Except for a few drop outs of internet, we find the company's service very good. Have recommended to friends.

Helpful, Knowledgable staff and an easy DIY installation of Satellite system. Europasat are an excellent team, but Satellite Internet is never going to be as good as a proper service. Takes hours to stream movies. Usually well below 10MBs, and likely to get worse as more people subscribe. My wife literally complains about the download speed every single day!!

We installed satellite broadband after months of problems with broadband reception via our BT landline (we live in rural Somerset) which culminated with BT saying they were unable to reinstate the connection at all. We chose Europasat on the recommendation of a neighbour who had had similar problems. We now have a reliable service with a speed of about 6.2, sometimes a bit lower during periods of heavy usage. This is hugely better than anything we ever obtained via the landline. We can catch up on missed TV programmes for instance without any interruption. Service contact at Europasat is also easy to reach, pleasant and helpful, in contrast to the nightmare of dealing with BT! Only negative to mention is the quality of connection when using Skype which we do frequently for overseas family calls. Sometimes it is excellent with minimal delay, but more often the delay and poor picture quality makes it difficult. We are still experimenting to discover what causes this, whether heavy traffic or connection problems at one or other end. This may be a feature of all satellite broadband connections, but check it out if Skype is important to you.

very slow service does not respond fast when you contact customer service very poor response seams a case we have your money thanks have complained but still no action

I am happy with the broadband service, the speed is excellent and enough for all I need to do on the internet. There are times when friends are staying that the allowance is insufficient and It would be good to be able to increase the allowance during these periods. I know you can buy extra but this is a very expensive option.

Was on hold for over 15 minutes before I finally gave up and called back the following day. Product is over priced. Sales person was polite.

Due to the money that has been invested in this new technology, satellite broadband will be more expensive than standard ADSL broadband. Delivery and installation were quick and simple enough, although I was surprised at the large size of the dish. Network setup was also straightforward. Regarding download speed - I do get the expected 20Mbit speed at the beginning of the month after the quota has been reset. However, I am disappointed at the very slow speeds that can occur after the quota is exceeded, and need at times to switch back to my always slow landline. What makes this worse is that the quota that I paid for (although this was recommended to be perfectly good for my requirements - checking emails and standard surfing on internet, some YouTube videos and occasionally an iplayer download), seems to run out after only about a week. In fact the usage as reported by my router seems always much lower than the usage reported by Europasat. I have even had an occasion when my quota has been exceeded in a week even though we were away for 5 days of that week, with no computer usage during this time.

I am happy with the service. However, I do think it would be useful if any unused broadband allocation could roll over to the following month. Perhaps working on the basis of (in my case) 360 GB per year.

We receive our internet via a satelite dish and sometimes like to watch a movie on-line, however we have experienced a lot of slow down, especially this past month, and do not have enough speed to watch anything. I contacted the company and they said that, as I was trying to watch at peak times, this is normal and I have used more than 50% of my allowance so they 'throttle' my service and purposely slow it down !! I pay for 100% but they give me 50% and drip feed me the rest of my allowance! I am now looking for another provider as this is just not right.

The speeds you are receiving could be due to the amount of people on the network at any given time as this is a shared network and for this reason, we cannot guarantee any kind of headline speeds. This is also why your speeds may be lower during the late afternoon till late at night simply due to the amount of people using the bandwidth. Please also be aware that the services is an up-to service which means the 20MB/s is not a guaranteed speed. Had a few issues with changing tariffs, took a few months. To sort out. We have had the service suspended due to administrative problems which left us with no way of contacting emergancy services if needed. The company are aware that broadband is our main means of communication due to the location . Overall dissapointed.

Advertised as (up to) 20Meg but when I do a speed test it's more like 5 Meg. Very disappointed with it. Often not that much better than our old BT landline.

This is a very expensive product and not as fast as advertised as it frequently slows down at certain times. The 50G limit means there is a lot you can't do, like regularly download films/TV as you will run out of your monthly allowance very quickly, also we have had to turn off iCloud updates on our phones when at home as it will also use up the allowance. In short, if and when BT pull their finger out and get high speed broadband, even at a much slower speed than europasat we will dump it. This is not a realistic alternative to cable based systems.

I don't think that you will even respond to this but you have asked for it and with a bit of luck?! I have to keep 2 systems working because both yours and BTs are unreliable and poor. I run a medical charity/NGO (I don't get any pay for this and I do it on a voluntary basis) and need to keep in contact around the world. Sometimes the band width with your Europasat is so slow. I suspect that your system is overloaded and it does not live up to the promises that I received. I had a Welsh Government grant to put it in and I am sure that they would be angry that I have not received the quality that I expected and you promised. On one occasion my colleague and neighbour Nick Randall Smith complained (his opinion as a computer expert was clearly taken seriously by you) and we were switched onto another satellite and for a time things were magic!. I would not recommend your service to anyone and am looking at ways that I can complain about such a poor service funded by public money. My experience is that no one ever responds to these surveys but just in case!

We joined Europasat as we needed a more reliable and fast service -- that is not what we have got! Why does the service fail when the weather is poor? Why is it so slow to download incoming email? Why can't we pay for the service by Direct Debit? An email notifying us of current usage is a good idea, but when we have over-run our allowance you don't tell us BEFORE throttling us back? It is far from a customer friendly service -- you are on your own and that isn't helpful. Beware Voove Ltd -- they are NOT MacIntosh experts.

We will be introducing Direct Debit in the very near future. You should be receiving usage emails, please check your spam/junk box for these.
