“Fantastic company and great quality products, so much so I have now purchased six cultures from them, all of which have activated promptly without a single issue. All of the cultures arrived within the expected delivery time and were packaged securely with no sign of damage upon receiving them. I downloaded instructions on how to activate the products from the website, which were simple to follow. The customer service is also fantastic, as they answered a number of questions I threw at them and even emailed me on a Sunday evening to let me know when one particular culture I was after came back in stock. I would definitely recommend this company, so much so that I intend to buy one or two more cultures in the coming weeks. Every culture I have received from them thus far has been top notch.”

“Ordered the sourdough starter. Arrived quickly and in perfect condition and following the online instructions on activation, it was raring to go. I have already made a couple of sourdough loaves and the quality of the starter really shows in the taste of the bread.”

“Products were well packaged and arrived on time. I've already baked with both sourdough starters and they work well. Very nice bread! I haven't made yoghurt yet, but am looking forward to doing so. The online instructions were very good. I'd shop here again.”

“I ordered Gingerbug from Freshlyfermented from our retirement home on Madeira. My order arrived by standard post in a little over a week in a well packed mini box. The use by date had several weeks on it before it went out of date. I set about starting up the plant for the first time. I needed to ask a question about the feeding procedure and popped off an email. My query was answered almost immediately. I kept and fed the plant in my seed propogater for the entire process. When it came to producing my first batch of ginger beer after bottling in 500ml plastic water bottles I also used my propogater to maintain a constant temperature for just over a week. I released the pressure in the bottles every day. I placed the bottles in the fridge and left them for ten days. Yesterday afternoon we opened the first bottle and tasted what must be the best ginger beer ever! I will be taking a serious look at Freshlyfermenteds other products.”

“The culture arrived exactly on time. Despite winter temperatures, it activated within 2 days. I have just enjoyed my first kefir drink, and it was very pleasant: looking forward to what it tases like when the culture is fully up and running. The instructions and website are very clear and friendly.”
