“This may sound like a crazy review however, my kids have experienced trauma after being in a car accident and losing their dad in April. I was worried about their education as they felt behind at the end of the school year. My son is seven years old and his behind in reading, I daughter is eight and she has struggled with the speech, however she is obsessed with Ello which is funny because I got it from my son. He loves it too and they fight over who can read a book. So now I’m going to add her and get her her own profile. I will say as a mother seem advertisements you may not believe them, but as generation has changed and kids are attached to iPads. This had made my kids reading so much fun, and I love every minute of it and I wish I did it sooner.”

“Admittedly, we just started with Ello but I tried everything before this. We did the mouse, the monster - every reading game I could find. We read every day. I’ve read to him since the day he was born. He LOVES being read to but my first born perfectionist is so afraid of messing up that he hates actually reading. Being able to read to Ello instead of a person helps him relax and enjoy it. And Ello helps him when he’s not right - which means it’s way better than reading to his studies. The tangible prizes and sticker charts are a great way for him to see how far he’s come. Ask me again in a month or two, but for right now - Ello is the BEST!”

“My daughter loves tracking points and earning her stars and then monthly prizes when she reads. It’s more enjoyable for her to use the app to figure out words that she is struggling with than asking her parents for help all of the time.”

“My son pushes back a lot when it comes to reading time…in every form possible. Though we just started, I can tell reading with Ello will be different. The reward stars after each page, positive reinforcement and also the prize after so many accomplishments… has been a game changer. After one day he was excited and wanted to keep going. I know keeping on a routine is key and these incentives will help keep us on track!”

“My 7 year old does not like to read. She rather draw and color. We had arguing daily to read and I was getting worn down. Last ditch effort was to try Ello, I can not state enough what a life saver it has been. My daughter absolutely loves it and comes to me wanting to read with her friend elephant “Ello”.”
