After 2 missed appointments, 1 due to illness, all installed when advised. Tech support very efficient.

After an initial problem , with the dish being slightly warped (though not visible to the naked eye) and getting no signal, John Sidwell could not have been more helpful in testing the various elements and eventually sorting out the problem by obtaining a replacement dish. The system was working well when we left France late Sept. We are currently in the uk and not using the service, We return to France in March 2015 and hope we will have a good reception when we return>

Not exactly a 'recent purchase' as it was installed a year ago! Has performed well in this remote rural location without land-line broadband. Has given down-load speeds regularly between 12 and 20 Mb/s.

When it is operating at full speed it's very good but too often it is much slower.......

Reception speeds can vary, especially in bad weather. Benefits from occasional resetting of the ariel alignment.

I opted to install the system myself and found the installation instructions to be easy to follow. The system worked fine from the off with no further adjustment required. It is noticeably slower at peak times but not as bad as terrestrial broadband at about 4 km from the exchange. My concerns about rain/snow shadow have so far been unfounded. The router is connected to the computer via ethernet cable - no wireless. This is the main downfall of the system. Fitting a wireless access point has partially cured it but it keeps dropping and needs re-booted regularly (although this might just be a settings issue). Overall I am satisfied with Europasat and would recommend them.

Our area broadband service is nil, so to have Eurosat is good ~ even with download limits it is far better than we had. ie nothing

We had Broadband via a BT landline which gave us about 0.5 MB on a good day, but had increasingly frequent dropouts because of deterioration of an underground cable. When this failed, BT refused to sort it out as we were more than 9 km from the exchange. There is no fibre in the area so it was either Satellite, 56K modem or 3G mobile. We chose satellite. Costly to install and much higher monthly rental, but gives us 10MB down, (2MB up) and seems very reliable. We are happy.

Basically the Europasat system is good however there are certain issues that I would address that I have raised before 1)Website could do with a re think and better layout of options 2) account holders in PAYG seem to have account details placed on another server which is soooooo slooooow and the tabulation means that on laptops the data is not displayed all at once. Simple text lines as before had all the data visible in one go. Can we go back to that 3) Why can I still NOT book another volume booster via my account and every time have to phone or ask for a new debit via email. This must surely have to stop now and allow full transparency with other Europasat account options. It would be good to have a totally transportable option to allow immediate roaming throughout the Europasat coverage without the necessity to pay 30 Pounds every time one re connects ie with multiple systems on PAYG I could simple log in and out where and when I wanted. If that were so I would give up my land line broadband. 4 being a PAYG user to have vironment to roll over unused volume booster credit would really make this the perfect system for us. Having existing credit cut off after 3 months has meant we have lost a lot of revenue from unused usage, as by its very nature PAYG is an on demand option. 5) I wonder if by filling this in I am likely to get a volume booster credit for my time? If you are out of range of landline or fibre broadband, satellite is an option to consider. Installation is expensive and the monthly charge is more than the others, but if your only option is 3G mobile or 56K modem, then I think that it is worth it.

We have a house in France which we visit 3-4 times a year. Europasat service is ideal for us as we can "switch" off or on as we please. Thanks for a good service.

Expensive! I love the service and its very reliable, but 10gb is very easy to use up and it is very difficult to justify buying an even more expensive package! If I was you I'd worry that when super fast broadband is rolled out across Scotland/uk you will have a mass exodus with people moving back to BT.

Because we only use Europesat for 6 months (in our second home), we would like to have the possibility to pay for a year and use the yearly stock whenever we need it. The situation is now that we sometimes have to buy extra volume when we have people over and the other 6 months we pay but use nothing.

One click purchase of volume booster is very good, very quick etc However the one drawback is that once the monthly limit is exceeded and the booster kicks in the client is unable to see the usage of the booster as the usage bar chart no longer updates......

I have been using Europasat for a few years now and have found the service, on the whole, very good. When I have had a problem with the service I have been on the phone to the offices and they have come back to me and solved the problem within 24 hours. One thing I am a little disapointed with is sometimes the internet is very slow, and because we are restricted to a specific amount of download per month I find it very expensive compaired to other internet providers in the area.

I find the company very efficient but I am struggling to keep to my 10.000 allowance and am not able to afford to increase it. Is it possible to increase it and keep the same fee as I am paying now?

Europsat offers internet connection where this provides an advantage over direct phone/cable connections (like they do not exist or are too slow). The Europsat connection is fast - downloads are quick for example. However, my phone picks up that the connection is intermittent. Also we lose service for up to an hour occasionally (once or twice a month - but that is comparable to other providers). Overall I am very satisfied with this technology.

The staff do there best on the phone and I have got to know a few and they have got to know what I need. The portal is getting better, much easier to order for me as an overseas customer not having to ring up is a plus. The online chatting service can be useful if you have a brief question to be answered. I hope all at Europasat have a pleasant Christmas and a Happy New Year From Norman Banks in Cyprus
