I will never use this insurance company again. They renewed my car insurance after I phoned to cancel. Now I have a invoice for £57.31 plus if I don't pay it they will transfer my debt to a debt collecting company. There is absolutely nothing decent or respectable about this company they are just money grapping cheats.

Easy to buy (although Go Compare really helped with that) and really happy with the cost of the insurance. Not needed to make a claim and hoping not to so not tested that element!

I did put in a claim however I was advised to pay for an electrician to come out to check the sockets where the water had poured through. I then learnt that there was a £400 excess on water damage. My fault for not reading really. They then sent out surveyors, not employed by Esure, who were not the best surveyors I've encountered and I work with them in my job. I was spoken to in a patronising manner, and dismissed. When a problem was pointed out I was told that I wouldn't have noticed as it was behind a picture, when the problem they were pointing out was above and behind the picture, which is directly in front of the stairs. I was told (perhaps in an effort to help me make a decision not to pursue the claim) that after the excess, I might have enough left over for some paint and brushes. This was after they said the whole hall needed decorating. I've had an issue previously with this and always paid to get it repaired, but this was different and the pipe below the tap had burst causing damage. They told me it was caused by a sealant leak, but if I felt it was different I should get a plumber to write up a report about it. I was polite, but felt patronised through the process. I withdrew my claim as they stressed me out that much I was ill. After the stress of water pouring through sockets and down the wall into my hallway I did not need further stress from the 2 surveyors representing Esure. I did not want to have to deal with them or Esure again. The customer service itself was fine, but their representatives on the ground let the side down.

Esure have provided me with a good level of cover for a great price. I haven't needed to make any claims so I cannot comment on their quality in that regard.

its not that the staff are terrible or rude ! they are lovely but not trained well by the company. I was quoted £400 for renewal on around the 7-9 sept and a very lovely lady matched to £4000 and I said, i need to decide to pay full amount or monthly. she told me I do not have to pay immediately as I was deciding to pay the full amount or monthly. so she told me to call back 6th October and she will hold that quote for me. just rang up and she did not put the quote in the system as promised. I am so gutted as this is a crazxy amount to pay for a ar that is 21 years old and I have never claimed in my 30 years driving

A trades person visiting my house unfortunately left his van without the handbrake on enough and it rolled down a slight slope and hit my parked car on the driveway. The insurance company dealt with collecting my car for repair. It is with them now being repaired. So fingers crossed I will get it back soon.
