I've never done online insurance and I found it easy to do and helpfully to go through all the details beforehand so yes I will do this again

Reading through some of these comments I wonder....is this really the same company that dealt with my claim recently?. I'm not insured with esure as the don't do taxi insurance, but I was involved in a collision with one of their customers recently (non fault, I was parked) and within hours of the accident I was contacted by them asking if I would like them to sort everything out for me regarding the claim. It was all done over the phone, without any forms to fill in and without any hassle whatsoever. The repair was done by their approved garage and also done very swiftly I have nothing but praise for this company, and would recommend them to anyone

You people have cancelled my insurance and now ask me to 0ay 200 pounds to you when it was you people who canceled my insurance I had no warning letter of final letter

Knocked my laptop of the table and it died. Had it insured specifically cos its expensive. They took it away and after a few days i was told it wasn't covered as it was "wear and tear, deterioration over time mechanical failure." This happened at the same time the laptop hit the ground.....which was convenient for them. If it had physical damage then maybe they could say it was a result from that but unfortunately for me it landed on its bottom and whatever broke inside was undetectable by them so basically tough luck. Though I should feel free to pay someone else to look at it and then esure will have the same people who looked at it the first time check it again. If i had the money to pay other people to look at it then I would have rather than rely on them. So glad I paid for the extra cover. No wonder the forums online say "if its broken, make sure if you send it to them with enough damaged so they cant weasel out of it." Honesty gets you nothing.

Totally unacceptable for them to take money out of my bank account when renewal date is due. Phoned them to ask for refund (which i have not seen the money back into my bank account yet). In their defense, they said that I must have clicked the "automatic renewal" button. I may have done but the button was not obvious otherwise i would definitely, definitely would NOT have clicked automatic renewal. I class this as stealing, taking money without consent. Disgusting.

I chose Esure for their excellent price and have used Customer Services twice, one when I change my vehicle ear;ly this year and then for a chop in my windscreen. On both occasions I have found the staff very helpful and polite. I would recommend Esure.

Somebody hit my car and drove off so I made a claim and has been over 2 weeks I'm getting no where with esure.. have spoken to different person every time who give me different answers then the next will say you have been given wrong info.. very fustrating.. one lady advisor was very rude, didn't want to admit that I could be told wrong info before.. I am not anywhere near satisfied.. will be leaving esure. In these situations customer service is very important

I got house insurance because it was cheapest on comparison website. Then they automatically renew at the end of the year but you cannot cancel online which forces you to call them. Their website is erratic. You can log on to one part of the website but not another unless you already have a policy with them. Again this forces you to phone them. There appears to be a drive for you to call them so I guess their sales people can engage you. If you are OK with that and can handle the sales pitch and you understand that cheap insurance is cheap for a reason then fine, you know what you are getting. If you want a better service then go to another insurer. I would not recommend eSure.
