“EnergySage saved my sanity! I had contacted companies on my own before learning about EnergySage. What a difference it made going this route. My advisor, Alexandria, was very knowledgeable and spent time explaining things so I could understand. The quotes we received made comparing easy because we saw "apples to apples." Whenever I hear of someone who is considering solar, I tell them to check out EnergySage!”

“A great source of information about those black panels that are showing up on roofs in your community. There is a lot of basic information on their web-site that explains the technology very well. They tell you what to look for in those things called PV panels, inverters and batteries. They will ask for your address and a recent power bill and with that information quotes from suppliers/installers start arriving in your inbox. You will get ratings on the quality of the equipment listed in the quote and they will answer questions that may arise. I felt very comfortable throughout the whole process. No pressure, no favoritism, just help and support. They provide a very good environment in which you make your decision.”

“Love the interface and premise of price shopping across providers in one place! Despite the rosy reviews, the provider we went (NRG) with took $20,000 and still has not installed our panels, almost a year later. I feel a bit mislead by all the reviews when I've had a borderline scam experience with one of the highest rated reviewers.”

“Energy Sage facilitated my decision making by getting 7 companies to submit competitive quotes for my Solar project. Two solar installers made my final cut and only a week after I started this process with Energy Sage, I made my final choice and signed a contract with my selected installer. I'm planning to add a backup battery system within the next 2 years so I hope Energy Sage can help me with that process as well.”

“Energy Sage was incredibly helpful. Without Energy Sage we wouldn't have the solar panels on our roof. Energe Sage helped us find the company that met our needs perfectly as owners of a hundred year old house. Energy Sage also gave us the information to make good decisions in regard to the various components of the solar instalation.”

“EnergySage is just what I was looking for when I wanted to go solar. I tried looking into solar last year and filled out one form online and had forty vendors contacting me. I hated it! I attended an online workshop about solar and found out about EnergySage and I loved every minute of it. Every vendor is vetted before they are allowed to participate in the portal. I didn't want to have to do any of the vetting myself, and I felt safe making a choice. All the vendors contacted me only through the portal, I got multiple quotes, I could see ratings and warranties in each quote, I could compare quotes, and I didn't have to speak to anyone I didn't want to! I loved the vendor I ended up going with and I couldn't be happier.”

“EnergySage are a wonderful organization, great information to help you decide on going solar. Unfortunately, our experience with Solar Grid Central NC was nothing short of disappointing, the red flag that should have made us question our choice was that corporate was in another state and never returned our phone call/ message. Long story short we felt we were lied to when told there were hold ups, my husband contacted the power company and the county directly, no hold ups on their end. Corporate were to have sent money to the power company, this never happened. After researching for the company that would go above and beyond, we settled and happily so with NC Solar Now who are well ahead on where we were with the other company. Rated 4.9 out of 5 on Facebook and have been in business 13 years. We have contact numbers for each person handling the different installation process. So relieved and cannot wait for the solar to be installed.”

“I found EnergySage's advice incredibly helpful. My advisor, Matt, was a font of information. Researching solar on your own means entering an overwhelming new world, and in my experience, EnergySage provided the steady hand and level of context I badly needed. “EnergySage was an incredible help to me as I was deciding which Solar company to use for my project. It was extremely comforting to have an unbiased organization help me navigate the quotes I got and understand the nuances of the hardware (panels, etc.) involved in the project. I honestly don't think I would have been able to get through this process without the help of Nicole Harper who patiently explained to me the differences between the equipment and the pros and cons of each quote. My project is not complete, but I'm hopeful all will go well. I wholeheartedly recommend EnergySage to anyone thinking about going solar.”

“EnergySage provided four quotes within a day or two. The two primary advantages to using EnergySage were: 1) The quotes were all in the same format which made comparison MUCH easier. 2) The equipment ratings and reviews were invaluable. With so many variables, researching this myself would have been an overwhelming task. We signed a contract with our chosen supplier one week ago and are now waiting for pre-installation planning and permits. Hope to have the system installed and operational within the next 4-6 weeks.”
