I think I shall probably use this site again as it was a first time experience for me. Now that I am set up and have an account it seems very straightforward. However, I did get timed out as I had to put in so much information and I was not quick enough!

1) Product delivered to wrong address - requested re-collection - never happened. Had to pick up heavy item and take it home 2) Item developed a fault. manufacturer very helpful and said that ebuyer would do an advance replacement on quoting the Makers RMA number - ebuyer refused. Had to pay for a new machine and send the old one back for refund... Not a happy bunny!

I have found ebuyer good from the point of view that I have been able to find everything that I want on their site, and for reasonable prices. Unfortunately, I had two faulty items recently. Both were part of a new build for my son as a Christmas present. Most of Christmas day was spent trying to get this faulty equipment up and running. Obviously unsuccessfully. Very frustrating all round. One of the faulty items was a motherboard, the other was a graphics card. EBuyer handled the replacement and repair relatively efficiently, BUT STRICTLY by the book, and with no compasion whatsoever. It could have been easier and quicker, but to give them their dues, albeit grudgingly, they made no argument about the faulty items. I was sent a brand new motherboard, no problem. Once we had this back we then found that the graphics card (MSI GTX 960) was also faulty. HOWEVER, due to the graphics card being bought before Christmas, the subsequent delays due to the faulty motherboard and all the faffing about that went with getting that replaced, i was then outside the 28 day replacement clause on the card. This meant that I had to have the gr. card repaired and not replaced. I complained about this as I felt that it should have been replaced. Why should my son have to have a repaired item when it was not my fault that I was over the 28 days? EBUYER customer services were very polite, but totally unmoved and frankly sounded like a broken record. After speaking to a supervisor for about 20 minutes, I eventually got the message that EBUYER are really not that interested in good customer service if you have a problem. Yes they seem to sort it out, but as with many large organisations, couldn't really care less about really looking after the customer. After all, if I never use them again, then what loss is that to them? I spend very small amounts of money with them. Today, the 6th of March, my son finally has his Christmas present in working condition. Thanks EBUYER. You are of some use but I have to say, that I was really disappointed with the way you handled this problem.

It had an item that I could hardly find anywhere, and was around 25% cheaper elsewhere. The clearances drew me in, and allowed me to make extra purchases for things needed around the house, etc. Overall, not bad - not my first site to go to, but always worth a check.

FIrst page of registration was not totally secure - there were a few unsecure resources. I would appreciate acceptance of Amex, but I understand the merchant fees are too high. Delivery options are either £20 or £0 for 5 day - how about a £10 or £5 option. I don't know when I'm in but I'm going to wing it, probs will miss first delivery then ring the courier.

Just another shopping site. When you check out remember to untick all the "Do you want us to email this junk" boxes - there are five of them.

Can you give a reason why I have been charged P&P when your web page says FREE P&P?! Thank you, David.

S.M.A.R.T is reporting a impending drive failure on my NAS, so you can imagine how important it is to replace the drive. Opting for a 2 TB Seagate at a very reasonable price seemed like the best option.. However it turned up DOA... which is an absolute pain. E buyer is refunding me the cost but beware, I had to cancel the original order and place a new one for a much speedier turnaround time as it could take anywhere up to 10 days before the replacement would arrive...not good. The staff at E buyer are very pleasant and helpful which in these situation helps immensely

Quick and easy process. Prices reasonable. FREE delivery does NOT apply to full UK, as it seems there is a min £8.95 for ALL Northern Ireland deliveries.

I can see no reason whatsoever why you should require a date of birth to open an account.

This is the first time I have used Ebuyer.com. I was somewhat taken aback when I was asked to provide security details as this has never happened to me before. I tried three different ways to pay and all were rejected. I sent off the requested documentation and was responded to within the day. I have now tried to re-order so hopefully it will happen. If not I'll have to try a different company. The customer service team were very helpful. If everything goes well then I would certainly use them again as the prices are very competetive.

Expensive shipping is a downside, although they were the only place that had my product.
