I ordered 3 cami tops at size 18. Delivery was prompt but all three are too tight. I have for many years bought these type of tops from Elvi when there were shops and sections in department stores - I am still wearing some of them - and I have always bought size 18. It would not be any use buying size 20 instead as they are then too large around the armholes ( I do not have an enormous bust size). I am very disappointed and have returned all 3.

To be honest I was really disappointed with this item. It's the first time I've bought from Elvi on line having formerly gone to a shop. Reading the description of the top I anticipated a black sparkly jumper and I think that's what the description conveyed, what I got was something so fine and flimsy that it is practically see through . I would be very unhappy wearing this without a camisole top or similar underneath. I bought it hoping to use it for smart work events .....I work for a hospice ...but it's completely unsuitable. I'm not quite sure what I will do with it. Such a shame.

I am a larger lady who wants to feel comfortable in my clothes but I find Elvi has a very reduced sizing structure making their clothes uncomfortable and illfitting. I also cannot find a size chart on their website. I have left this feedback for them but they have not yet responded

Having ordered a dress why was a long top delivered. It is being advertised as a dress but with no mention of length!!!

I recently purchased 2 WHITE cami tops on- line only to find on receiving them that they were coloured IVORY. I e-mailed Customer Services who advised me that this was correct since they describe the colour as 'IVORY then WHITE'. I do not understand this at all. In the past I have bought white tops of similar design and these had arrived correctly as being white. Hence my rating on this occasion is ' poor '.

One of the jacket sleeve was stitched so badly at wrist I was unable to get my hand in the sleeve. I had to return the item for a replacement. The size 16 the neck was far too wide.

The quality of Elvi clothes has deteriorated over the years - I've been buying Elvi for over 20 years and with each management change designs and materials have been less good and sizes have changed. They are not as generous now. I used to be able to buy most of my clothes from them, now, it's an occasional purchase and then I have a debate about whether to keep the item.

I bought a really lovely jacket. Wore it once for a wedding and the pocket lining was torn. Very dissapointed

I ordered a range of items for the collection as I needed something for a wedding. The delivery was speedy and I was very impressed indeed. The goods were wrapped beautifully and everything was there. Despite measuring myself carefully some of the items did not fit and all of the length of the sleeves were too long. I bought one jacket and have altered the sleeves. The clothes were good quality for the price, One item was marked and I telephoned straight away to ensure I would not be charged for faulty goods. All in all I could not complain either about the online experience or most of the goods delivered. The problems arose when I wanted to return the goods. First of all is it appropriate to ask people to print out their own reply slip? I never print things out these days so I had to but a new cartridge. If I was someone who did not use the internet and could not replace a cartridge like my mother I would have been at a loss! I had not realised that I would have to pay for returns. Many companies do not charge for returns. It cost me nearly £20 to send the parcel back as I had to have it tracked etc. and because there were sale goods inside it had to be within 14 days! So, I bought a reduced jacket and in the end and the cost of postage was the nearly the same as the jacket. I will not be ordering online from Elvi again.

Delivery of the garment was fine, it arrived at the same time as the items ordered from Evans on the same day. But, the dress fitted everywhere except the upper arms so it had to go back. Some items were also sent back to Evans on the same day. Evans has already acknowledged receipt of the returns and refunded the money into my bank account. Elvi has not done either of these things to date. Poor customer service by comparison.

The coat looked like an old sack. Too tight in the middle so had to be returned. (I would point out that I have bought a coat previously from Elvi in a black brocade material which is stunning and everyone comments on it)

Chose as my sister long time customer, sadly my experience not so good Of 4items purchased from sale had to return 3 sizing poor and zips on two skirts jammed one got open other on skirt could not even try on. Returned items and had to wait for month for refund which came promptly after I emailed reminder. Not impressed sorry

The sizing was completely wrong I usually wear 22 but as it was a straight style I ordered a 24. It would not even go over my hips! Very disappointing

I thought the clothes were lovely that I ordered, one problem though like most designers of plus size clothes they think that plus size women have large bodies and little arms; that we all look like barrels, make room in the sleeves please for our plus size arms and you may sell more clothes!!!!!!

Have bought Elvi clothes for a few years and was always very happy but since our local store closed have to order on line and have found sizing is now smaller also bought 3 tops on line which are too small but missed return date due to holiday.

Awful returns service, still waiting for an acknowledgement of return received, never mind when I will receive my refund, despite returning 2 weeks ago and having tracked that it was received back at Elvi. Also no returns form included, you need to print of several of your own and complete, so hope you have a printer. Clothes do not look as they do on website. Terribly disappointed in whole transaction.

Sad that Elvi garments are unobtainable in shops anymore. I have only been able to keep one item and had to send back the remainder of my purchases when buying online. This was because items were either far too.big or too small compared to fifteen years ago when I purchased numerous items direct from High Street Shops.

poor fitting , most of the time some clothes very old fashioned, not enough choice for casual clothes, not enough summer colours. I have been regular customer at Elvi for a good number of years have admired the quality of yr clothes I continue to constantly look on yr web site for updates and I would really like to see you back on the high street selling more fashionable casual items as well as the more tailored look that is appearing on your web site please please please bring back lightweight elasticated waist good fitting trousers. Thank you
