“You're way behind your competitors in customer service and resonse to queries, technical or regarding trading. The range of products in which to bet/trade is too limited too, and your spreads are not the greatest. Remitting funds to you is also too protracted, involving speaking to more than one person, Why can't this be done online? Sorry there are so may criticisms.”

“So far I have found ETX to be a reliable platform. I have no evidence of stop hunting that I have found with other spread betting providers. Their prices are generally in line with my other spread betting platform and if they do vary it is not more than 3 or 4 pips and is consistent for hours rather than a spike . My one use of the customer service desk was quick and efficient and all done by email. Lets hope they keep it up. I often find that companies start of well with new customers and then forget about them.”

“As someone new to spread-betting generally and Forex specifically, I thought I was going to struggle to understand how they come together. I have found the ETX platform user friendly and if anything I have not explored it enough. The basic functions are straightforward and all you need, however, help is available on line or at the end of a telephone. I meet with other people trading Forex who spend much of their day surfing around different brokers instead of investing time in developing a sound trading system and then using ETX to execute their strategy. I am delighted that I found ETX first time around and see no reason to go elsewhere.”

“Great education programme, especially the training given by Barry Norman. The usefulness of the programme is also being enhanced as more recordings are being made available. The customer service is very good, as is the platform content. There are however, technical challenges with the platform. Grant Harris”

“The platform is very easy to learn and navigate. Easy to filter/select your favourites for the watch list etc. Also looks good on a mobile device. The only glitch I have noticed is that chart data stops loading after a while if you're constantly logged in. So you need to log out and in again to get the charts back. Not sure if you're aware, but it's not the end of the world.”

“Hi, I really like the platform, it's easy to use and a pleasant interface to look at. I wish the spreads were a little tighter on some fx pairs and indicies, and also that there were micro lots so I can enter smaller prices on larger trades. Once I've built my account on another platform that does allow smaller entry prices I will be able to place more trades on ETX but until then I will be priced out of using this platform as much as I'd like.”

“1. The system does not appear to be flexible in that the features are rather limited and the user is unable to 'customise' the screen layout i.e. the menu options are limited. 2. The size of the full graph is limited within the main trading screen. ...perhaps graphs could be detached from the main screen? 3. The words (ie names of share / forex etc) on the main trading screens are much too tiny. ...could the columns be expanded or contracted as required? Although the comments are rather negative I hope they are of use to you.”

“What I like: Platform ease of use, Speed of execution is excellent Ability to display multiple tickets is valuable for my trading style Ariel charts are nice and clear In hours spreads for the indices are good Customer services personnel are almost certainly the most friendly team I've spoken to Speed of fund transfers in and out of my account Tabs for account history, transactions etc is very good Occasional calls from my account manager What I think could be improved The colour scheme of the platform, or the ability to change this (red on black background in the wrong light is a nightmare!) The ability to sort open positions into chronological order I don't like the android app. Columns need to be customisable, and again ability to sort needs to be improved Overall pretty pleased with everything. I do use other providers but actually currently the majority of my trading goes through ETX”

“really do like the platform. in fact that's the only reason why i trade with etxcapital. your platform is user friendly making it easy for even a beginner that trade without much instruction. only thing I do not like is when the the platform fails to execute during major news item. if you can improve on this feature then you will have a superb platform. thanks moses”

“I started trading at the beginning of this year. I have since been swamped by various brokers with lots of opening offers to entice me to them. Thankfully, I was introduced to ETX Capital by a company called knowledge2trade. Being a novice to trading,I have to say it was the most easiest brokerage platform to navigate..I had tried a couple of others (not sure if I should name them!),but I simply did not find them user friendly! I also find ETXs platform visually pleasing,and the colour scheme works really well. I guiltily admit,that after an amazing offer from another broker at an exhibition,I was tempted elsewhere,but after trying them for a short while,I still came back to ETX,and then they did an even better Easter Deal,thus sealing my loyalty. I like the fact that the margin and profit/loss figures are there in front of you. One is able to trade in pips from as low as 50p...some even as low as 10p,which is ideal for a beginner. I much rather prefer trading this way,rather than in "lots" favoured by some brokers. I have recommended ETX to several people,including my own brother,as whenever I have had an issue,the staff at the other end have been friendly and have resolved any query swiftly. I hope ETX capital dont change a single thing on their pro trader PC platform...afterall,can one improve on perfection?”

“In the time that we have been trading we have found the ETX platform user-friendly. We also found the charts easy to understand and to add studies etc. to suite our own particular needs. We have been glad of the free services available to us as a client. This includes the Advanced Education programme as well as other training programmes which have been of great advantage in helping us to improve our trading skills. The Real-time news gives us valuable trading information.”

“Has some advantages over others, spreads can be less, but not fixed; good for smaller trades and odd amounts (to nearest 10p rather than £1) which makes trade sizing to risk tolerance easier. Charts frequently fail however, not good when this makes the entire platform crash when in a day trade.”

“I am impressed with ETX. The online trading platform is very good. I sometimes have difficulty with the charts but it is easy to move around the system. To be able to draw and introduce funds so easily is very helpful and finally whenever I have to contact the office to deal I am impressed by the quality and politeness of the staff they are very helpful. Long may ETX recruit and train staff so well. Many other organisations could learn from ETX !!”
