Thanks for the review, im sorry to hear that you ran into issues with one of our mounts. Please contact customer support, as this is not a common issue with our products. Its possible that a different mount would better fit your dovetail cut.
Im sorry to hear that you are not happy with the finish on your part. From time to time we will get parts with out the best finish on them, we try to catch them all and send them to get re-done but a few may slip through the cracks. Please contact us and let us know and we can find one that looks better.

“I purchased the Guide Rod kit for my 9mm Colt Defender. Product shipped fast and I received it just a few days after I placed the order.
Unfortunately, the front legs of the spring plug were just slightly too wide to fit inside the slide frame. I had to file about 1/8 mm off of each side of the legs in order for it to fit. For the price paid, I should not have to file it down to make it fit the gun.”
