This has been the worst customer service and quality of work I have ever had. I will NEVER use this business again! He is a recap... I did my phone consult, was told to drop off my content on a Saturday. Upon arrival, at a third party drop off location, the employee didn't even know how to turn on the computer to begin my transaction. I was then told pick-ups are on Friday, now my media has to sit in the store for an additional week before pick-up. Then upon pick-up, it would be an additional 7-10 days before I heard back from the company (never disclosed during my consult). Once I did receive a phone call, I was told I couldn't receive the services I wanted which I made clear during my original phone consult. Then, I finally am notified they are working on my media, I was told they can't find my original vhs tape which I provided them my only copy! They were like, we probably have it...just can't tell for a couple of days. What?! You don't know if you have my only copy! UNACCAPTABLE! Then, I receive my media back in the mail. I do not have the multiple thumb drives I requested, I am missing a video outright. And now, I am uploading this to my computer and part of my video is missing altogether!!!!!!!! What in the actual heck is going on?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am livid. This company has wasted my time, my money, and caused a lot of stress that was completely avoidable. ZERO stars...EPIC FAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was told they would be in touch...they have outright ghosted me.

Unfortunately this was a very bad experience. Very difficult to speak to anyone at company. I tried via phone and e mail with no response. I paid over $2000. 00 for this large job of my family’s pictures and films and the original estimate was $1200.00. It appeared that the quality was not enhanced at all, the audio was missing in large areas (that was good on original)and so many doubles. The labeling was not even close to what was on tape.They copied 20 tapes that were old tv shows that my kids had taped over family film's. That’s when it was evident that absolutely no one was paying attention. I had told the company representatives originally that over taping might have happened and I was told if this was noted I would receive a call to discuss. I dropped the job off in October and was told it would be complete by Christmas. When it came to the week before Christmas and I still did not hear back from them I really pressed for at least a call back regarding status. Within a few days the job suddenly was complete without anyone again calling me back. It seemed to us that the job was forgotten and suddenly just done without any one even looking at what they were copying and absolutely no effort. This was something that I had been looking to do for years and finally decided to go with this company obviously I chose wrong. I have contacted them again and asked to speak to someone and have not heard back at all. Horrible company I suspect this is just done by AI with no human involvement. Pat

Pictures were skewed, full page articles were unreadable in different areas, some pictures were damaged. Certainly not worth the money paid. Not the level of quality I was promised. Glad I didn’t pay $7600 for all 35 albums I have.

I could never download the video from the flash grove. Took it to The Geek Squad and two other people. They claim there was no video on the flash’ drive. A total waste of money

Had, issues with girl on phone, pushing me to do things over phone when she called. I said I will do it online, but had to tell her more than once. My fault tape had master written on it, emailed before project was done in very beginning and was told that is what will be written on it. Took final payment out and no one ever told me was done until I followed up 3 weeks later . First project was amazing, 2nd will make me not come back

The most expensive service around. I was quoted a little $400 and was charged over $600 for 12 small DVD's to a UBS and that's with a 20% discount. You do not even get an individual UBS per tape they put everything on one.

This was my first time using a service to scan some older negatives from back when I was shooting film. I have been a professional photographer for over 30 years and all my negatives are in very good condition. My project had 18 medium format negatives and two 4x5 negatives to be scanned.. They were requested to be scanned at their highest resolution, 4000 dpi.. The files I received are quite low in resolution. In addition, all the images have been severely cropped. Only about 50-60% of each negative appears in the image. At 4000 dpi I would figure these files should be much larger. One of the 4x5 negatives files is also 8MB and one is 21MB. Why the difference? None of the files I received are usable. They are low resolution and severely cropped. I have tried contacting customer service a number of times by both email and phone but have only received one call back. The agent said she would look into my problem and get back to me the next day. That was 4 days ago. I have left another message on their customer support line but no answer. I have spent over $240 for 20 unusable files and zero customer support.

I asked for black and white prints and a cd. 400.00 dollars and I got nothing but online photos that I had to download to my computer. Something is'nt right. I decided not to have anything more to do with this company.

Part of my order was Sony handycam tapes. They incorrectly converted - dead give away is no sound with picture running too fast. Rather than fix the issue, they would only redo the conversion if I agreed to PAY THEM if they did it incorrectly again - it would be "free" only if they managed to trip over the correct conversion which I thought was unlikely. They say it's "digital corruption" which is amazing that it recreates exactly what happens when you run the tape at the incorrect speed. "Consultants" you talk to barely know technical details yet proport to be experts. Extremely disappointing given they are so expensive! I had used them in the past on different formats and they were okay but this is certainly the last time. Going to use the offshored companies instead of local - although I picked them so I would not have to ship original media.

Please check Better Business Bureau before you entrust your personal and precious memories or important things to this company I had use Ever present to turn cassette into DVD they sent me wrong cassette back and DVD they couldn't find my original cassette sent them previous memories of my mommy that passed are gone! They accused me of tapping over tape and kept insisting it was my tape! Do not trust them with your precious memories!

After sending my film to this company,I was quoted $400 for my job. I approved and a few days later they called saying they had made a mistake and it was now $4000. Enough said.

My Super8 films were never cleaned before they were digitized. The amount of dust is staggering. I would have cleaned them myself before submitting but I don’t even have rewind tools anymore.

I would not recommend this company. I have to say that I am disappointed in the quality of the finished product. I was promised that the upgrade would significantly improve the final digital images. It seems worse than the 8mm and CD of the original film. The cost was more than I wanted, but the salesperson said I would love the final product. They missed the mark!

I've already expressed my discontent with your company twice. I went to Northboro to pick up my package & only my VCR tapes were in the box. I was sent an email during the week to pick up my USB stick. Went back to Northboro the following weekend, nothing there. I called your company & was told that you never sent an email to me & that you'd mail my USB plug to me before Thanksgiving so I could have it for my family. Well THAT didn't happen either! I received it the day AFTER Thanksgiving which didn't allow me to show it to family. I'm incredibly disappointed with your company, and the fact that I never received any apology or compensation for this totally botched delivery. Would NOT recommend your company to anyone. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with Everpresent. I asked for a 1:1 transfer of VHS tapes to DVDs. For VHS tapes I received the single tape split up across several DVDs, rather than 1 DVD which is what I was expecting (a 1:1 ratio like I had asked for). I wish I had known that beforehand. And for any content of VHS tapes that has to be split across DVDs, it would be nice if there was an option for a Menu to be added to the DVD to select where to navigate to on the DVD rather than having to fast forward through content. The price I was charged at the completion of the project was 57% higher than the proposal I received. If there is no transparency in the what the final, actual price will realistically be, why bother providing an estimate? In the first phone call (Nov 2023), I was told that if I had less than about 20 tapes then they could be delivered prior to Christmas. I sent 16 tapes from my collection. The customer service rep had incorrectly captured my email address during the first phone call (which I didn't know at the time). Only after 2 subsequent calls initiated by me was this error discovered. Subsequently my order was waitlisted and not delivered until after Christmas. Needless to say, I have been extremely disappointed with Everpresent and your customer service throughout the entire process.

Beware of being overcharged!! Sent Everpresent 488 feet of film total on 4, 3" reels (full), 2, 5" reels (not full) and 1, 7" reel (not full). Estimate was for 1000 feet. Put deposit down, said they'd adjust the price once it was processed in full and they can measure how many feet was processed. Never got a final bill, only an additional charge on my CC. Emailed multiple times and get back some boiler plate answer. Will never be using this company again.
