“Excellent and efficient service so would highly recommend”

“Simple installation process through Octopus Energy, installer was polite and efficient. Charger box is small and neat, seems to deliver the full 7kw when charging. Had an issue after it had been commissioned that it said it was charging but the car wasn’t drawing any charge, spoke to installer who talked through how to reset and seems to be working ok now. Slightly disappointed that the app/device doesn’t read the current battery level when you plug it in so you have to manually update at the start of a charge else check on the car app as to what level the battery is at. Overall does what it is supposed to do.”

“Charge point works fine. The app is useless, the readings make no sense despite good internet signal and there is very little useful information on the app. It seems I would need to enter the state of charge every night myself in order for the app to tell me when the vehicle is fully charged. The app tells me that the vehicle was charging for more than 27 hours in a single day 🤔 and the tariff information does not transfer.”

“I initially reviewed this charger and was a little frustrated at being unable to connect to the app. However credit to EO Tech Support team who were outstanding in there contact and effort to get the issue resolved. All now working perfectly and I have to say one of the best customer service experiences I have had recently. A great charger and with outstanding support I would highly recommend.”

“Great response to an initial hickup where the charger simply stopped charging without any reason. After a firmware update this issue was resolved. Apart from that the charger has been great and easy to use.”

“The installation was booked through Electric Ireland. The installer was very good and a really nice guy. The unit however is making a clicking noise. Not sure is this normal but it’s very annoying. Has anyone else experienced this. I have uploaded the video.”
