“Got the Mk1 version for my HTC One (M7) back when this was a kickstarter and it protected my screen very well. Now got one for my LG G4 and I must say these later versions seem much nicer - thinner, no score marks, easy to apply and well fitting. It does attract a bit of dust/fluff around the speaker cut-out and the edges and it's not quite as finger/smudge resistant as you'd hope but it does the job and if it works as well as the Mk1 at protecting my screen, i'll be more than happy (my phones usually get a bit of abuse).”
“I ordered the RhinoShield bundle from Evolutive Labs for my new Galaxy S6.
Having looked at a wide range of covers and cases that are available I decided to go for something that offered maximum protection, as I've had occasional accidents with previous phones where either the screen or casing has been damaged.
My work phone came with an OtterBox, which makes it quite big and bulky so whilst the RhinoShield wasn't the cheapest option I've still got a smart looking mobile that looks like a phone rather than a house brick.
Considering it was shipped from the US, the item arrived quicker than I imagined it would and was relatively easy to fit.
Now I have the added peace of mind that my phone should stand up to everyday life and still look as good at the end of my contract term as it does now.”
“The iphone 6 protector is great although the edge around the home button is a little sharp. The nexus 5 protector I'm not so happy with. I have now had 2 of them and both come away at the edges. Part of the issue is that the iphone protectors are slightly smaller as rhinoshield make a bumper for them. For other brands they produce a 'full screen' protector. Any case you put on to the phone is then liable to push the protector away from the screen at the sides and the edges. Ideally they need to make the protectors smaller so that they all fit like the iphone 6 version. Honestly who's buying a screen protector but not a case?”
“So, after doing a lot of research on what case I should snuggle my iPhone 6 Plus in, it all came down to the rhinoshield. I never knew such a simple, non bulky case would do the trick, but it did. The only flaw I've seen is that the screen protectors get scratched easily but besides that everything is on the up & up. Would recommend it. My phone feels safe yet slim.”
“The screen protector and the crash guard both is very good against shock or accidental drop.
However, the area above the mute button is fragile.
I switch off the crash guard every 3-4 mois to clean my iphone, and the crash guard too.
The third time I switch off the crash guard, I see the area above the mute button has cracked.
I got 2 iphones with the crash guard, I got the same problem with both of them...”
“Love the bumper. There demonstration video sold me on it. Drop from 24 feet onto concrete and the phone still works... That's impressive. And not gaudy and big like an otterbox.”
