Understood that due to increased demand that my order was going to be delayed and was notified, unfortunately this was a Christmas gift and so was not received on time. I contacted borough box to change the delivery address to go straight to the recipient as due lockdown and tier changes I wasn’t going to see the recipient. Unfortunately borough box did not respond to my requests and today I have received this. Very frustrating as I now need to pay to forward it on

Fail to deliver orders placed well before Christmas, then follow up with statements like "due to the unprecedented amount of queries we’re receiving, we’ve temporarily turned off our phone lines, and are not able to monitor our social accounts" and "Please note that this mailbox is automated and unmanned" -- speaks for itself.

Whilst the product is very good, after ordering on 11th December 2020 and requesting a delivery date of 18th December 2020, I received no communication from BoroughBox despite numerous emails and communications from me requesting an update. I did receive a standard email to inform me that they were extremely busy and working 24/7 and that orders made before 13th December 2020 would be delivered by Christmas. I received a notification that my delivery was sent to the courier but then the details never appeared on the tracking. The order arrived on 5th January 2021 without any warning. I have had no communication from BoroughBox about any possible refund for the inconvenience of receiving these items so late.

Even though I was disappointed that I didn't receive my order in time for Christmas, when I did receive my order yesterday I was more than pleased. Beautifully presented and such good value for money - a full size bottle of Cornish Gin, a lovely glass and two varieties of mixers which I can't wait to try! I would definitely recommend Borough Box 100% and will be ordering again.

Ordered by published date Received email 22/12 saying may not be able to deliver Emailed 22/12 to cancel as del was Xmas gifts to a work address - no response Checked 29/12 product out of stock reiterated cancellation sent email same day - no response WFH - yes most of are but we are making responses to customers as we realise how important communication! One gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited on confirmation of cancellation! Just had comms from yodel saying a parcel is being delivered to work address - presumably this is a delivery of out of season tat! Which was cancelled! Reminder to self after disappointing experience and lack of customer service I will take my custom elsewhere, like farmison who offered a superlative service and quality

The ease of ordering and the box itself was lovely, but the communication was terrible. I had an email to say my box had been dispatched but it turned up weeks late, with no tracking information showing all the time I was waiting, and when I emailed the team to enquire I was completely ignored and didn't receive a reply. Whilst I can appreciate things were a little crazy at Christmas for deliveries, and can be understanding of a delay, I am not very understanding as to why my email was ignored.

This company is appalling. Having spent £950 in early December my orders have still not been received despite being guaranteed before Christmas. These items were specifically for Christmas and are pointless now. They are not responding to emails or phone calls and now they want me to review how 'fantastic' they are! I have asked for a refund 3 times now and still no response and still no goods have been delivered. No option on this form for 0 stars. How can I review products or services when I have received neither. Do not order from here.

Ordered 3 Hampers on the 11 Dec for arrival before 24 Dec (which was before original cutoff date for orders for Xmas). Notified that orders had been processed on 22 & 23 Dec and expect delivery by 24 Dec. Finally 1 order turned up on 31 Dec and we are STILL WAITING for the other 2 orders as of 6 Jan 2021 !!!

Found BoroughBox by accident after searching the internet for reasonably priced food gift sets for Christmas presents. Bought a spice rub set for a young couple who enjoy cooking and when they opened the gift there was real pleasure and excitement as they discussed the individual tubs. No issues with ordering on the internet or the delivery of the parcel so if I want to purchase similar items in the future I will definitely look at BoroughBox web site. Thank you for 5 star service.

The product itself looks good quality, I believe the recipient was pleased. Unfortunately I ordered on 11th December for delivery by 23rd December and it wasn't delivered until 5th Jan! I did email as well as I had 2 tracking numbers sent to me and neither worked, but no response - but perhaps still closed for Xmas.

Awesome La Raclette, ordered the standard plus an 18 months matured, as a Christmas gift. They were overjoyed and said it was even better than the ones they’d bought in France! Praise indeed as the recipient is from Provence. Delivered just before Christmas Eve too....so completely delight with the whole experience. Thank you!!!!

Delivery far far longer than promised. Plus they do not respond to emails. Email query sent on 23rd December. As of 5th January there has been no reply. DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM
