“Even though it was the worst time to order during this Covid-19 pandemic, freshlyfermented.co.uk delivered a perfect starter to my new love-affair with sourdough bread making. The recipe is brilliant, the instructions spot on and the dutch no knead sourdough bread tastes fabulous.”

“The grains arrived promptly and clear instructions on how to activate and ferment are given online, printable. When fermented, the kefir was very sour and so I twice fermented half but this tasted worse so couldn't use it. However other half improved with keeping in fridge and I froze the grains which had trebled in size. Worth pursuing. Fair value for money.”

“What a find! My scoby was scuppered, so I Googled around for a trustworthy place offering quality product and singular customer service. (I'm a bit of a research nerd.) After comparing a few options, Freshly Fermented came up the winner. I've been enjoying my home-brewed kombucha ever since! Their instructions are clear and concise and their offerings are endless. I'm thinking of treating myself to another type of scoby soon!”

“Ordering was very easy. My kefir culture arrived promptly and few days later i was enjoying my own kefir. The cultures are working great and growing as expected.The instructions on website about how to "settle in" the cultures and care for them are very clear (and I was happy not to receive a printed version). I am very happy with the product and service received. When the time comes I will definitely come back to order another product.”

“Freshly Fermented provide a much needed product for making yoghurts and sourdough breads etc. It is hard to make a good sourdough culture from scratch so the cultures from Freshly Fermented are very helpful.”

“The items we ordered were despatched very quickly, considering the current situation, re covid. The sourdough starter worked perfectly, as does the yogurt maker, which saves me a lot mucking about with hot water bottles and cool boxes. The whey strainer is really great - left to drain overnight, it makes perfect geek yogurt.”

“Wonderful customer care, amazingly quick at replying and communicating. Products were understandably late because of Covid but the customer service was willing to resend the starters but I the ENd it was necessary as they arrived.
