If you plan to start your business account or just simply thinking of selling on ebay don't waste your time it is a nightmare selling on ebay. Ebay doesn't work with sellers it's all about getting scammed and ebay standing behind the scammers. They basically force you to comply with every demand the scammers wants. Not impressed with ebay one bit if you find or know of a second option go with it ebay is a thing of the past worst selling site period.

Ebay has become the worst site ever. There is no seller protection I am deleting my account after 15 years This 2020 has been the worst year. I have received bogus offers people bidding and not paying. What the Hell is wrong with people ??

Ebay is telling me I am Paid....still waiting for my money 6 days later...now I was told might take the bank another 3 days....with paypal i got my money right away.....I always ship item out the day i get paid....They say don't ship until you are paid....I am going to wait till i get my money ...Item will be shipped out late...Ebay is a MESS....you can't talk to anyone anymore.......Why....

Last time I listed with eBay I had an issue with the shipping. I set my listings up for "based on buyers location". However all my listings had shipping at a flat rate at $1.80. Ebay had to reimburse me for my out of pocket cost for shipping over $1.80 since it was a site issue. Fast forward and I am giving them another try. So I listed 17 baseball cards the other day and checked the box for "shipping details" as "Based on buyers location". Today I look and again all the listing have $1.80 flat rate for shipping yet when I look at all my listings it says "calculate" for shipping on my home page. So I called eBay customer service and was transferred from one rep to another rep without being told. The other rep says she would escalate this up seeing how it's happening again and that it would be resolved. I asked her if I would get a call back from someone higher up on four different occasions and she wouldn't answer. The fifth time I asked her she hung up on me. REALLY!!!!! When asked if I should delete my listings she said that yes I should. I have gout in both hands and eBay wants me to retype all this again. I'm sorry for giving eBay another try. Same problem a year ago with no fix from eBay.

I ordered an item from a seller that still hadn't arrived 8 days after the estimated delivery date. I contacted ebay about it and in about 20 minutes I received an e mail from ebay informing me that they had refunded me fully. With customer service like that I will proudly continue shopping with ebay.

Their eBay money back guarantee is a lie. Im out $500 after not receiving my package even though I jumped through all their hoops. In the end I received a message that I have been denied and absolutely no reason. Now I can't even contact a person. They are thieves and need to be shut down.

eBay looks after eBay, not it’s loyal sellers who’ve been around for 15 years. Refunding my money willy nilly to impatient, nasty, paranoid buyers who want the item for free because there have been the worst postal delays I’ve ever know due to covid lockdowns on top of the Xmas rush, and they’re too tight to pay extra for tracked mail. Those buyers get the refund which eBay bullies out of the seller, and get to keep my items when they arrive late too. Not fair when the problem is Royal Mail. I have proof of postage but they’re not interested. I’m going to Etsy and Facebook marketplace instead.

Selling on ebay - beware. You will be charged quite expensive fees and will never know that, because they dont talk about it other than somewhere deep in T&Cs. Good luck with that. No waiver possible.

Ebay is the worst seller platform among Amazon, Walmart, and others. A buyer recently committed swap fraud and eBay just issued full refund from our account. eBay denied our appeal even when we presented a police report and all the fulfillment images. eBay is a classic example of wanting all your money but taking no risk or responsibility. I can see eBay becomes the target of a class action lawsuit.

I received a lot of fake items, their service always assured me I am protected, always went through eBay to do the return, now apparently I am suspended and they can't disclose any information! This is the most horrible customer service, I used to spend a lot of money on eBay

Do not get attached to your account.... eBay will take it away on a whim and will not give you a chance to get it back. 15+ year seller, I've recently been selling books. After over a year my account got suspended. No reason why, no appeal process, nothing. I spent hours trying to get hold of someone to talk to; chat people just pasted standard wording concerning suspensions and immediately leave the chat. Noone would call back when requested via the contact form. I finally called Customer services in US. Also, wasn't interested in talking to me. Promised that a manager would call back twice - no contact. And just like that... eBay decided that selling books isn't allowed (for me anyway), suspended my account and ar4e not willing to review their decision. I tried to open a new account but it was immediately locked - apparently, I cannot ever use eBay again.... This is a joke. Blanket suspensions without the right to appeal should not be permitted.

Terrible customer service Which you can’t talk to nobody to resolve your problems Selling on eBay becomes a nightmare since they decided to hold your money for 3 weeks before they released it Plus the high fees Between eBay and PayPal fees there’s no money going to your pocket...,, Beware and save your time and money....

Any Time I have had to call customer service , nothing but excellent over the phone customer service, just one of the reasons I enjoy selling on ebay.

It is not so much a bad experience . The problem lies in ebays global shipping where packages are handed over to multiple carriers It never use to be that way . For one Intelcom Express Courier Service has the worst delivery service , the business is down right horrible and delivery service is never on an exact time ., a shady business A business that cares nothing about a persons package That's two days and my package hasn't been delivered yet from the dispatch centre in Surrey Ebay global shipping just doesn't get it and do not care about ones package They don't reply to messages through twitter as often , to me that's bad . I bought a short pant at $15.95 after selected "brand new with tag"; the pants are preowned ! Returning them cost 9.75, then I just wasted my money beign led in error by eBay. Finally, rating one star this experience is impossible, and you are noticed that your rating will be automatically 5 stars ! Silly pathetic.

There are scammers on eBay that eBay protects. Our daughter got money, real money stolen from her and the scammer had been a seller on eBay since 2007

Banned from Ebay for an unfair fee of £17.50 they refused to refund me. If you want fun, read the chat (third one) It was an item I cancelled 2 years ago, they still kept it update so someone tried to buy it, then has been refunded, but I was still supposed to pay the fees. Meanwhile, my account has been blocked, such as my linked Paypal account I cannot use anymore.

BEWARE eBay Sellers (Especially Coin Dealers): EBay recently sent notification to all customers to change their method of payment to their bank accounts instead of PayPal (which has been the standard for years). DON’T DO IT !!! Like a fool, I did what they instructed me to do (without notifying me if the ramifications). If you do, eBay will unilaterally & instantaneously delist all your selling items (even those in the middle of auctions with valid bids!) with NO warning to the sellers or buyers. And, even worse, if you change payments to your bank account, you cannot relist many items as the new payment option has many categories that eBay will no longer allow to be sold on their platform (eg, coins). All coin dealers must find a new auction platform to sell their items !
