DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This company is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with! Absolutely incompetent and customer service is a disgrace. My van insurance auto renewed in January. In the week leading up to the renewal I had a bump in my personal car which at first wasn’t going to go through insurance as the lady that was involved didn’t want to go through insurance My van renewed with freedom then on 7th feb I get an email informing me that my insurance will be cancelled on the 14th feb. I got in touch with freedom on live chat and on the phone not one person could tell me why it was going to be cancelled. Days of phone calls and live chat and and told I would be phoned back numerous times by a manager which never happened a total inconvenience to myself as trying to work and sort it out. I finally got in contact with the underwriters who told me I had a claim that I should have told them about even though the claim was on my car and happened after the van renewal. On the 13th feb I was told the insurance wouldn’t be cancelled and I think that was that and the end of it. Then I get an email saying to contact them I got in contact on live chat and was told someone would ring me back. Guess what I never got the call. And then yesterday 7th march I get an email saying a change to my policy. So I get in contact again and was assured my monthly payments would be £157. Then 12 hours later I get an email from premium credit saying my monthly payment have gone up to £311. So I get in contact again and nobody is any help all they say I can log a complaint or cancel the insurance at a massive cost to myself. The people you speak to have broken English it’s a clown show from top to bottom. They lie about sending emails and tell you to I look in junk folder. Also had all the wrong details on my online account had a complete wrong email address for me when I changed it they charged me £25! I will be taking them to the ombudsman. STAY CLEAR OF THEM ABSOLUTE RIP OFF MERCHANTS.

After having a clean slate for 32 years, they cancelled my policy without notification as the telematics box was faulty. I only found out when I logged on to the portal to get the policy number. AVOID AT ALL COST. Please pay a bit extra and get a decent policy. Also, they failed to reply to emails. I have written to them again, and If they do not reply I will take it up with the insurance ombudsman.

i just got a email out of the blue from freedom brokers to tell me they will not be renewing my car insurance, ive got the black box insurance and all year i was rated very good and excellent on my car driving by them every month for a year and saying i could be getting a discount on renewal, yeah right, they left me well in the lurch with my car MOT almost due so i could have done without the extra cost of taking out another policy else where and having to find the 1st down payment as always pay monthly, so no i wont be having this insurers again and i will certainly will tell others to avoid at all costs thankyou miss r wiggin

How do these people sleep at night ? Avoid or suffer the consequences, one of the worst experiences of my life. After the attempted theft of my vehicle I reported this to Freedom brokers who then passed me to action 365 who then passed me to there other company PUKKA insurance, I say pukka when they should be called something that sounds similar but not as pleasant. To explain fully my experience with them would be like writing a book, But the short version is that I ended up having to arrange recovery myself / arrange the repairs myself and pay the bills. Pukka , action 365 and freedom all in it together To rub salt into the wounds when the insurance with them was due to end and I tried to renew insurance with another company I was informed by me potential brokers I had a claim outstanding for £ 1,200 With pukka , I then eventually managed to speak to a claims advisor for action 365 who confirmed this lie . I’ve never received a single penny from this company in fact it cost me over £ 1,550.00 to get my van back on the road and now my insurance history record shows as : Vandalism claim £ 1,200 . How they get away with this kind of behaviour I can’t understand, I can only put this terrible experience down to my own stupidity in not looking into the company before insuring through them. I can only hope that my and many others reviews will help save a lot of time , anxiety and money for others.

Do not use this insurance, my insurance got cancelled, I was sent emails but went to my junk! All because of my no claims which they should have previously had as they were my precious insurance, now everytime I get a different insurance it shows that I've had my insurance cancelled therefore sky high prices! Avoid it this insurance. Thank me later.

Beware! This Company is a total Con Artist. No matter how well you drive they will double your premium without the Black Box and if you do not renew they will hound you for payment on your credit agreement, as cancelling your insurance policy does not cancel your credit agreement! PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THEM !

I have been with Freedom Brokers for many years. I'm a business owner, and I have multiple active policies. Some months back, I received a phone call about a renewal for a van I owned. I told the team member not to renew the policy as I was due to sell the van the following week and that I would be in touch shortly to insure another new vehicle. I also logged into online and turned off auto-renew for all my policies. I thought this would be the end of it. However, they renewed the policy for the vehicle I no longer owned. I phoned up immediately and reminded them I did not want to renew the policy and asked them to cancel it immediately. I was told there would be no fee. I then received an email saying I owed a cancellation fee. I called up the Indian call center again and explained that I originally asked for my policy not to be renewed before the renewal date. They did not trust me and listened to recorded phone calls. They then asked me to send proof that I had sold my vehicle, which I did. Today, I have had an email from their debt collection agency insisting I pay the fee. I'm now going to pay the fee and cancel all my policies with Freedom Brokers and stay clear of them in the future.

Yes they have terrible customer care, Yes the director of Freedom Brokers has also another failed Insurance Company tied to them in the past. If you pull up there details at Companies House (I suggest you take a read yourself) you'll see that they owe money out to a lending company (2 years later) and that there profits are low. No one seems to know what they are doing there, it is really poorly ran. This is because the customer service is terrible, they have no clue how to run an Insurance brokerage company and it WILL go the same way as the last business they ran. If you've not paid them yet for a policy then your lucky! move on and find a better business. If you have paid then I would suggest contacting them to cancel the policy so you can get a part refund and find another provider that will be around longer than 12 months.

Do not use if you wish to get in touch with them or amend any of your details. Been trying to contact for 4 months now to try and ADD a driver to policy - no replies, and no way of speaking to anyone. Have to now take out ANOTHER policy with another provider just to add a new driver

I do not wish to even give one star to this company. I totally agree with the below comments eg. Very bad customer service, wrong information given, but did not accept it. I also asked them to send the recordings which never Happened. Please pay the little extra but DO NOT take your policy with this company. I wish I had time to write what's happened to me. But it's all negative feedback. Please stay away from this company at all expenses.

Trying to make a windscreen claim , all my documents say there is a £95 excess which is fine , but try and claim and then they inform you there is a limit they will pay for the windscreen , so ending up having to pay an extra £245 on top . Please be aware they do not advise you this when taking out the policy and it does not show on any document they supply you with . I'm sure this id wrong and taking it further .

Customer Service is a complete Joke! This is nothing but a SCAM! I drove for a year, using a box Scoring 95/100 for speed, 95/100 for braking and 89/100 for night driving between 11pm - 5am .according to them this was excellent driving and I was in for a big discount! There was a £10 discount on the previous years quote of £1,280! Even though I emailed them to inform them I would not be insuring again this year, they continue to bombard me with threats of court proceedings demanding over £350! They are SCAMMERS beware so not use this Company

I am compelled to share my profoundly disappointing experience with Freedom Brokers. I recently took out a policy with them, only to have it summarily cancelled due to an alleged failure on my part to submit proof of no claims. However, what’s truly astonishing is that I never received a single communication from Freedom Brokers regarding this matter. Despite my repeated requests, my policy documents were never sent to me. My attempts to contact customer services were met with abysmal service. Calls would ring twice, followed by a painful fifteen-second burst of music, then an agonizing fifteen minutes of silence before being abruptly disconnected. The customer service representatives I encountered were not just unhelpful, but also displayed an astounding level of rudeness, obnoxiousness, and condescension. Hearing phrases like “that’s not really my problem is it” and “this is all your fault” from a company representative was truly disheartening. Freedom Brokers’ assertion that they exclusively communicate via email due to my preference is erroneous. I, in fact, favor phone calls and post over emails. This, compounded by their complete failure to engage with me, has left me in a perilous situation, now faced with exorbitant insurance premiums upwards of £2000 after the policy cancellation. I strongly caution anyone considering using this company. While their initial premiums may appear attractive, the aftermath of a cancelled policy is a financial burden I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. A simple courtesy call from Freedom Brokers could have swiftly resolved this matter. I have lodged a formal complaint and am taking this grievance to the Financial Ombudsman. It is my hope that others can be spared the ordeal I have endured with Freedom Brokers.
