We have had the dish and modem 6 days now. Fitting, installation and checking went smoothly. The modem needed rebooting at 1100 BST on 2nd April 2015, when the connection failed for no apparent reason. As expected the speed started disappointing. Today it has improved, but part of the reason may be that it is Saturday and not all business users are online. Ookla measured speeds are as follows (all times BST, download/upload in Mbps): March 30 @1925 4.81/1.80 March 31 @2235 1.44/0.72 April 01 @0950 3.98/2.16 April 01 @1512 1.06/0.62 April 01 @2254 3.28/1.82 April 02 @1220 4.74/2.43 April 02 @2106 2.11/1.02 April 04 @1315 10.52/3.54

Hi Peter Thanks for taking the time to respond to our survey. We can see from your system that you have not run any speedtests on thy Tooway system. Can we ask that you use http://speedprobe.skylogicnet.com. This is also powered by Ookla but is much more accurate. The Technical department would be happy to discuss any issues that you may have. I was absolutely delighted with the easy installation and change over, Steve (from Voove) was terrific, everything just went to plan. As for the speed of the Two Way I find that the pages can still take as long to open as did my old broadband but they do come in fully - well mainly they do. All in all I am satisfied but I would have liked it to be faster.

If you are looking for a rural telecoms solution Europasat provide a service that overcomes the problem of many isolated dwellings. The company offers a satellite communication package that is functionally and financially effective. Europasat quickly delivered the satellite dish, router and comms system, provided the engineers to install the equipment and offer technical support that help with any setup questions. Overall a good company with good support staff that provide a good product.

We have only had this system for five days, so its still new to us. In comparison to what we had before this network seems better than our previous supplier. All the best Graham Redhead

Did what they said they would do, delivered on time, installed on time and everything working. Bit unsure about the subsequent emails I get about data usage and , as usual Tariffs aren't clear and they are speaking jargon to me about FUP , so don't know what that means. Will wait til I see actual usage and then decide. There is a lot of press about download speeds so I am being cautious here and I think they could improve their service if they regularly gave updates on that particular KPI regards len

The installation of the dish was professionally executed and has provided us with our own faultless rapid access to the internet at a cost well below what terrestrial providers could achieve.

Europasat provided a reliable service at acceptable speeds for several years before BT started to improve their cable Broadband service to rural areas. Both services appear roughly compatible in our rural area now - although whereas the download speed for one might be better than the other it would appear that the upload speed for the poorer download service might prove to have the preferred upload service

The service I receive is good and to date I have not had cause to complain. When requesting information regarding usage queries the response has been quick and informative. The only thing which frustrates me is having what used to be "unlimited" use which is now capped at 50,000mb. I find this difficult to explain to visiting friends/family who use our internet. They remind me that their provider offers "totally unlimited" usage. Ultimately I believe this will compel me to move to another provider with "unlimited" use.

A really good company and the only one who has ever really provided us with Internet. It is a little on the expensive side , but i guess as they are he only ones that can supply Internet. But customer service is always very good.

Satellite will be more expensive that standard ADSL broadband due to the amount of funding that has been ploughed into the new Technology. We installed satellite broadband after months of problems with broadband reception via our BT landline (we live in rural Somerset) which culminated with BT saying they were unable to reinstate the connection at all. We chose Europasat on the recommendation of a neighbour who had had similar problems. We now have a reliable service with a speed of about 6.2, sometimes a bit lower during periods of heavy usage. This is hugely better than anything we ever obtained via the landline. We can catch up on missed TV programmes for instance without any interruption. Service contact at Europasat is also easy to reach, pleasant and helpful, in contrast to the nightmare of dealing with BT! Only negative to mention is the quality of connection when using Skype which we do frequently for overseas family calls. Sometimes it is excellent with minimal delay, but more often the delay and poor picture quality makes it difficult. We are still experimenting to discover what causes this, whether heavy traffic or connection problems at one or other end. This may be a feature of all satellite broadband connections, but check it out if Skype is important to you.

I am happy with the broadband service, the speed is excellent and enough for all I need to do on the internet. There are times when friends are staying that the allowance is insufficient and It would be good to be able to increase the allowance during these periods. I know you can buy extra but this is a very expensive option.

I am happy with the service. However, I do think it would be useful if any unused broadband allocation could roll over to the following month. Perhaps working on the basis of (in my case) 360 GB per year.
