“Epic is a great company for cosplay items, everything is high quality and I've never had issues with them! Their return policies are a bit ridiculous with needing every single piece of paper, cardboard shaper, etc. and basically if they determine it's not able to be restocked immediately without them simply fixing it in less than 5 minutes they will charge you a 20% fee. You also have to cover return shipping and only get store credit of whatever is left after fees they may charge. It's clear this is done so they do not lose much money as a niche company but in turn this can be a turn off for some customers as it's not very considerate of the customers themselves. If you're satisfied with your item, this will not be an issue! If you're not, you're most likely better off keeping the item and figuring something else out rather than losing money.”

“It’s a very good wig! It is extremely dense and the fibers are very soft. I personally ended up unpicking the crown of the head and resewing it into a different hairline so I can definitely say the wefts are sewn together well and it doesn’t shed a lot. I would give it 5 stars but the cap is a bit big so it sits awkwardly around my ears. (Picture is after I altered the hairline and took hair out)”

“I had some issues with when my package arrived with where it had arrived but it WASN'T epic cosplays fault, but miscommunication from both the courier and my countr's national postal service. ECW was very patient and gave clear information regarding my package, one of the wigs I bought would take a while to be in stock again and I'd like to say that they, in particular Yena, who informed me and let me decide if I wanted to have my stuff delivered all at once or wait until it came back in stock. Everything arrived intact and together, once it was shipped it was very fast delivery. One critique, while it's not an issue now that I have a ring of color samples, I would love to have more pictures of the colors ECW has in different lighting than just under ring light, it would make a huge difference! Thank you!”

“What I don’t like is that I specifically asked and was specifically told that I don’t need wig glue, when I actually do. The reply actually said “why would you need wig glue?”. So I’m very disappointed in that.”

Unfortuantely, the basics guide (https://www.epiccosplay.com/pages/the-basics#) currently 404s, which would have been very helpful for me as a first-time wig user (especially since I wasn't originally aware I needed a wig cap), but I was able to figure that stuff out elsewhere.”

“Shipping was surprisinly fast, even with how close I ordered this to Halloween. The fibers were really soft and the colour I got was super vibrant too! Overall pretty pleased. I was peaved at the compatability between their base Gaia wig and their ponytail extentions. The extentions were way thinner than the base wigs ponytails to the point where theyre kind of unusable. The actual wig I got was super well made and comfortable though!”

“Originally ordered a different wig that was on backorder, it said it would be here within five weeks and I was fine waiting that long. Emailed asking if it would be here on time after 4 weeks and they said it would actually take another 3 weeks. That was too long for me, as I had a con to go to. Thankfully the support person was super nice and helped me change my order, and the new wig was shipped super quickly! Just wish the extra shipping time for the other wig was communicated earlier.”

“Shipping is quick, and products are always in stock which is a huge plus. However quality of wig fibers on the wig bases and the wig extensions are inconsistent across batches. A recent purchase from a commissioner had shiny extensions and a matte textured base wig. Next order i put in had all shiny fibers across both extensions and base. Prefer the matte textured texture for styling.”

“The wigs take a long time to arrive, which is always a negative, but let me just say... They are definitely worth the wait!! These are the softest wigs I have ever tried and I was skeptic about their detangleness, but it's really smooth! You can't see the lace while the wig is on either and overall I'm very pleased! I will be shopping here again and again and I've recommended the company to a lot of my friends! Very good quality, despite the long wait but that's a given when you live in Sweden.”

“The quality is great! It's a little hard to style if you're a beginner like myself. I had trouble adjusting the ponytail on the phoebe wig. I found the clip to be a little too big/heavy on the clip in extensions. Great service! Very satisfied!”

“Epic has a good assortment of styles and colors of wigs for cosplay use. Pricing is reasonable and shipping is quick, but the overall quality is “mostly okay.” The wig fibers tangle easily and the color is typically one-note, with little or no depth. “You get what you pay for.””
