Search facility was good although choosing the right size of glove was difficult as some items seemed to have a separate entry for each size.

I see that the Reading Store has experienced some poor reviews, my experience however has been VERY different. Brad, Robbie and other members of the team have been very helpful in processing my order, preparing my bike(s) and resolving a few minor oversights. I am not easily pleased, and would have stated my concerns forcefully if necessary, however as previously stated my experience with Evans Cycles Reading has been positive and I would shop with them again without a second thought. Only interested in selling me a new bike. offered no help with maintenance on an old bike. Seemed to me that they wanted commission on sales rather than just fixing an old wheel. Felt like I was being given short service so he could serve the people behind who wanted a new bike. Left the shop without what I came in for, and had to find an alternate solution. Given this experience I wouldn't buy a new bike from them either

Really good customer service, good email communication and the ability to get through to the store you are close to, made the purchases I have made recently a breeze!

Evans Plymouth - they take forever to do even the most minor of work - I has spokes pop on my new bike which i purchased through them from Cyclescheme - the back wheel was covered under warranty. They have had my bike for two weeks. I even gave them the warranty phone number and confirmed that the manufacturers had agreed a warranty replacement. They are so completely disorganised and useless. I will not be using them again.

Guildford store are great. I ordered a bike in Feb and I really cannot fault the service. Staff were really helpful and assisted with everything from set up to accessories. I have been back several times and always received the same great level of service. I was due to ride the 100 and discovered a flat and hole in my tyre the day before. Fraser was great he fitted the new tyres for me and didn't charge me anything other than the product cost. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend

Terrible customer service, sent me the wrong product (wrong color) and insisted I will return it before sending a replacement. Needed it urgently so I had to stay with ehat I got. Won't buy there again.

Maidstone Store i ordered some GoPro bits on line and was rung by what seemed to be the orst communicator ive ever heard.. to say the parts were in..i looked forward to going as i was keen to purchase a new bike..they couldn't find my package..then it turned up..i was looking a bikes, noone took any notice, i then had to ask a question and got a totally disinterested answer.. i walked out taking my £750 elsewhere...can't believe the lack of interest...

Shocking customer service in Maidenhead store today. I called store and was told they would have a look at my gears if I brought in my bike, it would likely take a couple of minutes. When I arrived at after a 30 minute drive the supervisor point blank refused to look at the bike. He said I'd need to book it in for a service even though he hadn't even looked at the bike. He didn't seemed bothered that a member of staff had said it would likely take a couple of minutes to fix and I should bring it in!! I find service at Evans patchy depending on the store and staff......I bought my £2k road bike from them, probably go somewhere else next time.

Just collected my Specialized hybrid from the Reading store. I was served by Ella C who was absolutely fantastic, she was extremely knowledgeable and helped to set the bike up for me. I purchased lights and a cage from Instore, she helpful fitted these for me without asking. Great staff like this means I will be a repeat customer, and will deafinatley recommend this store to all. Great work Ella.

I ordered and paid a bike on 10th April. Four days later I received an email saying that the bike was out of stock. After a few emails I decided to order another bike, which was more expensive and for which I was offered a small discount. I then asked if I could pay on delivery, but I was told to call and make the payment in order to proceed with the order. I called 3 times and left a message on the answer machine. No one got back to me. I then decided to go to the local store, when I could finally proceed with the order, but they say it would take 3 weeks for the bike to arrive. The day before I collected the bike, I received a phone call from the store and I was told that unfortunately the bike had been sent without the basket that was coming with it. I collected the bike and decided to wait for the basket. After not hearing for weeks, I called the shop and explained to a guy the situation. He tried to find out about my basket. From the warehouse they keep saying that the basket was sent with the bike, while at the store they say they don't have it. The warehouse has even tried to sent another (much worse) basket that doesn't even fit my bike. Result? Nearly 2 months after my first order I still don't have what I want. What I found most frustrating is that the customer service does not care about the customers at all. They don't seem to realize the inconvenience and waste of time that they have caused to me.
