“Quality product through and through. I bought this to install on my Colt Defender. On initial installation I found the mainspring housing to be a little tall, causing my grip safety to be deactivated. A few minutes of judicious filing with a flat file remedied the situation. An unexpected benefit of installing this magwell was the tiny bit of extension it brought to the grip. I have largish hands and now my pistol is a little more pleasant to hold.
My magwell arrived quickly and I felt the price of it was fair for the quality product I received. I can't say enough good things about it or EGW. I highly recommend both.”
“Quality product. Fits very tightly which is what you want. Highly recommend a sight tool to install. Quick tip, if installing on a Ruger 10mm there is a set screw under the sight that needs to be removed and also the elevation screw, it will save you some headaches. Will be ordering more of these.”

“I bought this red dot mount for a Taurus PT1911. The mount did not fit my gun, even with trying to force the dovetail on the mount into my gun it would not work. I tried to file the mount dovetail and was able to get it to fit somewhat, but the front of the red dot sight mount is pointing up in the air. What a waste of 50 dollars. I should have used the money to have the slide milled.”
