“Arrived in a large box padded out with lots of packaging, however this served to safely protect the half dozen items inside which were all presented attractively and provided an inviting selection of chocolate treats which I gave as a Christmas gift. I was kept well informed via email with the delivery situation in relation to the busy Christmas order season”

“I did have an issue with an order being incorrect. It took a few attempts to get through on the phone. Order was corrected and arrived within 24 hours. Hats off to these guys for putting it right so fast and my missing order arrived on Christmas Eve. Excellent customer service. Despite reading some of the negative reviews here, I would not hesitate using this company again as the products are unique and great value.”

“Out of 3 gifts ordered, only one arrived on time. Another arrived later than chosen date. The third, and most expensive item, has not yet arrived, despite being ordered on 5th December for a 23rd December chosen delivery date. Still waiting for a reply to email sent over a week ago. Terrible customer service. Clearly BoroughBox took on more orders than they could fulfill. Other companies were more honest and stopped taking orders. I would not recommend BoroughBox and will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.”

“Fantastic product the recipient was delighted with it. The only issue I have is that I would have liked it to be delivered Christmas week and not as soon as I ordered it. I did send an email to request this but had no reply. That said I would use Borough Box again.”

“Ordered as a Christmas present and the recipients were delighted with the very generous contents of the box. We were kept updated by BoroughBox about delivery and that took quite a bit of worry away, especially as hampers ordered at the same time from different suppliers have yet to arrive with their recipient. I shall definitely place further orders now that I'm sure they are a reliable source. Thank you very much.”

“Excellent customer service. The company contacted me by e mail to say that the order would be late and gave an estimated delivery date. They gave the option to cancel. New delivery date was acceptable. The order arrived on that date. Would use again.”

“I've tried contacting the company but no success and have yet to get the present I ordered the beginning of December to be delivered in Launceston Cornwall, and it's now Xmas Eve , my friends will not be getting there chocolates, and I havent had any reason when or why they havent been delivered or any explanation or offer of a refund . Very disappointed.”

“The irony of sending a review email when I’ve not received my order is the only positive to this. Ordered on the 7th December, I had a dispatch notification on 14th but the tracking with Yodel says they are still waiting to receive from yourselves. The fact you closed your phone lines shows you’ve not dealt with this well, you should’ve halted orders and sorted the backlog.”
