I would have to say that I am quite disappointed with the service provided. Despite a signing up for a package costing almost €60 per month, download speeds of well below 1mbps are common. Overall I believe that this product is very poor value for money.

The system is very good. Many times the speed exceeds the quoted 20 mbps and we have only found it slow on few occasions. The reason for the Poor rating is purely that we have had a fault on the system since installation (although it does work). The router flashes an error and the reporting system tells us there is an error with the power of the system. Despite being told 5 times that a new router would be posted, 4 months on we are still waiting and although in the early days we had replies, now we do not even get a reply to the many many emails we have sent.

Great service. Not sure why I need to get emails each month, one telling me an invoice has been created and then another telling me it has automatically been paid.

I have reset the password on your Client Portal and have emailed this through to you. You can log on to the Portal and add new card details in the My Details section of your Portal. Very overpriced but we're held to ransom as have no alternative land line facilities. Speeds are often slow - particularly at weekends when no customer support available. No refunds given when there are technical difficulties. But I suppose we do have Internet access after a fashion.

Satellite will be more expensive that standard ADSL broadband due to the amount of funding that has been ploughed into the new Technology. However, we are hoping that this will reduce as the option becomes more 'mainstream'. The speeds you are receiving could be due to the amount of people on the network at any given time as this is a shared network and for this reason, we cannot guarantee any kind of headline speeds. This is also why your speeds may be lower during the late afternoon till late at night simply due to the amount of people using the bandwidth. Please also be aware that the services is an up-to service which means the 20MB/s is not a guaranteed speed. This is stated in our terms and conditions which can be found at: https://www.europasat.com/support/about-us/terms-conditions/. Our opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 8am until 6pm and 10am until 4pm on a Sunday. Europasat provide a good service. But two unfortunate developments over the past 8/9 months prevent me giving more than a "normal" rating. First, being locked out of one's own account and not being able to access it while overseas despite multiple messages in both directions. Second, I really dislike being charged for 2 months when I use the service for one month. To me, that is close to profiteering, even if it is stated in the terms and conditions. I'm sure it is not beyond the capability of Europasat to redesign charges so we pay only what we use, without Europasat's profits being affected.

Hi Maurice. Thanks for taking the time to respond to our survey. The two months' minimum connection is set by the satellite owner. The system is designed for constant connection and allowing 'holiday home connection' is something that we try and cater for. However, ensuring that there is a minimum of two months' connection allows the engineers to estimate up-coming data requirements. We are occasionally asked for weekly connection periods by our customers because they are only at their properties for that amount of time. You can understand that we need to have set rules to ensure that all customers have as fair access to broadband provision as is possible. Kind Regards The Europasat Team

Have had the system for 3 years,initially very expensive first year then became more affordable.Reliable service with good speeds.major criticism. Is exorbitant charges when wanting to reduce monthly capacity.Seems customer gets penalized heavily when wanting to reduce capacity but reasonable charges when wishing to increase capacity.Unable to understand logic behind this other than "Greed".Come on let's have a bit of fairness all around especially for longstanding customers.

This is a great service but please be aware that the internet provision has a short time delay so is NOT suitable at all for gaming. This specific limitation was not explained to us when we purchased the satellite. However, Europasat did agree to us reducing our usage to £10 per month low usage which is still useful for us as a backup. An excellent bit of kit at an affordable price but with usage limitations. Great customer service.

During the flooding of 2012/13 on the Somerset Levels , Europasat installed a satellite system for our support staff on site, it worked straight off and I was given all the information I needed when it had to be moved during the emergency. We had no problem with the system at all and also gave us good download speeds.

Being a company supplying internet access all over Europe must create its own challenge's, but for me everything went very smoothly from the order, delivery of kit and help and advice regarding satellite dish pointing it could not have been better.

Very Erratic speeds, Never reaches the advertised apparent speed. Very high cost for a mediocre service. Plus hidden charges when changing package, not defined clearly enough in the agreement.

However, the maximum speeds are achievable at varied times. When it is working it is an excellent system. Often however the speed drops dramatically making it almost unusable for me. As broadband is critical to my work I have had to install a BT back up connection, which although slower does always work. This does double my cost which means me paying another £300 a year, which is not satisfactory

Everything worked well straight out of the box. Once connected the service appears to be working exactly as specified. A relief after years of struggling with a poor adsl service.

As an occasional user but a heavy user 4 times per annum I would prefer to be able to purchase a package that is a minimum fee for connection every month followed by the ability to increase my bandwidth and useage when I need it. I am paying the same amount every month when I only use the service for about 3 months of the year.

I have been very pleased with the service provided by EuropaSat. The system works well and the staff are responsive and helpful. After a very negative experience with another satellite internet provider, it is great to have made the switch to EuropaSat. Trina deserves a special mention for her fast responses and efficiency.

Europasat as a business are very good. They respond to your queries and help as best as they can. No complaints there. Sadly the service (via satellite) that I was promised was a 20MBPS service but sometimes it takes 30 seconds to even turn a page. I am being told i am getting between 4-6MBPS on average but, sadly, i can't see how this is possible as my son-in-law has 1.5 MBPS and it is lightning compared to this service.
