“I bought this red dot mount for a Taurus PT1911. The mount did not fit my gun, even with trying to force the dovetail on the mount into my gun it would not work. I tried to file the mount dovetail and was able to get it to fit somewhat, but the front of the red dot sight mount is pointing up in the air. What a waste of 50 dollars. I should have used the money to have the slide milled.”

Due to manufacturing differences, we recommend having our rear sight adapter plates installed by a qualified gunsmith.
