking for a radio for our car, but every time he tries to look for one he comes across pornographic images. He said they are very disturbing. Now he doesn't want to buy from them.
