“Myself and 5 friends stayed in this flat from 30 August 2013 for 2 nights. The flat was immaculately clean, well furnished and spacious. The kitchen has pretty much everything you would need for cooking etc. Towells are provided which is good. The location is great, right on the Royal Mile.
Would say that the person in our group who slept on the sofa bed found the sofa bed uncomfortable and didnt feel as though it pulled out properly. Also, the kickboard under the oven falls off each time you open the oven. Minor points but thought I would mention.
Would definately stay in this apartment again if I was travelling to Edinburgh as a group.”
“This one bedroom, ultra-clean flat, has everything - fully stocked kitchen, wifi, king bed, large lounge, and plenty of storage. Exceptional location, near all Edinburgh has to offer. Only potential problem would be the steep stairs to climb for those with mobility problems or lots of luggage.”
“Although I now live in Plymouth I am an Edinburgh girl
and enjoy my visits home this is the second time my husband and I have used this apartment and have been extremely satisfied with the accommodations and the location”
“A wonderful modern apartment with unsurpassed views over the Firth of Forth. Well equipped, clean, light and warm. Conveniently situated in a quiet location not far from a bus stop, with the Ocean Terminal shops, good eateries and walks close by. Highly recommended.”
“We had a lovely long weekend in Edinburgh and were able to easily walk to anything central in the New Town or Royal Mile. It was fantastic to have a well stocked flat that we could come back to between adventures for down time and casual meals. Beds were comfortable, shower excellent, cleanliness good and everything you could need on a weekend away was there. Easy walk to excellent delis, cafes and restaurants. Definitely a top value option for accommodation in my all time favourite city!”
“We had a great weekend in Edinburgh. The accommodation was first rate. It was very clean, warm and very well equipped. The owner was very friendly and very hospitable. Location very good. Will rent again.”
“Ideal centrally located very nice apartment just behind Princess Street, containing everything you could possibly need (even the very comfortable extra beds we requested). The owner couldn't have been more helpful from making the initial booking to helping with our parking arrangements over the New Year Period. We had an excellent time and would without question stay there again if we are ever up in Edinburgh in the future.”
“Stayed with my partner and another couple for 3 nights over New Years and it was the perfect base. The flat is kitted out with everything you could need for your stay (including towels which was a surprise)and is very comfortable and wonderfully decorated. It is about 15mins walk into the city center, the walk is slightly up hill but we managed easily and we aren't the fittest people!
We loved our time in Edinburgh and this great flat made it so much better, would definitely stay here again.”
“A simple flat but with everything needed. Excellent location, just 10 minute walk to city centre. Really good value considering we stayed over new years. All staff friendly and helpful, even let us check out late!”
“Brilliant location for local amenities (Waitrose, Post Office,Stockbridge Restaurants, Inverleith Park and Botanic Gardens)plus short walk into Princes Street and surrounding attractions. Met by Brian who assisted with luggage and parking. Very nice Welcome Basket. Rooms are spacious and very clean. Noise level from road traffic particularly distracting in lounge and front bedroom.”
“Stayed here for New Year’s. Excellent location and a really nice apartment which was very clean and very comfortable. It was warm and had all mod cons. It was only a 10min walk to Princes Street. There was a Tesco around the corner which was very convenient for getting supplies. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in Edinburgh. The only con I would have is that it didn’t have Wi-Fi”
“Thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the flat, it's gorgeous. Not your usual run of the mill rental flat, full - very high standard of decoration and comfort. Great central location, which has a downside of making the front bedroom a bit noisy at night. The back bedroom was very peaceful though. Would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely flat.”
“Spacious and very bright. We had a litle one with us (2 years old), and there was nothing dangerous we had to worry about. Appliances clean and easy to use, plenty of crockery, cutlery and kitchen tools.
We would definitely come back and we would have no problems with passing this on to our friends, should they ever wish to visit Edinburgh. Many thanks.”
“Beautiful apartment with ample space in all rooms, inc bathrooms, lovely and warm in winter despite high ceilings. Home from home experience, clean and well equipped kitchen and towels supplied.
Only negative part was twin bed room is noisy from traffic at night, so take your ear plugs with you !”
“A very good location that is only 25 minuits walk to the castle esplanade. The secure off street car parking was great. The flat itself was very comfortable and clean.
The bathrooms especally the ensuit were excellant. Will definatly stay again if avialable.”
“Really nice flat, except the bedding was not adequate for winter. The blankets we were given were not ideal. Also, we were not told about the free parking option which we only discovered when it was too late and many pounds later...”
“My husband and I stayed in this flat June 2 - 13, 2013. It was very clean and comfortable. Our hosts met us at the door and helped us up the stairs with our luggage even though we we arrived an hour earlier than planned. (You do need to be able to walk up 3 flights of stairs, no elevator.) The apartment was stocked with essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, etc) and even tea, coffee, and biscuits. It also included free WiFi. The location is perfect for exploring the city. It is an easy 5-10 minute walk to Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, Princess Street Gardens, the Grassmarket, tour busses to visit the Highlands and other attractions, local grocers, shops, restaurants, taxis, and more. The location is ideal. We did not have a car and we didn't need one. At night it was quiet, with comfortable beds for a great night's sleep. All arrangements (payment, arrival, departure) were completed easily. Great deal for a perfectly located, clean, and comfortable flat. we had a terrific time in Edinburgh and I would definitely stay here again!”
“I booked this flat because I was coming to Edinburgh with 3 grandchildren, 1 daughter and my husband. I was attracted by the 4 bunk beds and sofa bed. Luckily it was near Haymarket station and took just 10 mins to walk to after asking the station master where it was. It was roomy, clean, comfortable and quiet. In the end my daughter slept in with the children rather than make up the sofa bed! We were snug in the lovely master bedroom. We managed to walk easily to all the attractions, castle, museum and tour buses. Every morning we nipped to the Coop nearby for our picnic rolls and shopping. We would definitely stay again and recommend it.”
