“The garment was too large, a bit of a surprize as I many Elvi garments in my wardrobe and know my size. Also the top button was misaligned creating a bulge. I had to return it and I am still waiting for the smaller size to arrive I am waiting to see if this is any better.”

“It is 4 months since I ordered an item from you,I find quality mixed,I prefer better quality fabrics that suit a curvy figure.I used to buy a lot of clothes from Elvi in store as they were quality and fashionable now I find them frumpy and cheap and nasty,I prefer to buy better quality clothing,fortunately I don't just have to buy from Big sizes websites which you have become another Evans I am afraid.”

“I usually love Elvi and find their clothing to be of good to high quality. I hate to say the blouse I just returned was not up to snuff. Even my husband remarked on how funny the sleeves looked. It was as if they were not set in properly. In hind sight, I am wondering if they were set in backwards (with the back facing front). All I can say is - the fabric and pattern were very nice, but I simply could not accept the funny way the sleeves looked. I also returned a handbag, but I must say it was my fault for not reading the dimensions, it was way too big for me. It also did not close on the top - how do you keep things safe and free from the wet weather? The quality was fine, it was just not for me. I will continue to watch their site and e-mails for future purchases. I don't like losing the cost of postage to end up with nothing to show for it.”

“Lovely colour and pattern. Good quality material. Pity there are not enough buttons so the closure gapes - and has required press studs. The neck gapes as the shoulders are too wide. I have had to put a dart across it each shoulder. I should have sent it back but blouses of this quality and length are hard to find.”

“Ordered 2 pairs of trousers which did not arrive. Contacted Elvi who sent the order again next day delivery. Sent 1 pair back that did not arrive and again had to contact Elvi who said they would get back to me after contacting Royal Mail. This did not happen and I had to ring once again and they then refunded me on the spot.”

“Ordered my usual size 2 but was too tight so exchanged for size 3. Very little difference in size so still on the tight side. Kept items anyway. Sending them back would have meant I paid £10 postage and didn't have any garments. Probably won't wear them :-(”

“I have been an Elvi customer for years, since there were shops all over the country. Previously I purchased almost all my clothes from Elvi, and very much enjoyed wearing them. However, recently I find the fabric quality to be poor and the cut and machining not up to standard. The result isthat I have been genuinely disappointed with recent garments. And have had to return several. Such a shame because I was a fan.”
