“Penny is an excellent tutor. She quickly identified that I was lacking in confidence and encouraged me to try regardless and offered tips on how to deal with situations where my vocabulary was missing. Penny also went the extra mile by doing online research for various resources that she felt would help me. I really enjoyed my lessons as they were fun, interesting and we laughed while learning. I now feel much more confident in my language skills. Thanks Penny!”

“The website was easy to navigate. Found several tutors that suited what I was looking for. Made contact and had a tutor lined up within 24hours. Then went back on the site and paid the intro fee. All easy , no fuss would recommend to others.”

“My son did not want to carry on after the first lesson. I emailed to First Tutor enquire if I should pay administration fee again if I found another one. But you didn't reply me . That's why I rated it poor”

“Better than many other sites. First Tutors is an efficient and fast way to find the right tutor for your needs. The filters First Tutors use enables you to narrow your search down to subject, level and exam board as well as location. But what I really value is the ability to correspond with potential tutors before making a decision. I was able to determine whether the people on my shortlist had experience in teaching the exam board and individual paper for which I was seeking help. Highly recommended.”
