Customer service is not very good, ordered to items to find one out of stock with at least 6 week expected delivery date. Requested item be removed from the order so the in stock one could be delivered and refund to date nothing so not ahappy customer who will buy elsewhere.

Ordered hedge cutter paid £10 for next day delivery no sign of it emailed no response phoned 6 times all you get is there are over 5 in the queue, next step trading standards.

Like many others who brought the "lightweight" Eckman Telescopic Hedge Trimmer, i tried to use it just the once. Like others, i was fooled by the add. the young woman holding the trimmer at full height. it`s totally impractical and i was mislead by the promotional add. trying to return it has proved just as much of a problem.

Wish I had read these reviews as well , how can the U3A put this companies brochure in its literature. As with other customers my money taken 25th May no products received or any communication as at 11 June ! Difficult to contact , do not order from this company . As older customers we appear to be treated with contempt !

I had an email from Eckman on the 10th May stating that they had my order. It is now 9th June, they took my money but I have not Garden Bird Feeder. They ignored my email. I telephone them today. There is always a queue of people waiting to talk to someone. I am begining to wonder if they should feature on the tv programme ' Rogue Traders ' I am a pensioner and cannot afford to give away nearly £30 and get nothing for it.

Long reach hedge trimmer ordered and confirmed May 22nd, but no delivery date given. Chased June 1st, 4th, 5th and 9th by e-mail - no response, Tried to telephone but a queue of 16 people. What sort of company is this? How bad can the management be? How can the company apparently ignore all the above negative comments and a rating of only 1.58? I'd give nil stars but that's not an option. David Dumbelton

just a very short review DO NOT order anything from this company. I recieved a window washing pole which should have come complete but it was not , So phoned customer services and was told to send photos of it . HOW COULD I SEND PHOTOS OF SOMETHING I DID NOT HAVE .customer services are abysmal john fowler ps still waiting after nearly a month for the replacement

I purchased a telescopic pole chainsaw, the motor has burnt out and I need new brushes and a holder. I've made several telephone calls and been told to email support @eckman, I've done this three times but cannot get any response. I can only assume that Eckman products are regarded as despsable and not repairable.

Have taken my money and a month later still have not received water fountain. Have received no reply to my email asking where my product is. I wish I’d read the reviews before! Do not buy from this company!

Items ordered when arrived antibacterial hand gel when they arrived both bottles had leaked so instead of 2x 250 ml only half of the gel in bottles emailed company with photos of the condition of items but over a week ago requesting a replacement still have not had a response very bad service

I ordered antibacterial hand gel, produced by Wellform, a company in Kent, with 60% alcohol, and received hand gel produced by an unknown company in Cyprus with no mention of alcohol, as far as I could ascertain, not easy to work out as most of the information was in Greek, with just a couple of sentences in English. When I called Eckman to complain, I was told that it contained the same ingredients and that I could email them with a photograph of what I had received and get a second opinion - from them. No bias there, then! I would suggest that this company is avoided.

I ordered two 80ml sanitiser gels on offer for £7.98, as advertised in a catalogue enclosed with the Guardian Saturday paper. The following day £9.98 was taken from my account. An email from Eckman stated that my order had been despatched and to allow 5-7 days for delivery. The stated tracking did not work. So after 8 days I contacted them again to which they replied to allow up to 21 days for delivery. They reiterated their having despatched the order via Royal Mail. Today, 20th May I received one sanitiser! I have contacted them again to ask when the order delivery would be complete. I am not currently incentivised to use this company again.

Product arrived in broken bottles, no padding or box at all. Unable to contact as email address not recognised and telephone not answered. Dreadful

I ordered Hand sanitiser gel 3 weeks ago and was given 4-5 days delivery. I have sent few emails and they chose to ignore it. I wish I knew about their poor reviews and customer service before ordering from them.

Do not order from this company. I ordered a expandable hose two weeks ago. After charging special delivery expected the item. It has been 2 weeks. No item still. I have spoken to 4 different agents who refuse to offer a refund until the item arrives. I have a tracking number with Yodel who are not answering any emails. No available information on the web to offer an indication. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY Ref or758292

They sold my name and address, so now received requests for money (sorry, donations). Only going to well know outlets from now on.
