Info for licensing should be sent with the scooter. When I called to inquire, customer service was rude and not very helpful. Certificate of origin comes from an outside source who is unresponsive to emails. Finally, 5 weeks after sending in my info, I finally received my paperwork for licensing. Still haven’t gotten the touch up paint that I requested a month ago for the scratches received durning transport. Customer service is lacking in all areas. Making your own temp license seems like an easy thing to do on a computer! ;)

1 month so far since I received my scooter and still no title...So it is useless to me because I can't register it. I bought this to take to the beach for the summer, the summer is over now. I have sent several emails over the past month to the titles email address without even an acknowledgement. When I called the support number they said the reason it takes so long is because they need to receive the paperwork from the warehouse in Texas. That doesn't justify this amount of time. If it said anywhere on the website that it was going to take this long I would have ordered from somewhere else. Infact, it says on the site "you will receive a response back from your email the same day or the next day" after sending an email with your information, and she usually turns it around the next day... Other sites that I was looking at list that the mco comes in the box when it gets delivered. I also had an issue when I received the scooter where it would die a few seconds after starting. I entered a support request and got a response to send a video, which I did. Then, silence.... that was also almost a month ago. I sent several followup emails before I gave up and ordered a new carburetor myself. I don't mind having to order my own parts, gy6s are easy and cheap to fix. That's one of the reasons I ordered this scooter. And I expected this from the other reviews I read. The most frustrating part is that I have no control over getting the title and these people don't seem to care now that they have my money and know noone is going to pay to ship these things back. If you're reading this I'll wave the 60 day warranty if that's why you're taking so long I just want my title....

It has been almost 2 months since I purchased my moped and I was told yesterday that it could be another six weeks by the time I get my title by then the 60 day warranty will have expired these people are criminals and they’re very rude

Worse customer service by far that I have ever had the displeasure of contacting. Problems from the start. They couldn’t tell me if I had ordered or not, right after confirming my order. Then, they sent it via semi without the gate service I paid for, they shipped my service kit to the wrong address after specified not to. They still have yet to make anything right. And I’m still waiting for them to send me both service kits one as a complimentary and the other that I paid for and a new manifold. Garbage from the start. Nobody there could tell their head from their A** as far as I’m concerned. Good Christian company at its finest…..

The WORSE company EVER. Do NOT buy anything from this company. The woman that can ONLY answer a phone is rude. I have emailed and called to talk to a Techsupport person, but can't get a response. Final was able to get an answer and a price for a new battery but I felt that I shouldn't have to pay $20 in shipping. Its not like I demand it for free. I just felt with the lack of customer service that you should atleast making things right in the end. The other problem is that you have to call them back and give them your credit card information. So, they can send a message to a different person who you are not allowed to speak with and then that person charges your credit card. After that, you will get an email with a confirmation. I don't understand why I can't just talk to the person I need to ask question about the product, the person who will be submitting the order and the person who will be charging my card???? Thats the only way this company functions. Along with being told to find someone else, don't call back, and I'll make sure no one will answer the phone for you. I never yelled or cursed at the woman. I was only asking questions. But I guess I was messing up her Saturday by calling.

Buyers beware! Terrible customer service and they do NOT stand behind their product. We ordered one color received another even after verifying by phone the right color. Description stated the quad to be much bigger than it actually is. What a joke. They offered a full refund if we payed to ship it back only after I got PayPal involved before that they just ignored me after my initial complaint.

When we were first ordering our GoKart I had nothing but good things to say. Super quick to respond to questions and fantastic updating us through the process of getting the product shipped. We have had nothing but issues since. Our children have ridden the GoKart maybe 5 times and it is now completely broken due to a bent gear and the chain falling off every time you take off to drive. We have created support tickets and called multiple times and we cannot get anyone to help us. It has been over a month since we started trying to contact them. Horrible customer service and very disappointed with our purchase. Huge waste of money

Bike came scratched but was going to keep it anyway because I waited two weeks for the delivery when I called to get my title they told me I would have to wait another 4 to 7 weeks which is something I was not told when I made the purchase or else I would’ve never made the purchase if I knew I had to wait two months to ride my moped

I would not purchase a nut or bolt from this company. I spent $8000 on UTV cardboard was not damaged when we opened it up the radiator was totally damaged. Pictures were taken same day we received it. Still in the box not put together yet for proof. I made multiple phone calls and emails. Clearly clearly this company does not stand behind there sales. Please people do not purchase from this company if there is any damage they will not stand behind it. Do not buy anything that you cannot put your eyes on. They just left me hanging until I gave up.

Jeff and the crew at Family Go Carts were amazing in helping me source a Vitacci Rover part that I was struggling to source anywhere else. It seemed many of the River vendors were unable to assist or offer any help. Jeff doesn’t even sell the River but was able to reach out to Vitacci directly and source the part I needed. I will definitely be going directly back to Jeff for any parts I need in the future. Thank you! We will be able to enjoy this summer on our cart.

The entire experience has been enjoyable. Any questions or concerns were quickly addressed and resolved. They’re respectful and patient, two things missing in this go-go-go world. When the desired product fell victim to too much demand without adequate supply, a very good alternative was suggested and the monies already paid were easily applied. They have definitely earned my business.

I received my product and I noticed a corner of the crate was pushed in. After unpacking the go kart I found damaged parts and paint. I filed a damage report and provided all necessary pictures and documents. The response when I finally received one was unbelievable. They blamed the trucking company and stated because I didn’t note it on the shipper receipt nothing they can do. Oh they can sell me the damaged parts at cost, no mention of adjustment for the damaged paint. I wrote them and explained (not that common sense would come in to play) hard to see any damage till product was unpacked! I tried contacting them by phone was repeatedly told we will call you back, which ever happened just excuse after excuse. I never realized I purchased the go kart from the trucking company! Whatever happened to doing the right thing and take care of the customer. This purchase was not cheap $1400.00 hard earned. In closing if you have damage you are on your own, unless you have x-ray eyes and can see through the packaging!! I’m sure they don’t care about my review.

Date of Transaction:10/03/2020 Purchased 2021 Amigo Scooter Paid additional shipping fee Received Scooter and the odometer was not working, contacted Jeff and was terrible to deal with. We figured out the cable for the Scooter was missing. We have been emailing back and forth (only way to get in touch with customer service) Received this email:Jeff Backer (FamilyGoKarts.com Support) Mar 18, 2021, 12:18 PM CDT (Purchased in Oct. 2020) I apologize for the delay. We have had a high volume of requests and are working as fast as we can. The manufacturer covers the missing and warranty parts, however they do not cover the complete cost of shipping. There is a reduced flat rate shipping of only $9.95. How would you like to pay the 9.95? The missing part is the responsibility of Family Go Karts this is not a warranty issue, We never received it! This is unacceptable for this issue to take this long and to ask us to pay for shipping when it is their fault!
