Hamper ordered on 14th December which has still to be delivered. Tracking system unable to give any information on likely delivery date and email response I had from your support line said we don't know when your order will be delivered and by the way 'don't send another email or reply as this will delay our response'. Accept times are difficult but if BoroughBox can not provide approximate delivery times, STOP TAKING ORDERS. Hope the delivery arrives before Easter!

I read the message on the website telling us delivery was delayed due to COVID -19 and they were not delivering the usual next day. I placed an order on the 8th December and it allowed me to choose a delivery date of the 14th December. This was perfect as the event my delivery was for was on the 21st December. Nothing arrived on the 14th December and I then got stuck in an endless loop of Borough Box telling me they had been dispatched to the courier and the courier telling me they had not received the parcels. This went on for days and was very frustrating. The only thing that Borough Box did well was refund me when I eventually got fed of this round and round!

The ordering and the delivery were easy and arrived as said. The spices were a Christmas present for my son in law and have not yet been given as ´sadly’ the Christmas celebrations planned in Dorset had to be cancelled because of London in Tier 4. I am sending them by post today! You might get 5 stars when l hear from him !

While a little pricey, these saucisson from the French Comte are delicious and were part of a Christmas treat. Delivery was excellent, they came well packaged and in good time, despite postal disruptions. Only giving 4 out of 5 stars due to receiving two of the same type saucisson, rather than two different types that I ordered. Luckily, the one we received is the recipient’s favourite!

I ordered 6 boxes on 10th Dec for delivery on 17th Dec (the day before our Zoom office party). None of them arrived. I'd emailed Borough Box but didn't get a reply. On 19th Dec I got some emails saying I could track the packages - but when I clicked on the link there was no information. 4 of the boxes were delivered on 23rd Dec - whcih was too late as everyone, myself included had already been to the shops to buy our Christmas food. So now we had double Christmas puddings, smoked salmon etc. Which was very disappointing. 2 orders - 1 of which was to the same address as an order was previously received, arrived on 31st Dec! 3 weeks after I placed the order. Who needs lots of nice treats just as we're starting diets in January - again very disappointing in terms of the timing and lack of communication from Borough Box. Had I known, I would have ordered something else.

I placed an order on December 13 and still haven’t received the gift! The gift was for Christmas! No personal service just email after email saying how busy they are!! Rubbish service, rubbish all round! Will not be using again!!

The actual box and its contents were great - I got the gin box and it was fantastic, great value for money and really well presented. However unfortunately I ordered for my Christmas party (ordered on the 7th December to be delivered on the 15th for the party on the 18th) and it didn't arrive until 22nd December. So I had to go out and buy something additional for the party, putting me out of pocket. There was also no communication from BoroughBox to say when it would arrive or that it was even delayed. A shame, as otherwise it would have been spot on!

My review does not concern the quality of your product but reflects my severe disappointment that you took my order for hampers on 9th December - you informed me that they had shipped on 19th although Yodel could not confirm that they had received them. Your communication was extremely poor and my order finally arrived on 31st. I realise that you had problems but am very unimpressed by the way you dealt with them

Placed a Christmas gift order on 13 December. 4th Jan and still not delivered. Email responses extremely slow, vague and inaccurate. Phonecalls ignored. Would avoid this organisation at all costs. About to contact Trading Standards.

I didn't see the product, as i had ordered 4 x gifts for employees. But they seemed to enjoy the hampers, so I have nothing to add to that. But delivery needs looking at. I got an acknowledgement when I placed the order, and then a few days later another email came in saying how busy y'all are, but nonetheless still hoping to get everything out before Xmas. Not exactly encouraging, given I'd ordered in good time. Then came a flurry of emails from your delivery company, NONE of which were linked to what I'd ordered. Surely they could have included some basic details like an order number. Luckily, everything was delivered in time, but I was left marginally anxious until such point as all boxes were delivered. Amazon is the gold standard when it comes to this sort of thing, but many of us want to shop local and support local businesses. Please make it easier for us.

Bought BBQ spice box set as gift for Christmas. Recipients loved the item. Goods were presented in nice gift box. Ordering from site was easy and kept fully updated by company regarding dispatch. Item arrived on time.

My order has never arrived, despite the team telling me it would arrive on time. Simply no communication from BoroughBox despite contacting them several times. Very disappointed and will never order again. By the way, they still have my money and I can't figure out how to get it back

5 items ordered on 13th December, items from other two sellers from the site arrived in good time but 3 weeks later I'm still waiting for the item sold by BoroughBox. I have had one generic communication apologising generally for delays due to Covid but if other sellers can manage in these difficult times why not BoroughBox too? This item is now obviously way too late to be the stocking filler it was intended to be.

I am afraid I haven’t received the item yet. I ordered it before Xmas expecting it before Xmas. Sadly it didn’t arrive. It was then dispatched on the 24th, still waiting for delivery.

I placed an order on 10th December for delivery on the 24th December and it hasn't even started shipping - it was an expensive purchase and I expected a 5 to 7 day delay as advised...it has now been 12 days delayed and counting. Thoroughly disappointed and will probably not use this service again!
