I have been a customer for two years. My signal quality has always been poor. I do not feel that the company has been interested in finding out why the signal quality is poor, nor in helping to get the quality up to a normal or better standard. I have not been able to recommend your service to friends and I know they have found alternative systems.

The only downside with satellite internet is the longer latency: about 700 ms compared to 40ms with a BT landline. However, 20 Mb/sec is more than ten times faste than the maximum rate I ever achieved with the landline. Being over 1 mile from the nearest BT exchange and with frequent power cuts BT kept on reducing our maximum connection rate. so the the average speed was below 1 Mb/sec. With the satellit connection, internet access is lost when we have a thunderstorm, but it comes back automatically when the storm has passed. In contrast with the landline a thunderstorm would blow the ADSL filter and I would have to wait until the next working day to get it fixed. Just replacing the ADSL filter was not sufficient since I would have to get BT to eset the ADSL connection. We are limited to 17 Gb per month, so when we have visitors and have 10 connections on the router instead of 2, I have to buy a FUP reset (£18). The bandwidth is enough for normal UTube usage.

The speed is awful. I don't know if you've had too much success selling capacity in our area but its slower than the old landline where we are lucky if we can get 500kbs. Initially the streaming speed seemed very good but lately even that has fallen away. Anyway 90%of the time, we are not streaming, we just want to browse the net in which case the wait for each new page has me climbing up the walls. The whole sales pitch was based on streaming speeds which I feel is misleading and,as I say, even the streaming is worse than our old land line. I wish I had never spent the 500£ on the installation quite honestly.

My 'wired' broadband via phone line is hopeless here out in the sticks - I'm over 7km from the exchange - so I installed your satellite system about four years ago and was pleased to get a reasonable download speed at last, i.e. stuff worked. But some time onwards it began to be very slow, so last year through your customer helpline I was given a free upgrade to a bigger download allowance, which was something but of course didn't help with the speed. Now the speed is terrible, often it won't even let me stream audio without stopping every minute or so. If this doesn't improve soon I'll be going elsewhere, £40 pm is too much to pay for such poor performance. That said, your customer service is polite and attentive but it seems that they can't get more out of a heavily overloaded system.

Internet is great with efficient and helpful installation. It all works well despite the near daily power cuts here! I would really like you to develop a usable TV link!

We have had this system in for over a year now and it has worked very well although am disappointed with the limited data for nine months of the year I don't use allotted data but that's all lost a d then for 3 months I ha e to pay to reset so because of this I will swap back k as soon as i can

Hi John Thanks for taking the time to respond to our survey. As you own the hardware, the minimum connection period is two months. You can disconnect for the nine months (with a thirty day notice period) that you do not use the system and reconnect when you do want to use the system. There would be a £29.99 reconnection. Very good service and feedback, but I won't give it 5 star as I think it's a bit expensive and in my part of Italy I often don't get the required bandwidth (only a third) thus not make it value for money!

Satellite will be more expensive that standard ADSL broadband due to the amount of funding that has been ploughed into the new Technology. I have no complaints! Your service has been excellent. and your local representatives in Crete impeccable. you. When something went wrong with reception at the Crete end, Derek and Karen responded immediately and effectively. Given the increasingly intense competition in the market, it is good to see a British company more than holding its own. Keep up the good work!

Upgraded recently, as always running short of band. The volume booster system is too expensive to have to keep using. Upgraded easily and quickly. Fingers crossed the upgrade will be better !

I would say the service has been just ok. The service appears to be erratic at times with the line dropping out at some very inconvenient times. We also find it quite expensive

Generally service has been good, System was installed on time and has worked fine. The Europasat website (not the customer portal) is a bit chaotic and tends to goes round and round in circles and the website did not say that the Mole Valley Farmers offer could only be done by phone, not online. The live chat facility on the website is useful and I got prompt responses.
