“I recently purchased the Inception Simplifire electric fireplace with the mantle kit, which was the nicest one by far of all the ones I have seen. Extremely realistic flame and the mantle kit is classy and can be painted as you choose to suit your decor. I called many dealers, and Electric Fireplaces Plus gave me the best trade price (I'm a design professional). Currently, I'm in the process of setting my unit up, and while I have high hopes, there've been a few glitches that could have been smoother had I been informed by the sales team about what's involved in the setup. We easily assembled the mantle, which was fairly straightforward. However, when we went to set up the electrical portion, which I was told can easily plug into a standard outlet, it was more complicated. The unit requires a dedicated 220v circuit to run the heating portion, which requires hiring an electrician. Also, the plug itself does not come connected and requires wiring. I called for tech support and was told I should have a licensed electrician do this as well. Basically, I'm excited to actually be able to use the unit, but am disappointed that it requires hiring professionals and running extra electrical lines - this was not what I was told. I will update the reveiw once it's up and running.”

“This is the second fireplace we have purchased from Electric Fireplace Plus. The Napoleon Fireplaces are fantastic. My only complaint was we had three logs that were damaged. I called and got a third party representative who couldn’t have been more rude. She refused to put me through to anyone connected with the company. She said if it was not for an order they would not take the call. I said I wanted to talk to someone from the company and she refused to contact anyone. She said all inquiries had to be done online. I said I still would line to talk to at least sales. She said we were getting nowhere and hung up. I called back and they refused to take my call. Not sure I will ever order again because of their third party rep. T”

“Needed a non-heat fire in a wood burning fireplace for the Florida west coast. The heat option is great for the two days a winter we might need it. Had the 42” electric installed by a contractor who ran the hardwire behind the base molding. Works great. Only wish the fire was more “roaring” for such a large opening.”

“We love this little fireplace insert. We used it for our camper remodel and I really like how the heat blows straight forward (and not to the sides) which is exactly what our small narrow space requires. The fireplace is also beautiful and very cozy. I only wish it had a thermostat. But really very very nice and I can’t complain a bit.”

“We had an incident with our gas fireplace/stove and decided to convert it to an electric fireplace. We purchased the Dimplex Revillusion® 20" Electric Fireplace Log Set and the Dimplex Revillusion 20" Ashmat. I had to make some internal alterations to the stove to allow it to fit. In addition I had to cut down the reflective plexiglas panel and modify the Log Set legs to allow it to fit properly. The finished product exceeded my expectations. We are very happy. It has a very realistic look and feel that we wanted. I found that I could also still use the heater option so we now have it all in a much safer installation.”

“We love our new electric fireplace. It is beautiful and produces real warmth in our living room. It could not have been easier to install: you just plug it in, insert the plexiglass in the grooves, and connect the cinder attachment. It is easy to operate with remote control. It cost us about one-tenth what a gas fireplace would have cost and does not require venting, meaning we do not have to pin the flue open and bring cold air into the house. It was delivered just four days after we orderered it. We give it our highest recommendation!”
